Abstract

Mathematics is often considered a frightening and difficult subject for students. This is one of the causes of reduced student interest in learning mathematics. Based on field observations, the teaching and learning process still uses conventional learning methods, so that learning becomes boring and tends to be monotonous for students and reduces student interest and motivation in learning mathematics material. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the project based learning (PjBL) method on the learning motivation of second-grade students of SD 177 Pekanbaru. The research method used in this study is an experimental method (pre-experimental design) using a one-group pretest posttest design. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Furthermore, researchers use the N-Gain test as a data analysis technique with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 29 software program. Based on data analysis, the results obtained are 0.001 <0.05, this can be interpreted that H0 and H1 are rejected. And the results of the N-Gain Score test are 0.56 and the N-Gain percentage is 56%, which means that the interpretation category has a high effectiveness value. So it can be concluded that project-based learning (PjBL) has an effect on the learning motivation of class II students of SD 177 Pekanbaru, namely 56%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and hand-eye coordination with the overhand service ability in volleyball among students of SMK Pamor Cikampek. The overhand service skill is one of the fundamental techniques that plays an important role in initiating attacks and determining the direction of the game. Mastery of this technique is not only influenced by physical ability but also by psychological factors such as self-confidence and motor abilities such as hand-eye coordination. This research employed a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of all volleyball extracurricular participants at SMK Pamor Cikampek, totaling 30 students. The sampling technique used was total sampling, meaning that all members of the population were included as research samples. The instruments used consisted of a self-confidence questionnaire to measure psychological aspects, a tennis ball throw-catch test to assess hand-eye coordination, and an overhand service test to measure basic technical ability. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a correlation coefficient value of 0.217, which falls into the weak category. This means that there is a positive relationship between self-confidence and hand-eye coordination with overhand service ability, although the contribution is relatively small. These findings suggest that although both factors play a role in improving overhand service performance, other factors such as regular training, playing experience, and physical condition also influence students’ service skills.

Abstract

The implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka in Indonesia faces significant challenges, particularly in areas with limited infrastructure and human resources (HR). This study aims to identify the challenges in the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka, focusing on the quality and distribution of teachers, technology limitations, and infrastructure disparities in remote areas. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation related to the implementation of the curriculum. The results of the study show that many teachers still struggle to integrate technology due to limited training and access to digital devices. Furthermore, the disparity in the distribution of trained teachers between urban and rural areas causes the quality of education in remote areas to be unequal to that in urban areas. Limited infrastructure, including poor internet access, further exacerbates this gap. Therefore, the study recommends the need for continuous training for teachers, improvement of education infrastructure, and the equal distribution of technology access throughout Indonesia to optimize the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka and improve the quality of education equally across the country.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong inovasi dalam media pembelajaran, salah satunya melalui integrasi Augmented Reality (AR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis AR menggunakan aplikasi Assemblr Studio untuk mendukung materi “Struktur Data: Tree (Pohon Keluarga)” pada mata pelajaran Informatika kelas IX di SMPN 16 Malang. Permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran sebelumnya adalah rendahnya minat belajar serta kesulitan peserta didik dalam memahami konsep abstrak akibat penggunaan media konvensional. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, digunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap: Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Pada tahap analisis, diidentifikasi kebutuhan akan visualisasi konkret terhadap konsep abstrak. Tahap desain dilakukan dengan menyusun skenario penggunaan AR dan storyboard. Tahap pengembangan melibatkan pembuatan prototipe menggunakan Assemblr Studio dengan konten 3D interaktif, yang kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli media dan materi. Implementasi dilakukan melalui uji coba terbatas kepada 35 siswa SMPN 16 Malang, sementara evaluasi mencakup penilaian ahli dan angket respon siswa. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi menunjukkan skor kelayakan sebesar 91,1%, sedangkan ahli media memberikan skor 95,83%, keduanya masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak.” Uji coba kelompok kecil dengan 10 siswa menghasilkan skor rata-rata 87%, dan uji coba kelompok besar dengan 35 siswa mencapai 92,49%, menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas dan penerimaan yang sangat tinggi. Siswa melaporkan peningkatan motivasi dan pemahaman, terutama karena visualisasi dan interaktivitas dari media AR. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis AR secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep yang kompleks dan abstrak melalui visualisasi yang menarik dan konkret. Media ini juga mendorong pembelajaran aktif serta meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran AR yang dikembangkan menggunakan Assemblr Studio dinyatakan layak, efektif, dan sangat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran Informatika di tingkat SMP.

Abstract

The growing demand for technology integration in education requires prospective elementary school teachers to possess strong digital literacy competencies. However, prior research shows that their ability to utilize technology for pedagogical purposes remains limited, potentially hindering the quality of teaching practices in the digital era. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design to examine the impact of implementing the SAMR (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) model within a Smart Classroom environment. Two groups participated: an experimental group that received SAMR-based instruction and a control group that experienced conventional teaching. Digital literacy was measured using a validated and reliable questionnaire. The findings demonstrate that students in the experimental group achieved a higher improvement in digital literacy scores compared to those in the control group. The integration of SAMR stages enabled a gradual transformation of learning activities—from simple digital substitution to innovative, redefined practices—resulting in more meaningful technology use. These results confirm the effectiveness of the SAMR model as a framework for optimizing Smart Classroom facilities to systematically enhance digital literacy. The study highlights the importance of embedding structured technology-integration models in teacher education programs to prepare future educators for 21st-century learning environments.

Abstract

This article examines the intellectual transformation of Islam, focusing on the 13th-century scientific legacy and the challenges facing Islamic education in today's digital age. The research method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach, which examines various literature related to the history of classical Islamic scholarship as well as the development of digital technology and its impact on Islamic education in the Digital Age. This study highlights how the 13th-century Islamic intellectual tradition, which integrated religious and scientific knowledge and developed the madrasah education system, has become a crucial foundation for facing the changing times. In the digital age, Islamic education faces various challenges such as disparities in technological access, low digital literacy among educators and students, and the risk of distortion of Islamic values ​​due to the dissemination of unfiltered digital content. However, the digital era also opens up significant opportunities through the use of e-learning platforms, artificial intelligence technology, project-based learning, and social media as a means of interaction and collaboration. The study concludes that the success of the transformation of Islamic education in the digital age depends heavily on the ability to balance the preservation of classical intellectual heritage with technological adaptation, thereby creating a generation of Muslims with integrated intellectual and spiritual intelligence and capable of facing global challenges. This research provides strategic recommendations for Islamic educational institutions to optimize digital technology effectively and ethically, in order to improve the quality of learning and the practice of Islamic values ​​amidst the dynamics of the times.

Abstract

This study focuses on enhancing students' creativity and learning outcomes through the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in the topic of data analysis using Microsoft Excel in class VIII-J of SMP Negeri 19 Malang. The main problem faced by students is the low understanding of Informatics, particularly data analysis, which is often perceived as abstract and difficult to grasp. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of two cycles. Data were collected through observation and learning outcome tests. The results showed an improvement in student creativity from the "fair" category (58.61%) in the pre-cycle to "excellent" (82.77%) in the second cycle. Furthermore, learning mastery increased from 31.25% in the pre-cycle to 90.63% in the second cycle. The implementation of CRT, which connects learning content with local culture such as traditional foods and regional products, was able to create meaningful and relevant learning experiences and increase students' active participation. This research demonstrates that CRT is an effective approach to improving the quality of Informatics learning, particularly in fostering student creativity and understanding of data-based material.

Abstract

The Role of the Tahfidz 30 Juz Program in Shaping the Religious Character of Santriwati at the Darul Aman Gombara Islamic Boarding School, Makassar (supervised by Dr. H. Yusri Muhammad Arsyad, MA andDr. H. Andi Darmawangsa, S.Ag., M.Ag). Education has an important role in shaping the personality and character of students so that they are able to face the challenges of the times that continue to develop. In the context of Islamic education, the formation of religious character is the main aspect that not only aims to educate intellectuals, but also to foster moral and spiritual students. One of the real efforts in shaping religious character is through the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program. This program is not only oriented to memorization, but also to internalizing the values of the Qur'an in daily life. The research aims to: (1) Determine the role of the Tahfidz 30 Juz program in shaping the religious character of students at the Darul Aman Gombara Islamic Boarding School in Makassar; (2) Knowing the values of religious character formed through the Tahfidz 30 Juz program; (3) To know the supporting and inhibiting factors of the role of the Tahfidz 30 Juz program in shaping the religious character of the students. The research method that has been used is qualitative descriptive. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are in the form of data collection, data presentation, data reduction and conclusion drawn. The results of this study show that the Tahfidz 30 Juz program at the Darul Aman Gombara Islamic Boarding School in Makassar plays an important role in the formation of the religious character of students. Through daily, weekly, and monthly activities, students are accustomed to discipline in worship, responsibility, honesty, and patience and sincerity. The religious values that are formed include the values of worship, jihad, morals, trust, and example. The supporting factors for the success of the program come from the positive personality of the students, family support, and a religious and conducive pesantren environment. The inhibiting factors include differences in student backgrounds, inappropriate family parenting, weak motivation of some students in maintaining memorization consistency, and limited access to observation and supervision in the dormitory which causes the coaching process to not always be optimally monitored. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the Tahfidz 30 Juz program is an effective educational means in shaping the religious character of students through habituation of Qur'anic values in daily life. An integrative and applicable approach has been proven to be able to foster discipline, responsibility, and example, although there are still several aspects that need to be improved so that the formation of religious character can run more optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a multidisciplinary Islamic education system policy in Indonesia and the role of Islamic educational leadership in supporting its success. The background of this research is based on the dichotomy between religious and general knowledge, which has long been a fundamental problem in Islamic education. Through library research and policy analysis, this study finds that multidisciplinary Islamic education is a crucial strategy in addressing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. Key findings indicate that the Ministry of Religious Affairs has implemented policy transformation through curriculum integration, madrasah digitalization, and religious moderation programs. However, obstacles remain in the form of cultural resistance, limited human resources, and gaps in access to technology. Adaptive, collaborative, and Islamic-value-based leadership are key to strengthening the multidisciplinary Islamic education system in the future.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem in educational settings that disrupts students’ psychological development and the school learning climate. Teachers play a crucial role in preventing such aggressive behavior. This study aims to describe teachers’ roles in preventing bullying and to identify the forms of bullying occurring at MI NWDI 05 Pancor. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected from the principal, islamic teacher and homeroom teachers (grades 3A, 4A, and 6B) through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the dominant forms of bullying include verbal bullying (mocking physical appearance and parents’ names), mild physical bullying (hitting and seizing belongings), and social bullying (exclusion). Teachers perform three main functions: (1) as educators and instructors who integrate anti-bullying values into lessons; (2) as guides and mediators who resolve student conflicts; and (3) as caregivers providing emotional support and counseling to victims. Although teachers have taken individual actions, the school lacks a formal anti-bullying program. Therefore, stronger collaboration among teachers, school leaders, and parents is needed to establish a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free school environment.
