Abstract

This  study  aims  to  determine  the  effect  of  the  use  of  the  Problem  Based Learning model on disaster preparedness material on the  scientific literacy skills of Class IV students at the Bengkulu State Elementary School. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design in this study is The Matching Only Pretest-Postest Group Design. The population in this study was SDN 01, SDN 04, SDN 08, and SDN 11. The sampling used cluster random sampling technique so that the fourth grade of SD Negeri 08 Bengkulu City (experimental class) and class IVA SD Negeri Bengkulu City (control class) were obtained. Instrument testing was conducted in class V of SD Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu. The instruments used in this study were the questionnaire  components  of  scientific  attitude  totaling  15  questions,  the multiple-choice  context  sheet  test  sheets  totaling  10  questions.  Soft  test components  in  the  form  of  multiple  choice  knowledge  which  number  10 questions, and observation sheets of competency components. The calculation results of the t-test gain score on the components of scientific attitude obtained a thitung of 5.73 greater than the ttabel value of 1.673, in the context component obtained a thitung of 4.48 greater than the ttabel value of 1.673, the component of knowledge obtained by thitung for 4.78 greater than the ttabel value of 1.673, and in the competency component in the experimental class the criteria are very good at 57%, the criteria for good are 43% while the criteria for the control class are very good at 35.7%, the criteria are good 53.6% , the criteria are quite 10.7%. Based on the results of the four components of scientific literacy, it means that there is a significant influence on the use of the Problem Based Learning model on students' literacy skills. The conclusion in this study is that there is the influence  of  the  use  of  the  Problem  Based  Learning  model  in  Disaster Preparedness  material  on  Science  Literacy  Ability  of  Class  IV  Students  of Bengkulu City Elementary School.Keywords:   Problem  Based  Learning  Model,  Disaster  Preparedness,  Science, Literacy Ability

Abstract

The problems that occur so far, the teacher has never measured the proportion of questions in basic competencies at each level of Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects. So it is not yet known the distribution of questions in the school exams in Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects. In addition, the reality that occurs in the field is that the questions made by the teacher in the exam are mostly only focused on the cognitive realm, even though for Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects, the affective domain is also implicit in Permendikbud No. 37 of 2018. This study aims to describe the proportion of questions in basic competencies per class level, cognitive level, affective level of school exam questions in Pancasila and Civics Education subjects in Bengkulu City SD / MI students for the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is descriptive research. The subjects in this study were Class VI SD / MI Bengkulu City. The object in this study is the suitability of the basic competencies of grades IV, V, and VI with school exam questions, school exam questions, the proportion of cognitive levels, the proportion of affective levels of school exam questions for Pancasila education subjects and the citizenship of SD / MI students in Bengkulu City for the 2019 academic year / 2020. The research instrument used was documentation in the form of school exam questions for Pancasila Education and Citizenship of SD / MI students of Bengkulu City for the 2019/2020 academic year. The research data were analyzed using the proportion of the cognitive level of the affective on the items analyzed then the percentage was calculated. The results showed that: 1) The proportion of questions in basic competence per class level, including the basic competency of class VI as many as 4 percentage items of 10%, class V of 9 percentage items of 22.5% and class VI of 27 items a percentage of 67.5%; 2) The proportion of cognitive level, including the level of understanding (C2) as many as 11 items of 27.5%, applying (C3) of 8 items of 20%, analyzing (C4) of 15 items of 37.50%, and evaluating (C5)) as many as 6 items at 15%. Based on the analysis, the recall level (C1) and the creative level (C6) were not yet in the items on the school exam; 3) The proportion of the affective level, including the response level (A2) as many as 5 percentage items of 12.5%, the respect level (A3) as many as 15 items, the percentage of 37.5%, the organizing level (A4) as many as 8 percentage questions 20%, and the level of characterization according to value (A5) is 5 items, the percentage is 12.5%. Thus it can be concluded that the items in the PPKn subject school exam for the 2019/2020 school year have known the proportion of the number of questions in basic competencies per class level, the proportion of cognitive levels and affective levels.Keywords: suitability of basic competencies, cognitive level, affective level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the of tge PjBL learning model, Diorama in science learning on the creative thinking abilities of fourth grade students in elementary schools. This research is a wuantitative research. The method used is quasy experiment. The design in this study is The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest control Group Desigen. The population in this study were all students in Elementary School Cluster X Bengkulu City. The samples in this study were students of class IV A SDN 58 Bengkulu City, amounting to 20 people as experimental clasa and class IV B stduents of SDN 38 Bengkulu City, totaling 21 people as control class. The instrument used in the form of multiple choice tests consisted of dimensions of flency, flexible thingking, original thinking, elaboration, and thinking ability to evaluate (evaluation) provided through pretest and posttest. This research also resulted in a Diorama Project that affected students’ creative thingking abilities. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of this study note that the ?????? of 2.58 greater that ?????? at a significant of 5% of 2.02. This shows that threre is an influence of the Diorama Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in natural science learning on the creative thinking abilities of grade IV elementary school students.Keywords : Project Based Learning (PjBL) Leraning Model, Thinking Creative

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of Pancasila and Citizenship Education by using visual media in Offline and Online Learning and to find out the differences in the implementation of offline and online learning. The research sample was grade IV B students at SDN 60 Bengkulu city consisting of 22 students divided into 11 offline students and 11 online students, the method used was quantitative, the data collection techniques was using tests and documents, the data analysis technique was using a test the statistics There are differences in learning outcomes with visual media Offline and Online Learning Class IV B, this is indicated by the t_count value of 2.49 which is greater than the t_table value at a significant level of 5% of 1.68. while the documentation to find out the difference between offline and online implementation for class IV B SDN 60 Bengkulu City is seen from the learning process with visual media. The results of the study concluded that there were significant differences in offline and online learning using visual media between experimental class I and experimental class II. The test showed the offline average score was 86 greater than online 79 and the documentation showed the offline learning process was more optimal than online.Keyword: learning outcomes, offline and online, pancasila and citizenship education

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers as educators in developing the discipline character of students in class IV A 01 Kota Bengkulu Elementary School. This type of research is qualitative research, with descriptive research methods. The subjects of the study were the principal, grade IV A teachers, and grade IV A students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed by data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data using extended observations, increasing perseverance and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the role of the teacher as an educator in developing the character of student discipline has been carried out in class IV A. The role of the teacher in developing the character of student discipline consists of as motivators, facilitators and evaluators. As a motivator the teacher has given encouragement to students to always be disciplined in the classroom, as a facilitator the teacher has provided the facilities needed by students to develop the character of their discipline and as an evaluator the teacher has also conducted an evaluation to see the extent of the development of the discipline character of students in the class.Keywords: The Role Of Teachers, Character, Discipline

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use multimedia-based problem-based learning (PBL) models on student collaboration on thematic learning in class V SDN cluster 12 Bengkulu city. This research is quantitative. The research method used is a quasi experimental design with the type of design "the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population is SDN cluster 12 Kota Bengkulu. The sampling uses cluster random sampling technique. Subject in this study was class V A SDN 81 Kota Bengkulu as an experimental class and class V B SDN 99 Kota Bengkulu as a control class. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire was the ability of students to collaborate given the initial questionnaire and the final questionnaire in the control class and the experimental class. Analysis of data for technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistical and inferential statistics namely t-test. From the results of the t-test calculation of the student's final questionnaire value, namely tcount = 2.18 is greater than the value of t table = 2.02. It shows that there are differences in the results of the final questionnaire between the the control class and experimental class. Based on the results of the difference in the final questionnaire value of the experimental class and the control class, it can be concluded that there is a t effect with a 5% scale using multimedia-based problem-based learning (PBL) models towards student collaboration on thematic learning in class V SDN cluster 12 Kota Bengkulu.Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, Multimedia, Student Collaboration, Thematic Learning

Abstract

This study aims to produce a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model in grade V Elementary School (SD) which is feasible in the learning process in the classroom. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) research by modifying the 4-D model. However, this research was only carried out until the third stage, namely Definition, Design and Development. Validation is carried out by learning design experts, learning material experts and language experts. The lesson plans developed were given scores and responses by 8 SD Negeri Bengkulu City teachers to assess the products developed from the presentation and material aspects. The research subject was a grade V teacher at SDN Kota Bengkulu. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis of the results of expert validation assessments and teacher responses as well as qualitative descriptive analysis of comments from expert validation and teacher responses. This study produces a Teaching Implementation Plan (RPP) model using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model with validation assessments from 3 experts with an average of 91.63 with a very good category. The teacher's response was 92.03 with very good category. So, the research that has been carried out can be concluded that the lesson plan using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model in thematic learning in grade V SD can be categorized as a very good lesson plan and can be used in learning at school.Keywords: RPP, Development, Jigsaw Cooperative Learning, Thematic

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of making montage art in three dimensional fields and montage works in three dimensional fields in class IV B elementary school Bengkulu City.This type of research is qualitative, with participant observation techniques, and qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were all students of class IV B 01 elemnetary school in Bengkulu City, totaling 28 students. The research instrument used was a human instrument (the researcher himself), by using observation guidelines and interview guidlines. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out during the process of making the work and after the work was finished by referring to the fine arts elements and the principles of fine arts. Research results are (1)the process of making montage artwork in a three dimensional field begins with preparing the tools and materials used, namely glue, pictures, bamboo, and scissors, followed by the implementation of making works from cutting images, collecting images, combining pieces of pictures, and placing pieces of images on bamboo. Montage works in three dimensional field that are made based on the elements of fine arts and the principles of fine arts, namely the elements of point, lines, fields, shapes, colors, textures, dark light, space and light. Then, the principle of unity, balance, rhythm, emphasis, proportion, and harmony.Keywords: Descriptive, Montage Art, Three Dimension

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning in V class SDN Gugus XIX of Bengkulu City. This research was quantitative research. The research method was quasi-experimental with the type of design matching onle pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were five grade in Gugus XIX of the city of Bengkulu City. The sample in this study were VC class SDN 71 Bengkulu City and V class SDN 103 Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The research instruments was a knowledge learning result is multiple choice questions (pretest and posttest). For the attitude and skills aspects used is observation sheets. The data analysis by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistic. The results shows that the t-test score obtains in the Indonesian language is 4.012 and in the natural science is 2,941 with t-tables at the 5% significance level of, 1,669 where t-count is greater than t-table. It can be concluded, that there is a significant effect on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning using the type Two Stay Two Stray cooperative leaning model.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Type Two Stay Two Stray, Thematic, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study is a Research and Development (R&D) research by modifying the 4-D model. However, this research was only carried out until the third stage, namely Develop (Development). Validation is carried out by learning design experts and learning material experts. The lesson plans developed were given scores and responses by 8 public elementary school teachers in Bengkulu City. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis of the results of expert validation assessments and teacher responses as well as qualitative descriptive analysis of comments from expert validation and teacher responses. This study produced a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) model using a role playing learning model with assessments from instructional design experts, learning materials and language on RPP validation of 94.6 with very good categories. The teacher's response was 91 with very good category. So, the research that has been carried out can be concluded that the lesson plan using the role playing learning model in thematic learning in grade IV SD can be categorized as a very good lesson plan and can be used in learning at school.Keywords: RPP, Development, Role Playing, Thematic.
