Abstract

Implementation of Online Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to Improve Educational Services for Parents of Students in Vocational High Schools, is research that implements an online program in the form of Whatsapp services and websites in order to improve and improve services for parents of students in Schools. CRM itself is actually often used in business companies, but is also starting to be used in the world of education. CRM aims to improve relationships with customers, in this case parents, and increase interest in the school, which ultimately results in the school having many students.  The online CRM used is an Android application in the form of a Whatsapp application and website. With this service application, parents of students can find out about the distribution of information and developments in school programs that will be and have been implemented for their children or students at the school, so that they can improve services that ultimately increase interest. Today a good customer relationship management (CRM) platform is the backbone of many successful student recruiting efforts. CRM for schools is a customer-centric system that can help education professionals, build relationships with prospects and enrollees, generating data-based insights.

Abstract

This research aims to see the extent of the LKPD development process on the properties of solid, liquid and gas objects material in the 5th grade of elementary school, as well as finding out the results of the analysis regarding the feasibility and response to product implementation. This research uses the ADDIE model development method which involves questionnaires, tests and several interviews in data collection. The development of digital-based LKPD has very good feasibility. This can be seen from the material expert validity test of 3.8, the language expert test of 3.7, the media expert test of 3.9 and all of them are recommended as very valid and suitable for use. The development of digital-based LKPD has very good effectiveness in learning science material on the properties of solid, liquid and gas objects as assessed from the test results given. The posttest learning results achieved were very significant.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence of visualization strategy towards students' reading comprehension on narrative text. The writer used quantitative method and categorized the research as quasi experimental method. The population was 246 from 8 classes. The writer used Cluster Random Sampling Technique in taking the sample. There were 2 classes as a sample. X1 was an experiment class and X2 was a control class. The experiment class consisted of 32 students and control class consisted of 34 students. The main technique in measuring students’ reading comprehension was multiple choice which consisted of 40 items with 5 options a, b, c, d and e. The score of each item is 2,5 for correct answer. In calculating the data analysis, the writer used t-test formula. Based on the data analysis, the average score of experimental class was 81,94 and the average score of control class was 73,25 which means the average score of experimental class was higher than control class. The writer got that Ha was accepted. It was obtained that ttest = 3,73 and ttable 0,05 = 2,00 and 0,01 = 2,66 (3,73 > 2,00 < 2,66). It means that there was a significant influence of Visualization strategy towards students’ reading comprehension on narrative text at the tenth grade of SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in 2022/2023.

Abstract

Sexual violence is still a serious problem, including in educational settings. This study aims to analyze the impact and factors causing sexual violence that occurs in the school environment. The method used in this study is a literature study. The results of the study indicate that sexual violence in the school environment can have an impact on decreasing students' ability to concentrate, decreasing academic grades, loss of learning motivation, inhibiting self-actualization, dropping out of school, fewer opportunities in the world of work, and tarnishing the name of the school. Meanwhile, the factors that cause sexual violence in the school environment are low self-control of the perpetrator, low understanding of physical boundaries, unclear rules in the school, an unsafe school environment, unwise use of social media, tolerance of immoral behavior, difficulty collecting evidence, and the last is the lack of parental role and sexual education.

Abstract

The problems raised in this research are based on problems that emerged after the listening activity, where only four to five students actively participated in the discussion, while the others tended to be passive and did not express opinions. The listening process requires full concentration from students. Therefore, it is necessary to apply innovative learning models by lecturers to improve the quality of the learning process. The author will use a qualitative descriptive method. The data source in this research came from second semester students of the Indonesian language and literature education study program. Data collection techniques used include observation, recording techniques, and unstructured interviews. Data analysis in this research generally includes several stages, namely: checking, organizing and coding. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the use of interactive audio-visual media in learning comprehensive and critical listening skills in the Indonesian language and literature education study program STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. This research aims to explain the types of interactive audio-visual media used by lecturers, as well as how this media helps in delivering material and improving students' comprehensive and critical listening skills. In addition, this research assesses the effectiveness of using audio-visual media compared to traditional learning methods such as discussions and lectures. This research also identifies supporting factors that increase the effectiveness of learning critical listening skills through the use of multimedia, as well as revealing the obstacles faced in using laboratory equipment and audio-visual media during the learning process.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the industrial revolution 4.0 era and the need for teaching materials to improve student character based on the independent curriculum. Therefore, a design and trial of website-based Carrdsight teaching materials with a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) approach on Pancasila Student Profile material on Global Diversity Values was designed. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the Borg & Gall procedure design. This research was conducted in SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Panjang Lampung. The subjects of this research were media design experts and seventh grade students of SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Panjang Lampung. The object of this research is Media Carrdsight teaching materials with SEL approach on Pancasila Student Profile material on Global Diversity Value. The data taken in this study are validity and response questionnaire data. The collected data were analysed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The developed website media was declared very valid with a percentage of 83.52% by media experts and material experts, a practicality assessment of 80.45% by Guidance and Counselling teachers and received a very good response with a percentage of 85% from students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the website-based Carrdsight teaching materials Carrd.co with the SEL approach on the Pancasila Student Profile material on Global Diversity Values developed are valid and good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Line Webtoon application has an effect on students’ reading skills which were previously not good enough after using the Line Webtoon aplication. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative experimental method. The result of the research that has been done is that there is an effect of the Line Webtoon application on reading skills in class XI students of SMA Yayasan Wanita Kereta Api (YWKA) Palembang, which is significant because it is proven that tcount is greater that ttable at a significant level of 0,05%. After comparing the test result of the control class with the experimental class, it was found that tcount ttabel 3,188 0,1982 at a significant level of 0,05% with dk 68, namely the difference in the average score of 18.76 and the average value of the experimental class was 21.47. thus, the hypothesis which states that “ Line Webtoon application affects the reading skills of class XI students at SMA Yayasan Wanita Kereta Api (YWKA) Palembang” is proven to be true.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and improve students' critical thinking skills using Problem Based Learning with Lesson Study in the Descriptive Statistics course Indonesian Language Education Study Program STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. The method used is classroom action research, through lesson study which is carried out in three stages, namely, planning (Plane), implementation (Do) and reflection (See). Through improving students' critical thinking skills using Problem Based Learning with Lesson Study, it is expected to be able to explore and make students to be able to think critically and be more creative in ongoing learning. This can affect the value of students' critical thinking skills, in the first cycle an average of 63.5% is in the "enough" category, while in the second cycle an average of 88% is in the "good" category. This shows an increase in critical thinking skills in the second cycle, by 24.5%%, before being carried out. Thus it can be concluded that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model is able to improve students' critical thinking skills in the Descriptive Statistics course Indonesian Language Education study program. STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the professionalism of teachers in learning through academic supervision. Analysis of technical action data in academic supervision was analyzed descriptively comparatively, by comparing the data in the initial conditions, cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3. Tools and data collection by observation, interviews,. The method used is observation, documentation, and ongoing guidance. Results and discussion of improving academic supervision in improving teacher professionalism. The pre-cycle pedagogical ability totaled 396.9 (65.98%), in the first cycle it increased to 462.5 (77.08%), the second cycle got an average score of 83.32%, and the third cycle got an average score 97.92%. The teacher's professional ability in the first cycle was 68% on average, the second cycle was 91.68% on average, and the third cycle increased to 125.69%.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi penulis, di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Payakumbuh, perangkat pembelajaran guru belum sempurna, proses pembelajaran kurang efektif, dan pengelolaan madrasah belum sempura, karena masih ada madrasah yang belum menyusun RKM, RKTM dan EDM, dengan demikian berarti supervisi yang dilakukan oleh pengawas belum maksimal. Untuk memperoleh data dan informasi yang akurat, penulis menggunakan teori partisipatif-eksploratif, dengan menggunakan instrumen supervisi akademik dan manajerial terhadap masalah di atas secara kualitatif. Data dan informasi lapangan ini diharapkan bermamfaat untuk; 1) bahan pembinaan bagi pejabat yang berwenang dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan prestasi peserta didik, 2) mengetahui keberhasilan maupun kekurangan yang ada pada madrasah aliyah, 3) bahan pembinaan, pengarahan dan penilaian terhadap madrasah aliyah Kota Payakumbuh, baik dari aspek akademik maupun manajerial. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Madrasah Aliyah se-Kota Payakumbuh, dengan sampel penelitian 5 buah madrasah aliyah negeri dan swasta, yaitu: 1) MAN 1 Payakumbuh, 2) MAN 2 Payakumbuh, 3) MAN 3 Payakumbuh, 4) MAS TI Pakan Sinayan, dan 5) MAS TI Koto Panjang Kota Payakumbuh, yang dilaksanakan pada tahun pelajaran 2021-2022.
