Abstract

The problems studied in this study are related to the less than optimal achievement of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the CORE learning model on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of grade VIII students in the Odd Semester of SMP Negeri 34 Bandar Lampung in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This study used an experimental method with the population in this study being all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 34 Bandar Lampung consisting of 7 classes. While the sample was taken from two classes, namely class VIII C as the experimental class that applies the CORE learning model, and class VIII A as the control class that applies the conventional learning model. The sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. To determine students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, the author conducted a test in the form of five essay questions that had previously been tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing in this study used the t-hit formula and obtained a value of t = 3,51. From the t-distribution table at a significance level of 5%, it is known that t = 1,67, so , which means that the average mathematical problem-solving ability of students using the CORE learning model is higher than the average mathematical problem-solving ability of students using the conventional learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the learner's perception regarding online learning implementation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection was done through a survey questionnaire consisting of both open-ended and close-ended questions, and continued by interview activities. The participants in this study amounted to 28 students of 3rd semester of STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires with Likert scale and interview. Results from this research showed that students have a positive attitude toward the online learning experience in general. The implementation of online learning during a pandemic is considered an effective and cheap way of accessing knowledge. However, most students showed frustration due to bad internet access, which affects their learning success. Students also felt the need for improvement in terms of interaction and engagement between students and teachers.

Abstract

During this pandemic, the learning process changed from face-to-face to distance learning (online), including at SMK Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung which implemented distance learning with the guidance of parents from home and teachers from school. This has an impact on students' interest in learning. This research was carried out on how online learning had an effect on student interest in learning at SMK Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung during the Covid-19 period. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive data analysis, so that it is easy to understand. Students interact in learning with the school using several applications in the form of a Learning Management System (LMS), a software application for online activities, electronic learning programs (e-learning programs), Google Classrom, zoom, Whatsapp Group, Google Meet, and Quizizz . Respondents taken are students, parents, and teachers. Based on the results of research from 30 students who filled out the form, there were 20 students or 62.5% who felt boredom following online learning and 10 people or 37.5% were still relaxed or did not experience boredom while participating in online learning. It can be concluded that the online learning process is very influential on students' interest in learning.

Abstract

The attitude of students' disinterest and the inaccuracy of the teacher in choosing techniques or learning methods for learning to write poetry, it is necessary to research effective learning techniques for learning to write poetry. This study also aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of word series techniques in improving the ability to write creative poetry. The results showed a significant difference in the posttest scores of creative writing poetry of the control group and experimental group students. In the control group there were 6 students who got low scores, 29 students got medium scores, and 2 students got high scores. In the experimental group there were 2 students who got low scores, 18 students got medium scores, and 15 students got high scores. This shows that there are significant differences in the ability to write creative poetry between the control group and the experimental group. The t-test results of the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental group produced a tcount of 2007 with a df of 35 and a table of 0.13 at a significance level of 5%. This shows that the effective word series technique is used in learning to write poetry because the value of t-count <-table (-2.007 <- 0.13).

Abstract

This study purpose to produce a learning trajectory of arithmetic subtraction operation material for class VII junior high school using the culinary context of the archipelago with augmented reality technology assisted by android. The research method used was design research type validation study. This research using design research method consists of three stages of research. The first stage was preparing for the experiment. The second stage was the experimental design which is divided into two cycles, the first cycle was the pilot experiment and the second cycle was the teaching experiment. The third stage was retrospective analysis which consists of two cycles according to the cycle in the experimental design stage. Learning designs made using augmented reality technology can help and made it easier for students to understand the concept of algebraic subtraction operations in class VII SMP and learning designs that are made can attract students' interested and provided new experiences in carrying out mathematics learning activities, especially algebraic subtraction operations material.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran abad 21 terutama pembelajaran sejarah, namun kemampuan berpikir siswa Indonesia masih rendah. Hal itu dibutkitan dengan hasil PISA 2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana cara siswa menjawab soal-soal HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) dan menganalisis tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui soal-soal HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) tentang sumpah pemuda dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Data yang digunakan adalah hasil angket terkait penyusunan soal HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills), hasil uji soal-soal HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Indralaya, dan hasil wawancara dengan siswa. Soal yang diujikan adalah soal sejarah peminatan dengan level kognitif C4 pada dimensi kognitif konseptual dan metakognitif. Soal ini disusun berdasarkan indikator berpikir Ennis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa masih belum mampu mencapai seluruh indikator berpikir kritis Ennis. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, siswa perlu dibiasakan menggunakan soal berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) dalam menjawab soal sumpah pemuda pada pembalajaran sejarah.

Abstract

This research was conducted as an effort to develop HOTS-based questions which included discussions on Historiography (Traditional, Colonial, National and Modern). In this study applied quantitative research methods using research and development methods to find out and measure the level of students’ understanding of the use of Higher order thinking skills (HOTS) questions in the material types of historiography in history learning. The development research method is research that is used to test the level of success and effectiveness of a product, which in this case is based on the use of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions. This study also aims to see the results in the form of elaboration starting from the process to the results in the HOTS test questions tested, also to measure the level of development of the questions on the Historiographical types of material that have been tested before through verification of teaching staff, fellow students, and field tests so that later questions is valid and the results of this research data are also real.

Ability language very important in stimulation since early, Because child age ready capable role active in communication. Strategy in developing capabilities speaking kindergarten students, one of only with use puppet play . The method used in this research descriptive with approach qualitative. This research that the use of the puppet show can develop speak ability on child Kindergarten age with puppet play media assistance. With this puppet media can stimulate motor skills, creativity, imagination, experimentation and exploration. By using this puppet play strategy it really attracts the attention of students, so that teachers and students are active and work together.

Abstract

The research aimed to know the effect of Freewriting technique on students’ ability to write procedure text. This research used a quantitative method. There were two classes as the sample in this research which was taken randomly from 24 classes. One class was AKL 1 as experimental, there were 35 students, and the other class was AKL 2 as the control class, there were 35 students. In determining the sample, the researcher used cluster random sampling technique. In collecting the data, the researcher used a writing test. In analysing the data, the researcher used the t-test formula. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that ttest 6.66 and ttable = 1.67 with the significance 5% (0,05) and ttable =2.39 with the significance 1% (0,01). It means that ttest > ttable. So, Ha was accepted. This shows that there is any positive and significant influence of using freewriting technique on the students’ writing ability. The students who were taught through the Freewriting technique got a higher score than those who were not taught through Freewriting technique. The average score of the experimental class was 68.61 and the average score of the control class was 57.14.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: analysis of the impact of economic factors on parents with an interest in continuing their studies to college. The subjects of this study were students of class XII SMA/K throughout Purworejo Regency for the Academic Year 2021/2022. This research is a population study, so that all students of class XII are randomly assigned with a total of 100 students as research samples. The research design used is Ex-Post Facto because in this study the data obtained are data from the results of events that have taken place. The variable in this study is the parents' economy (X) while the independent variable is the interest in continuing their studies to college (Y). The technique of collecting data for parents' economic status and interest in continuing their studies in higher education is done by using technical technical questionnaires. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between the social status of students' parents and their interest in continuing their studies to class XII SMA/K in Purworejo district for the academic year 2021/2022 as indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.285. There are many things that influence students' interest in continuing their studies to college, but this study only involved one independent variable, namely the socioeconomic status of parents. From this, it is realized that there are many other factors during the COVID-19 pandemic that affect interest in continuing their studies to college.
