Abstract

Purwodadi sub-district has a surplus of dairy milk with a production of 25 tons of milk per day per KUD. There are 4 milk industry in Purwodadi sub-district as suppliers of PT Nestle. The problem is, dairy products are not entirely absorbed by the market, so it is necessary to look for breakthroughs in the distribution of dairy products that have an average price of IDR 8,000-13,000 per liter. Diversification of milk into fermented milk products will increase prices by five times, so that it is expected to increase people's income, because not only is the product variant increasing, but the market is also increasing. The result of the training shows that all participants experience a significant increase in knowledge, indicated by higher post-test result compared to the pre-test result. Another result known is that this probiotic-fermented milk can be used as a medium for a source of economic improvement for the family. This is proven when yogurt made by the community of Purwodadi has been sold among them as an additional drink during community meetings. Apart from that, this training will create a climate that enables the potential of the Youth Organization (Karang Taruna) and Family Welfare Program (PKK) to develop, namely to build group creative power by encouraging, motivating, and raising awareness of the potential of the village and efforts to develop it.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has hit all countries including Indonesia. Indonesia was hit by a pandemic starting in early March 2020. With this pandemic, Indonesia is required to be prepared for the potential spread of this virus. This is due to the geographical location of Indonesia which is directly adjacent to several countries affected by the spread of the Covid-19 virus as well as the development of globalization and increasingly smooth traffic between countries. One way to reduce the rate of spread of this virus is by implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) so that all activities in schools and offices are carried out in a work from home (WFH) manner. Learning activities cannot be carried out directly so that learning in this period utilizes existing technology so that students still understand the material. As one solution to improving the quality of learning, the program activities make a product in the form of a learning video that is very interesting and fun so that students don't feel bored when participating in distance learning

Abstract

The waste heap of Banyuwangi Regency in 2019 was ± 3,387 m3/day with an increasing trend over the last 10 years. It came from settlements, markets, parks, drainage, and other places, which only part of it could be transported to the landfill due to the declining capacity of the landfill. In addition, waste management services mostly only cover urban areas, while in rural areas are usually carried out on-site by people as did in Gitik Village, Rogojampi District. Waste management did traditionally and partly subscribing to waste transport services. Waste transported by the service is only dumped with an open dumping way, due to the unavailability of landfil facilities in Gitik Village. The existence of waste transport services has not been utilized by all the rural people, because some of them were constrained by the cost of waste service fees. As a result, many piles of household waste are still found in various places that cause environmental pollution. The most common complaint felt by the people regarding the impact of pollution is the pungent smell of waste which usually comes from household organic waste. The solution that can be done to overcome these problems is to process household organic waste into eco-enzymes. The eco-enzyme produced from this program can be used by people for many household activities including farming. In addition, environmental cleanliness can also be improved by reducing the amount of household organic waste that is disposed of around settlements.

Abstract

The development of Gunung Sari Indah as a new neighborhood creates an impetus for increased housing and street food. Street food vendors set up shop on strategic roads to sell their products, causing crowds and traffic jams that disrupt the comfort. As a result, the focus of this research is on how to design street food in public spaces. This research uses the questioner, interview, and field survey methods. The questionnaire and interview are held to learn about the seller's aspirations for layout setting and facilities that they expect. A field survey is required to learn about the existing conditions, such as road width, seller position, and products offered. Furthermore, the issue of COVID-19 should be considered to avoid the virus spreading in public places. As a result, the layout setting should be aware of new normal health protocols such as physical distancing, handwashing, and environmental hygiene. The street food layout setting will be formed by a color box mural with an area of one car parking lot 2.5 m x 5 m for one seller, resulting in a gap. Then, the East Road, which closes in the evening, will be the focus of street food. Nonetheless, signage is required for traffic management in order to reduce traffic congestion and provide comfort to visitors to this area.

Abstract

Sukorejo Village is a village located in Sumber Wringin District, Bondowoso Regency. Most of the residents work as agricultural laborers in the PTPN XII Plantation and a partial small as owners of the Arabica coffee plantations. The potential Arabica coffee waste belonging to the people, both solid waste and liquid waste, in each stage of the processing process is very large, but so far it is still very little used. Usually the coffee skin waste is only allowed to accumulate in the processing plant, causing an unpleasant odor and polluting the surrounding environment. The waste generated from the process of separating coffee skins from coffee beans (pulping process) in the form of biomass is very abundant, and few percent used for livestock feed and compost. One farmer group during the coffee harvest season (about 4 months) requires premium fuel of approximately 2 liters per day for the process of grinding coffee cherries into coffee powder. The waste generated from the process of separating coffee skins from coffee beans in the form of biomass is very abundant, and is only used a few percent for animal feed and compost. Therefore, to overcome the need for fuel, namely by utilizing coffee husk waste as a basic material for making bioethanol. Taking into account the above conditions, this service is carried out in Sukorejo Village, Sumber Wringin District, Bondowoso Regency, with the hope of increasing farmers' income by reducing the cost of purchasing fuel.
