Abstract

Education in the era of Society 5.0 requires an adaptive and high-quality learning approach to tackle multidisciplinary learning challenges. This research aims to analyze and evaluate the implementation of edutainment-based thematic learning strategies in the independent curriculum at MI Walisongo Pajomblangan as an effort to address multidisciplinary learning challenges in the Society 5.0 era. The research method used was field study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through obsevation, interviews and documentation at MI Walisongo Pajomblangan 01. The results showed that edutainment-based thematic learning in the independent curriculum at MI Walisongo Pajomblangan 01 was an effective solution for overcoming multidisciplinary learning challenges, allowing for interactive approaches, curriculum adaptation, and the development of students' social skills. Teachers utilized various edutainment strategies such as TGT, talking stick, and snowball using interactive multimedia. Through these strategies, students were facilitated to discuss and collaborate in groups to solve problems and were evaluated formatively and authentically to enhance active participation and understanding. Proactive steps were also taken by leveraging technology, teacher skill development, collaboration, and involving parents and the local community. It is hoped that the effectiveness of multidisciplinary learning continues to improve to prepare students to face global challenges.

Abstract

The research was conducted based on conditions that occur in the field, where students find it difficult to learn mathematics, especially the material weighs objects. This causes students not to respond to educators' questions during question-and-answer activities. In addition, digital-based learning media for these materials are not yet available. Therefore, researchers developed digital-based learning media in the form of wordwalls. The purpose of the study is to describe the analysis of the needs of digital-based learning media, the design and development of wordwall media, the feasibility of wordwall media, and the response of educators and students to the wordwall media that has been developed. The study was conducted using the ADDIE method. Data collection through observation, interviews, document studies, expert validation, as well as the response of an educator and 32 students to the developed media. The results of the analysis showed that digital-based learning media was needed, media design was carried out through wordwall and then validated by 2 experts obtaining feasible criteria with a percentage of material expert validation of 90.62% and 87.5% validation of media experts so that the developed wordwall media could be used in learning. Then the results of the questionnaire of student responses to the developed media obtained 93.82% results with very practical criteria. Thus, wordwall media on the material comparing the weight of objects in grade 1 elementary school is valid and very practical to use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to examined the influence of educational programmes on the rehabilitation and management of juvenile delinquents in Lagos State juvenile homes. The study adopted the descriptive survey research design. The population for the study comprised a total of 332 people. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 20 juveniles from each of the juvenile homes. The managers and members of staff of the two selected juvenile homes were selected using total enumeration sampling technique and this made a total of two managers and 33 members of staff. Three research instruments were used to collect data for the study. (i) An interview guide titled “Rehabilitation of Juvenile Delinquents” (RJD) (ii) An interview guide titled “Management of Educational Programmes in Juvenile Homes” (MEPJH) (iii) A questionnaire on the “Influence of Educational Programmes on Rehabilitation of Juvenile Delinquents” Percentage scores and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used to analyse the data collected. Results showed that majority of the respondents 77.5% alluded that educational programmes were made available at the juvenile homes also, 55% said that academic, counselling and vocational education were the only educational programmes available at the homes. Respondents claimed that the juvenile homes were managed by the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, the educational programmes and teacher recruitment were handled by the State Ministry of Education. The study concluded that educational programmes had positive and very notable influence on the rehabilitation of juvenile delinquents in Lagos State juvenile correctional homes. Based on the findings of this research, it was recommended among others that: Literacy and life skills training should be included as part of educational programmes in the juvenile homes. Expansion of available accommodation facilities to cater for current population of juveniles and also future increase and that in the Juvenile homes, the children offenders should be separated from those who have not committed offenses, those who are just in need of care and protection.

Abstract

Implementasi media pembelajaran inovatif POPANKA (Power Point, Papan Kata dan Kartu Gambar) pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di kelas IV SDIT Cahaya Permata. Dalam hal ini, dilatar belakangi oleh adanya permasalahan pada kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, khususnya terhadap media pembelajaran yang kurang diperhatikan untuk mendukung pemahaman konsep materi bahasa Inggris. Pada proses pembelajaran peneliti mengintegrasikan tiga media tersebut dengan permainan “Marina Menari” yang menjadikan kegiatan pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dan dapat bermakna bagi peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif studi pustaka dan studi lapangan. Sedangkan, pengumpulan data melalui beberapa tahap meliputi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan pengutipan referensi yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar. Dengan teknis analisis data kualitatif berdasarkan hasil wawancara, pengamatan dan studi lapangan kepada responden yang berjumlah 28 dari 31 peserta didik yang hadir di kelas IV Cahaya Permata. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa, pengimplementasian media pembelajaran yang inovatif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Each individual will go through a period of early adult development characterized by various types of life demands that are different from the previous stages. When entering early adulthood, individuals are required to explore careers, start   careers, invest in self-development, start family life and optimize life skills needed to achieve success. This study aims to describe the achievements of student development tasks in early adulthood which include aspects of religious life foundation, ethical behavior foundation, emotional foundation, intellectual foundation, responsibility awareness, social role as a man or woman, self-acceptance and development, economic behavioral independence, career insight and preparation, maturity of relationships with peers, and self-preparation for marriage and family life. The method used in research is quantitative descriptive with survey research design. Data collection is carried out with the Developmental Task Inventory (ITP) instrument which is then analyzed using a Development Task Analysis (ATP) application. The research sample consisted of 68 students. The results showed that the average level of developmental tasks was 6.71, which indicates the developmental level of individuality. From the results obtained, each aspect has a different level of development. However, these different levels do not mean that one level is better than the other. An overview   of the results of all aspects can be taken into consideration in evaluating and designing strategies to optimize student development.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials for smart kids worksheets on Pancasila based on local wisdom. This research is motivated by the lack of teaching materials in understanding Civics subjects on Pancasila material The method used is the Research and Development (RD) method using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The subjects in the study were grade 2 students at SD Negeri 1 Cisantana, Cigugur District, Kuningan Regency. The results showed that the smart kids worksheet teaching materials were very valid based on the calculation results of linguists with an average score of 90%, material experts with an average score of 92%, and media experts with an average score of 94%. The results of the practicality test of teachers obtained an average of 93.3%, and the results of trials carried out in small groups obtained 96.6% and in large group trials obtained a score of 95%, this indicates a high level of practicality in both groups. The results showed that the worksheet smart kids teaching materials developed with the ADDIE model were valid and practical to be applied to Civics learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the profile of the availability of learning media that supports improving numeracy skills in elementary and junior high schools in Tasikmalaya Regency and City and their use, using a qualitative approach, while the methods used are interviews and commentary studies. The research findings obtained are that several elementary schools and junior high schools in Tasikmalaya Regency and City have learning media that supports improving students' numeracy skills, the source comes from grants, schools rarely budget for purchasing media, and rarely even make their own media. However, unfortunately the existing media does not work optimally, because teachers are reluctant to use media and focus only on textbooks, even though all the sources interviewed said that the use of media in learning, especially in learning Mathematics, is very important.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools is influenced by, among other things, interactive learning experiences. Interactive learning involves the activities of all students with various characteristics. An interactive learning experience will support the successful learning outcomes of all students. In reality, teachers face a diversity of student characteristics, one of which is related to different cognitive abilities. The aim of this research is to determine the success of the learning outcomes of all students through the Lakaki "Lamp Our Cafe" Project. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) model by Kemmis Mc. Taggart is carried out in two planned cycles. The stages include planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this research were the sixth grade students at one of the state elementary schools in Sleman. The research was carried out by providing action in the form of a project to make decorative lamps using residual items found in the surrounding environment. The implementation of the Lakaki project carried out observations, interviews and documentation of student learning outcomes. The Lakaki project steps include: orienting students to problems, organizing students to learn, guiding individual/group investigations, developing and presenting results, analyzing and evaluating the problem solving process carried out in blended learning. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle 1 with method completeness of 57.15% and a class average of 72.00. Cycle 2 learning completion reached 100%, with an average final score of 94.18. This proves that the Lakaki project is an alternative learning method to meet the diversity of students, especially the diversity of different cognitive abilities.

Abstract

The purpose this research was motivated because students experienced obstacles in learning mathematics in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era which affected learning outcomes. In addition, student activities in playing online games cause students to have no motivation to learn. This study aims to produce a digital learning design, namely gamification-based flipped learning and determine its feasibility. The research method was carried out using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) in mathematics, especially the Building Space material in Class V. In this study, data were collected through questionnaires, which were then analyzed by using two paired sample t-tests. The results of this study stated that the learning tools developed were appropriate both in terms of the Lesson Plan (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and learning evaluation instruments as well as comparisons of learning outcomes before using gamification-based flipped learning and learning after using flipped learning-based learning. gamification so that the development of gamification-based flipped learning in mathematics learning is valid, practical, and can be used to overcome learning obstacles experienced by students

Abstract

The purpose of this study Problems of Parents in Accompanying Learning Activities at Primary school children to describe the problems of parents in assisting learning activities in elementary school children.This study aims to describe the problems of parents in assisting learning activities in elementary school children. This research is a qualitative research with the type of phenomenological research. Sources of data in this study were parents of third grade students at SD Negeri 45/1 Sridadi. Data collection techniques carried out in this study used observations, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed in several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and then conclusions were drawn and data verification. Testing the validity of the data is done by triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: The problems of parents in assisting children's learning activities are, first, parents who do not have time to accompany and guide children to study at home, because parents have other activities such as working and earning a living. Second, the lack of full mastery of the material by parents due to differences in the curriculum and also the minimal level of parental education that hinders and is less than optimal in guiding children. Third, difficulties in operating gadgets and providing internet quota for online learning. Fourth, parents have difficulty in increasing interest and growing motivation to learn in children because children who do not have the intention from within themselves to learn and also children play more often than learn. The conclusion obtained from this study is that parenting does not always run smoothly, but there are obstacles or problems with parents in assisting children's learning. From the results of the study, it is hoped that parents will be able to maximize their assistance in children's learning activities so that learning objectives can be achieved as expected.
