Abstract

The goal of this project is to provide a high-quality, contextually-based mathematics student worksheet product in mathematics topics that meets the highest standards for validity and specificity. With stages for definition, planning, development, and distribution, the development model used in this research was modified from a 4D model. Teachers and students in grade V at SD Negeri 33 Lubuklinggau participated in this study. Interviews and validity, practicality, and effectiveness questionnaires are the data gathering tools employed in the study. The Aiken's V formula was utilized for data analysis, encompassing the phases of instrument setup, expert evaluation, assessment collection, and score computation. The interview was conducted with the aim of obtaining information from student worksheet practicality teachers and expert validation questionnaires and practicality questionnaires for teachers and students as many as 20 people. With an average score of 0.77, the evaluation of linguists, material experts, and media experts revealed that they satisfied the valid requirements. Contextual teaching and learning-based mathematics worksheets of statistical materials meet the criteria of validity, practicality, and learner-friendliness; in the meantime, the results of the teachers' and students' practicality sheet assessment revealed that the contextual teaching and learning-based mathematics student worksheet met the practical criteria with an average score of 95.8%. Contextual teaching and learning-based learning through statistical materials offer educators a theoretical framework for creating various teaching materials. Additionally, it can serve as a means of conducting follow-up research on different subjects and educational levels at every school level.

Abstract

Assessment is very needed in learning. Assessment in the educational context is defined as a series of activities that include collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to determine the level of understanding and performance of students during the learning process. Without conducting an assessment, it is impossible for us to verify that the goals and objectives have been achieved. Each curriculum that is carried out by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia must have an assessment to assess students' abilities or achievements in their learning activities; the same goes for the Merdeka Curriculum. Therefore, this article aims to provide information and discuss assessment studies in the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools. This research is included in the category of qualitative research with library research methods by collecting and evaluating data from library sources that are relevant to the research topic. This research refers to books, articles, journals, and other appropriate sources. Based on research results from several journals, it is proven that by conducting assessment studies, student learning outcomes will reflect their respective competencies. The conclusions based on the results of the literature review carried out are that assessment is very important in the application of learning, especially in the Merdeka Curriculum. There are many examples in the Merdeka Curriculum, such as diagnostic assessments, summative assessments, and also formative assessments, all of which are equally useful for knowing the value or quality of students' absorbing the learning that has been given by the teacher to them.

Abstract

This research was conducted to provide insight into gender awareness in education. Particularly in the context of Indonesian language learning in primary schools. Through investigating the perspectives of parents, teachers and students as well as the practice of learning Indonesian in the classroom using non-discriminatory materials and learning environments without gender boundaries, this research seeks to contribute to building a more inclusive gender awareness in the educational environment. Survey, interview and observation methods of parents, teachers and grade 3 students were used to provide a comprehensive view of the understanding of gender awareness. The results show that although there is support for the concept of gender equality, parents' and teachers' understanding is still limited. Teachers do not fully understand the importance of gender awareness in learning. This issue is seen as not affecting inclusive learning. In fact, gender awareness is one part of it and teachers have a major role in building this perspective. Synergy is needed to improve parents', teachers' and students' understanding of gender issues in education. Teacher training and professional development, integration of gender equality values in the curriculum, and inclusive education for students can be the next steps to strengthen gender equality in education. Thus, this research provides new insights and contributions to advance gender awareness as a form of creating an inclusive learning environment, especially in primary schools.

Abstract

This research raises the problem of low critical thinking skills and student cooperation in science and science lessons in elementary schools due to learning that is not focused on students and the use of learning models is still lacking. This problem can be overcome by implementing a combination of learning models, namely the PERMATA model (Problem BasEd LeaRning, SAVI (SoMatic, Auditory, VisuAlization, dan Intellectually), dan Two Stay Two StrAy) and Wordwall Media. The aim of this research is to describe the improvements that have occurred in activities, critical thinking and collaboration skills, as well as the learning outcomes obtained by students. This research applies PTK research or classroom action research with fourth grade students at SDN Terantang 2 who act as research subjects. The method used is a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results of the research concluded that during the 4 meetings there was an increase in teacher activity with very good criteria, student learning activity increased from less active to very active, students' critical thinking and collaboration skills increased from less skilled to very skilled, and student learning outcomes increased. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the use of the PERMATA model and Wordwall media is effective in increasing activity, critical thinking and collaboration skills, as well as student learning outcomes. The results of this research are recommended as reference material for similar research in efforts to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.
