Abstract

This research comprehensively examined vocational school management and strategies for improving partnerships with DUDI. This research used qualitative research and data collection techniques used observation, documents, and interviews. Data analysis on individual cases with condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification used the N-Vivo tool. The research was at one vocational school in Blitar, Indonesia with informants from stakeholders at the school and industrial partners. The research site succeeded in establishing 14 partnerships recorded in the MoU, including joint activity programs, infrastructure utilization, program financing, and placement of graduates in the world of work. Partnership evaluation was carried out by monitoring the collaboration results, deliberation, adjustments to the MoU, consideration of student needs, and renewal to improve quality and collaboration.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze computational mapping on bibliometric data "Primary School Conflict Resolution as Peace Education" from the Google Scholar database via Publish or Perish software. Based on the research results, there were 950 relevant articles published from 2013 to 2023. The research results focused on three areas: the term conflict resolution, the term peace education, and the term primary school by showing the development of the number of articles, which experienced a significant increase from 2013 until 2017. The development of this research is starting to be published less frequently, as can be seen from the drastic decline from 2021 to 2023. Therefore, it can be said to be experiencing a decline. Through VOSviewer, this research analyzes many published articles related to the topic. The impact of this review is a starting point for conducting research on related topics in the future.

Abstract

Assessment application is essential because college students, as prospective teachers, must be able to assess students to find out the right treatment in the process of achieving learning goals. This research aimed to develop the STEM-based DIGASS application to improve college student assessment skills in the era of Society 5.0. This research used Research and Development (R&D) procedures with stages 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, and 4) design validation. The subjects of this research were college students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muria Kudus. The research instrument used digital assessment needs analysis, prototype development, and digital assessment prototype validation results data. The results of this research found that the STEM-based DIGASS application is feasible to use to determine college student assessment skills with average results in terms of Usability (4.07), Functionality (4.50), and Visual Communication (4.25).

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of work commitment and school climate on the teacher performance of public primary school. This research used a quantitative correlational associative type of method. The population was 117 primary school teachers. Samples were taken using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument used a Likert scale model questionnaire with a trial with a population of 20 students out of the sample. The test results showed that the instrument was valid. Research data were analyzed using the means to describe the data and test requirements, namely normality, homogeneity, and multicollinearity. Descriptive results of teacher performance were 89.09%, work commitment 86.88%, and school climate 75.91%. Data analysis showed an influence of work commitment on teacher performance of 12.6%, an influence of school climate and teacher performance of 10.1 and a significant influence of work commitment and school climate jointly on teacher performance of 34.4%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze (1) the performance of SMPN [state junior high school] teachers, (2) the principal's academic supervision, and (3) pedagogical competence. This research uses a correlational quantitative method with an associative type. The population is 165 teachers at SMPN. Meanwhile, the samples were taken using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument used a Likert scale model questionnaire. In addition, the test results show a valid. Next, the research data was analysed using the mean for data description, and test requirements, which are normality, homogeneity, independence, and linearity. The teacher performance results were 89.51%, academic supervision 85.00%, and pedagogical competence 79.66%. The results showed that the contribution of academic supervision to teacher performance was 13.10%. The pedagogical competence contribution to teacher performance was 16.60%, and the academic supervision and pedagogical competence contribution to teacher performance was 37.60%. The implications of the findings are also discussed.

Abstract

This research explored the impact of Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and Self-Confidence on the learning outcomes of short-distance running of athletics in Sports Education. It emphasized that quality learning depends on effective design, adequate facilities, and teacher creativity. The research method involved a quasi-experimental design, testing the influence of PjBL, PBL, and self-confidence on student learning outcomes. The results indicated significant differences in learning achievements based on the applied models. The PjBL and PBL models individually impacted on learning outcomes, with students exhibiting higher engagement and understanding. However, the combination of all three factors did not show a significant influence on learning outcomes. In conclusion, the research suggests that adopting innovative learning models, such as PjBL and PBL, along with fostering students' self-confidence, can enhance the learning experience in sports education.

Abstract

This research was quasi-experimental with a population of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 06 Lasi Mudo and SD Negeri 08 Kubang Duo, Canduang District. Research data was obtained from test results and questionnaires. In addition, data analysis indicated a significant difference in the ability to solve Fraction problems between the inquiry and conventional models. The results of data analysis using the two-way ANOVA test obtained a sig value of 0.04 < 0.05 indicated a significant difference in learning outcomes between the inquiry and conventional models in learning motivation, but for low motivation, the sig. of 0.746>0.05 concluded that there was no significant influence between the inquiry model and learning motivation. The test results of learning models and learning motivation on Fraction problem-solving abilities through the two-way ANOVA test obtained an f-count of 3.123 with an F-table of 4.034. It showed no interaction happened between inquiry, conventional learning models, and learning motivation in Fraction problem-solving abilities in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the problem-based learning  model and motivation on students' critical thinking ability in Natural and Social Science earning. The research method was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, adopting a nonequivalent control group design. The research was carried out at SD Negeri 13 Padang Gelanggang. The research population included all the 5th grade students, with the sample selected using random sampling techniques. The research subjects consisted of 18 students in the experimental class and 18 students in the control class. Data were collected through critical thinking ability tests and learning motivation questionnaires. The analysis results using the independent sample t-test and two-way ANOVA test showed that the problem-based learning model had a significant effect on increasing students' critical thinking abilities. It indicated that the critical thinking abilities of students who studied with the problem-based learning (PBL) model were better than those who studied with the conventional approach.
