Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in motivation and learning outcomes through the cooperative learning model types Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) and Group Investigation (GI) among grade X students at SMAN 2 Bulukumba. The type of research used is Quasi-Experimental with a Nonequivalent Control Group design. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The sample of this study consists of 2 classes: class X8 the experimental class I using the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model, and class X9 the experimental class II using the Group Investigation cooperative learning model. The study results show that (1) Based on the hypothesis test with t-test, the results show that the t-value of 2.138 is greater than the t-table value of 1.995, or 2.138 > 1.995, and with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.029, which is smaller than 0.05 or 0.029 < 0.05. From these data, it can be concluded that there is a difference in students' learning motivation through the Two Stay Two Stray learning model compared to the Group Investigation learning model. (2) Based on the hypothesis test with t-test, the results show that the t-value of 0.106 is less than the t-table value of 1.995, or 0.106 < 1.995, and the Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.916 is greater than 0.05, therefore, it can be concluded that there is no difference in students' learning outcomes through the Two Stay Two Stray learning model compared to the Group Investigation learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of a Learning Management System (LMS) to increase the effectiveness of Al-Qur'an literacy learning and analyze the role of technology in facilitating students' active participation in Al-Qur'an learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research using the library research method. The data collection technique is by examining theories from various book literature, journals, and research related to LMS and Al-Qur'an literacy that have been carried out. The sources were taken from books entitled Development of LMS SiCeria (Indonesian Smart Students) and AL-Qur'an Literacy: Tahsin-Tilawah Learning Model Based on Talqin Taqlid. The analysis technique goes through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and the final step drawing conclusions and verification. The results prove that the LMS for learning Al-Qur'an literacy is one of the innovations in learning Al-Qur'an which is quite effective in the current digital era. By utilizing the LMS feature which can be used to store and create material to be taught, collect student assignments, and share links to teaching media such as videos, teachers can also assess their students' assignments and access them online. The use of LMS in learning Al-Qur'an literacy is very dependent on teacher innovation and student enthusiasm. The results theoretically and practically contribute to teachers and lecturers increasing their innovation in presenting Al-Qur'an literacy learning through LMS. Apart from preparing infrastructure, increasing human resources by providing training for teachers to integrate this LMS in the Al-Qur'an literacy learning process must also be prioritized.

Abstract

One of today's common problems is the high unemployment rate, dominated by university graduates. The Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program emerges as a policy response to answering this problem by attempting to make a link and match between learning in higher education and the needs in the world of work. This study aims to investigate how the MBKM policy has been implemented in several universities in Central Kalimantan. The study was conducted using a qualitative method by taking loci in three large universities in Central Kalimantan. The results found that several problems hinder the implementation of the MBKM Program.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung di dalam Tradisi Pawai Khatam Quran di Nagari Pasia, Kecamatan Ampek Angkek Kabupaten Sumatera Barat. Fokus masalah adalah sudah menjadi tradisi bertahun-tahun di Nagari ini melaksanakan kegiatan syiar agama Islam, namun belum terdapat tulisan yang spesifik menggali nilai pendidikan Islam yang terkandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara Kualitatif melalui pendekatan Fenomenologis dengan teknik Purpossive Sampling melalui interaksi dan wawancara terhadap masyarakat sekitar, panitia khatam Quran, santri serta wali santri yang terlibat di dalam kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penulis menemukan terdapat 3 komponen yang mengandung nilai pendidikan Islam pada tradisi Pawai Khatam Quran di Nagari Pasia, Sumatera Barat diantaranya, Komponen Seremonial, Komponen Pakaian, dan komponen arak-arakan. Pada komponen seremonial nilai pendidikan Islam tersirat dari susunan acara yang sarat dengan pesan-pesan syiar agama Islam. Kedua, pada komponen pakaian penulis menemukan bahwa ragam pakaian yang dikenanakan sarat dengan nilai ibadah dan akhlak yang berlandaskan agama dan kearifan lokal. Ketiga, pada komponen arak-arakan penulis menemukan unsur-unsur yang terlibat memberikan makna pendidikan akhlak, terlihat dari peran dan bagian yang ditampilkan dari masing-masing peserta pawai yang terikat dengan nilai-nilai adat yang basandi syarak.

Abstract

This study uses the Japanese animated film "Grave of the Fireflies" (1988) as a case study to analyze the impact of war on humanity and food security. The film "Grave of the Fireflies" is important to observe from a humanitarian and food security perspective because it depicts in depth the tragic experiences of civil society during the war period, as well as highlighting the challenges faced by civil society in meeting basic needs such as the food crisis during the war. This article aims to conduct a descriptive analysis of the impact of war on humanity and food security in the film "Grave of the Fireflies". In this research, data was collected through two main sources. First, analyze the film by watching and observing the film and taking dialogue excerpts that are relevant to the research. Second, the analysis uses research data based on the Scopus database with the keywords "World War II", "Humanity", and "Food Security". Data collected from 446 journals from the Scopus database was analyzed using the Nvivo 14 plus application. The research results show that in the film "Grave of the Fireflies" there is a humanitarian impact of war, namely, the misery of civilians, loss of homes, and jobs, and deep fear. Meanwhile, the impact on food security is that countries tend to experience food crises during war. The impact of the war on food supplies was minimal and food became scarce due to limited access during the war. This causes malnutrition and even death.

Abstract

This research examines spiritual values in the posuo tradition of the Butonese people. The posuo tradition is a traditional ceremony for girls that marks the transition from adolescence to adulthood, carried out once in a lifetime. The approach and type of research used is a qualitative approach with library research. Data was obtained through relevant literature, including books, journals, articles, and research reports. The findings show that the posuo tradition contains four main spiritual values based on Notonegoro's theory, namely the values of beauty, truth, goodness, and religiosity. The value of beauty can be seen in traditional clothing and ceremonies, The truth value of implementing customs is by the teachings passed down from generation to generation and still refers to a combination of Islamic teachings and established customary rules., the value of goodness from ethical and moral education, and the value of religiosity from spiritual practices during ceremonies. This tradition not only functions as a means of self-cleaning but also as a medium for education and character formation which is important for Butonese women in living their adult lives.

Abstract

Nowadays, it has become a trust issue, about violence and sexual harassment in the Islamic boarding school environment. In addition to parenting patterns, a gender-fair approach is also an aspect that needs to be studied. This study aims to analyze the prevention of violence and a gender-equality approach in Muhammadiyah boarding schools in East Java. This research is a qualitative study. The subjects of the study were selected using a purposive method, they are the chief and caregivers of the boarding school in two Islamic boarding schools located in Sidoarjo Regency and Lamongan Regency, East Java. The research data collection technique was carried out using 3 (three) methods, observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The study showed that in terms of preventing violence, Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding schools use a parenting pattern strategy that prioritizes child-friendly principles, and minimizes physical punishment, with the concept of rahmatan lil alamin. Meanwhile, in terms of preventing sexual abuse, education is considered less massive and has not touched on the substantive realm across genders. Furthermore, a gender-fair approach is shown by equality in access to opportunities for male and female students in organizational leadership, as well as in the practice of preaching.

Abstract

As the oldest and largest tertiary institution in the Central Kalimantan region, Palangka Raya University (UPR) welcomes the policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) regarding Independent Learning Campus (MBKM). Since 2020, UPR has been aggressively socializing the MBKM policy to all faculties, units, and institutions at UPR. To ensure that MBKM activities at UPR are carried out well and produce quality output and outcomes, the Chancellor has established various policies about MBKM such as the Chancellor's Regulation on the Implementation of MBKM within Palangka Raya University, the Chancellor's Decree regarding Curriculum Guidelines for Supporting MBKM at UPR for 2022/2023, Chancellor's Decree regarding Implementation of UPR Collaboration Supporting MBKM Implementation, Chancellor's Decree regarding Technical Instructions for Implementing Learning in the Context of the MBKM Program at UPR. In 2023, UPR will form an MBKM study center which is under the organizational structure of the University Quality Assurance Institute. To encourage, accelerate, and facilitate the transformation of higher education, the Ministry of Education and Culture launched the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) for study programs and the Institutional Support System (ISS) program for its universities/institutions. In 2024, Palangka Raya University, in a competition grant proposal, succeeded in passing 1 ISS program and 2 PKKM programs for the Bachelor of Laws study program, Faculty of Law and Bachelor of English, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the relationship between the theological and Sufism thoughts of Shaykh Arshad al-Banjari, especially regarding the concept of twenty attributes and the sentence of tawhid. The study begins with a focus on Hidâyah al-Râshidîn al-Mustarsyidîn. This book, by the descendants of Shaykh Arshad, is attributed to Shaykh Arshad al-Banjari. Through the study of this book, it will be compared with his other works related to the study in the book. Therefore, the comparative method will be used in this study to analyze the relevance of the manuscript of Hidâyah al-Râshidîn al-Mustarsyidîn to the theological and Sufism thoughts of Shaykh Arshad al-Banjari contained in Kitab Ushûluddîn and Kanz al-Maʿrifah, especially related to the concept of the twenty attributes of Allah and the sentence of tawhid. The results show that Hidâyah al-Râshidîn al-Mustarsyidîn is the work of Shaykh al-Jauhari, not the work of Shaykh Arshad al-Banjari, but through this book, it can be assumed that he had a teacher-student relationship with Shaykh al-Jauhari and this book also serves as a link in Shaykh Arshad's theological and Sufism thoughts in Kitab Ushûluddîn and Kanz al-Maʿrifah which emphasize the tawhid of the twenty attributes of Allah and the dhikr of tawhid which is relevant to Imam Sanusi's book Umm al-Barâhin.

Abstract

Drug abuse and illicit trafficking remain pressing issues for Indonesia through 2024. This is evident from the increase in drug abuse prevalence in Indonesia by 1.73%, according to a National survey conducted in 2023. The widespread negative impacts make addressing this issue increasingly complex and multidimensional. Sleman has become one of the districts in Yogyakarta that receives special attention in this matter topic. Factors such as student migration, urbanization, and tourism development are the main drivers of the high risk of drug abuse in this area. BNNK Sleman is responsible for designing and implementing effective strategies to reduce and prevent drug abuse and illicit trafficking in the Sleman District. The primary goal of this study is to identify and analyze BNNK Sleman's strategies through the lens of Collaborative Governance. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with purposive sampling selected as the sampling method. Data were collected through three main methods: direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The comparison of observational and interview data reveals that the principles of inclusiveness, transparency, accountability, cross-sector collaboration, face-to-face dialogue, and trust-building have been integrated into effective strategies with varying degrees of success. Active community participation, the use of digital technology, and strong accountability are key elements of this strategy. This study highlights the importance of enhancing transparency and accountability through technology to improve public participation and the sustainability of cross-sector collaboration, while also providing significant insights into the implementation of Collaborative Governance at the local level.
