Abstract

This research discusses how ethnic diversity in the city of Sungai Penuh, Jambi, influences the legislative body in playing its political role. Through a case study approach, this research emphasizes the interaction patterns of legislative actors in the legislative process based on ethnic relations, and it conducts interviews to generate descriptive data to reveal the cultural diversity of ethnic groups and the political expression of the legislative institution in Sungai Penuh. The research findings indicate the presence of ethnic diversity in Sungai Penuh, including the Kerinci people (79.73%), Minang (15.73%), Javanese (2.13%), Malay (0.27%), Batak (0.27%), Chinese (0.13%), and Banjar (0.07%). In addition to the Kerinci ethnic group, which is the majority, other ethnic groups are also involved in the legislative institution, such as the Minang, Javanese, and Batak. The election of Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) members from different ethnicities in Sungai Penuh is driven by the support of the same ethnic group as the dominant voters (instrumentalist approach), as well as their significant role in the community. This affects the implementation of priority programs by DPRD, which tends to accommodate the interests of their constituents. Nevertheless, the combination of dominant and minority ethnic groups provides a variety of ideas and approaches in the dynamics of ethnic politics among legislative members.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia, especially at the elementary level, still faces big challenges, especially in terms of literacy and numeracy. This difficulty is more pronounced in remote areas, such as what happened at SD Negeri 3 MayongLor, Jepara. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) launched the Class 6 Teaching Campus Program to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students in these schools. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of implementing playing techniques, with a focus on improving students' literacy and numeracy skills and knowing the advantages and disadvantages of playing techniques in the Class 6 Teaching Campus program at SD Negeri 3 MayongLor. The research method used was quantitative and qualitative, involving 30 students as research subjects. Data was collected through observations, questionnaires, tests and documentation during the three months of program implementation. The results of the questionnaire show that 60% of students strongly agree that learning literacy and numeracy is fun, 66% of students strongly agree and agree that they are motivated to learn literacy and numeracy through playing techniques, 53% of students strongly agree and agree that they can master literacy and numeracy effectively and 51% Students strongly agree that they can master literacy and numeracy through digital-based play techniques.  It can be concluded that there is effectiveness in improving literacy and numeracy learning outcomes through techniques in the Class 6 Teaching Campus Program at SD Negeri 3 MayongLor.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with a low level of literacy and numeracy skills. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) continues to strive to realize a culture of literacy and numeracy and encourage Indonesian people to be able to improve literacy and numeracy skills. Literacy and numeracy are very important skills that are built early and practiced from an early age so that they like literacy and make children a fun habit. The method used in research is a qualitative approach, because researchers want to explore the development, application, and impact of learning media. The research took place at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surabaya. In data collection researchers use observation, interviews and documentation. Researchers use triangulation techniques to check the validity of the data in this study and activities in data analysis, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. This research is expected to contribute to the development of skills in facing 21st century education in the digital era, as well as produce scientific work that contributes to the development of science and technology.

Abstract

The growth and development of the fried chicken franchise business is increasing. Competition is also unavoidable. Business people need to develop and develop strategies so that the business can be sustainable. The research aims to find out the strategy used to develop the "Asik-Asik Friedchicken" fried chicken business using SWOT analysis and a business model canvas. Using qualitative methods through interviews and field observations with owners, employees and customers. The results of this research state that the fried chicken business "Asik-Asik Fried Chicken" can be developed using the SWOT matrix strategy. The strategy determined is strategy (SO) by establishing cooperation with new investors, strategy (ST) namely increasing product promotion, strategy (WO) namely adding a menu with various variants, both chili variants and processed chicken, strategy (WT) namely increasing quality services and changing packaging with packaging and equipped with attractive and trademarked brands. The results of the SWOT matrix can be carried out for business development through the business model canvas as strategy development (key factors), namely partners, activities, resources, product excellence, consumer relations, channels, market segmentation, costs/expenses, and income.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Pengaruh Profesionalitas dosen terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa 2) Pengaruh kualitas metode pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2023 sampai bulan Februari 2024. Pendekatan yang digunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif metode korelasional. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 200 orang yakni mahasiswa UMPR yang menempuh kuliah semester 3, 5 dan 7 tahun tahun akademik 2023/2024, sedangkan sampel sebanyak 102 Orang yang diambil menggunakan teknik proposional non random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner berupa angket tertutup dengan jumlah item pernyataan 37 butir dengan koefisien reliabilitas X1 sebesar 0.870 (reliabel) , X2 sebesar 0.930 (reliabel) dan Y sebesar 0.879 (reliabel) dengan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan (1). Profesionalitas dosen berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar, dilihat melalui uji hasil uji t Parsial dan model persamaan regresi nilai t variabel X1 = 3.656 dengan sig. 0.000 di mana < 0,05 maka X1 mempunyai pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap variabel dependen, yaitu Y (2) Penggunaan Metode Pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mahasiswa UMPR dilihat dari nilai t variabel X2 = 5.875 dengan sig. 0.000 di mana < 0,05 maka X2 mempunyai pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap variabel dependen (Y).

Abstract

According to the philosophy of constructivism, knowledge is constructed by humans through interaction with their environment. Learning through the environment is one of the effective ways to improve students' understanding, skills, and attitudes. Kelulut beekeeping in Tahura Sultan Adam Mandiangin is one of the environments that can be used as a source of IPS learning. This study aims to determine how kelulut beekeeping in Tahura Sultan Adam Mandiangin can be used as a source of IPS learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the study showed that beekeeping in Tahura Sultan Adam Mandiangin can be used as a source of IPS learning for class VII of the Merdeka curriculum, especially on the material of environmental diversity and environmental economic potential.

Abstract

This research aims to determine (1) the implementation of extracurricular activities and (2) the role of extracurricular activities in shaping students' social skills and achievements at SDN Keliling Benteng Ulu 2. The research method used a qualitative approach. Data collection methods used interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results show that students' social skills can be developed through Pramuka and Jumat Taqwa activities. These extracurricular activities positively influence students' social skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution. Furthermore, some students who have won school or regional competitions are those who are active in Pramuka extracurricular activities. This research emphasizes the importance of schools and teachers in providing a variety of extracurricular opportunities to meet the diverse interests and abilities of students. By actively participating in extracurricular activities, students can develop into individuals with high social competence and academic success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan nilai-nilai dasar perdamaian di sekolah dasar ramah anak serta melihat keefektifannya dalam upaya pencegahan bullying. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN Pajang IV Surakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan tiga guru kelas yaitu kelas 1, 3 dan 4. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilaksanakan dengan mengamati lingkungan sekolah, lingkungan kelas, dan hubungan antara guru dengan peserta didik. Wawancara dilakukan bersama kepala sekolah dan tiga guru kelas sebagai informan program sekolah ramah anak dan nilai-nilai dasar perdamaian. Dokumentasi dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data berupa dokumen sekolah ramah anak serta potret lingkungan kelas dan lingkungan sekolah. Lalu, data dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yaitu mengumpulkan data hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan cara memfokuskan data pada topik penelitian, Selanjutnya, data disajikan dengan mendeskripsikan sesuai topik penelitian dan dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian mengungkapkan implementasi nilai-nilai dasar perdamaian dalam pencegahan bullying belum maksimal dikarenakan pemahaman guru terhadap nilai-nilai dasar perdamaian rendah, sehingga penerapan nilai perdamaian hanya terfokus pada nilai toleransi. Pelaksanaan evaluasi juga tidak optimal karena dilakukan tanpa pedoman evaluasi dan hanya dilakukan dengan mengamati perubahan sikap peserta didik. Dalam penerapan program sekolah ramah anak telah termuat nilai-nilai dasar perdamaian namun belum diimplementasikan secara spesifik sehingga berpengaruh pada upaya pencegahan bullying di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Media video merupakan media yang mempunyai unsur suara dan unsur gambar yang berfungsi mengarahkan perhatian, mengatasi kesulitan belajar serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, realitas yang terjadi di MTs Hidayatul Muhajirin Palangka Raya sarana berbasis IT tidak dapat dimanfaatkan dengan baik, sehingga beberapa dari siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi khususnya pada mata pelajaran SKI. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media audio visual dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran SKI di kelas VIII MTs Hidayatul Muhajirin Palangka Raya ditinjau dari hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan proses pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen yang tergolong dalam True Experimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian “post-test only design”. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pada pengujian taraf keefektifan media pembelajaran diperoleh nilai N-gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 59,33% dan kelas kontrol hanya sebesar 3,64%. Maka, dari hasil uji hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti media video pembelajaran memberi pengaruh cukup efektif dibandingkan guru dan buku ajar sebagai media pembelajaran pada Materi Daulah Mamluk di kelas VIII MTs Hidayatul Muhajirin Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Budaya Belom Bahadat adalah norma yang diikuti oleh masyarakat Dayak di Palangka Raya. Ini adalah aturan perilaku yang mengharuskan anggota masyarakat untuk mengikuti sistem yang ada. Penelitian ini mencoba memahami bagaimana masyarakat Dayak beraksi, dengan menggunakan teori Max Weber dan Talcott Parson. Penelitian ini tidak hanya menggunakan kajian literatur, tetapi juga menggunakan kolaborasi dari hasil wawancara dan survey literature review. Beberapa kategori tindakan masyarakat Dayak menampilkan bahwa tindakan rasionalitas nilai yang mendominasi dalam tindakan masyarakat Dayak, walaupun tindakan rasionalitas instrumental, tindakan afektiva dan tindakan tradisional juga ada dalam masyarakat ini. Tindakan-tindakan ini, maka diketahui pula bahwa masyarakat mengikuti sistem sosial yang berlaku di tengah masyarakat. Dengan kata lain, anggota masyarakat-pun wajib mengikuti sistem yang berlaku di masyarakat tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Dayak cenderung bertindak secara rasional sesuai dengan nilai-nilai budaya mereka. Mereka mengikuti sistem sosial yang ada untuk menciptakan keseimbangan dalam kehidupan bersama manusia dan alam.
