Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has become a major driving force behind the transformation of higher education in Indonesia, particularly in developing students' strategic management competencies, where active engagement and critical thinking are essential. This study employed a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest–posttest design to evaluate the effectiveness of technology-enhanced learning that integrates a Learning Management System (LMS), strategic simulation, and gamification elements. The research instruments consisted of a strategic competency test based on business case studies, digital literacy and student engagement questionnaires, and classroom observation sheets. Quantitative data were analyzed using paired-sample t-tests and Pearson correlation analysis, while qualitative data were examined through student feedback. This study addresses a gap in the Indonesian higher education literature, which has predominantly focused on student motivation, satisfaction, or engagement without directly assessing measurable improvements in strategic management competencies. The findings reveal that the simultaneous integration of an LMS, digital simulations, and gamification significantly enhances students' abilities in business environment analysis, strategy formulation, decision-making, and performance evaluation, thereby providing a more practical and strategically oriented learning experience. The novelty of this study lies in proposing a systematic and integrated digital learning model that bridges theoretical concepts and practical application through interactive simulations and gamification. This research contributes academically by enriching the literature on digital higher education in Indonesia and offers practical implications for developing adaptive curricula and data-driven instructional designs that foster active student engagement in the digital era.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of accelerated development of digital technology that has fundamentally transformed consumer behavior and the competitive landscape of marketing strategies in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry, especially in the rice bowl startup business model that has a very high dependence on the digital platform ecosystem. The purpose of this study is to analyze in depth the influence of digital marketing strategies through the AISAS (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share) model framework on consumer purchasing decisions in the digital era. The method used is an explanatory quantitative approach by collecting data through distributing questionnaires to 133 respondents who have experience consuming rice bowl products, then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS- SEM) technique through Smart PLS software. The results of the study revealed that the AISAS model has a very significant and strong influence on purchasing decisions with an R² value of 0.978, which means that 97.8% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be accurately explained by these variables. Partially, the Attention variable emerged as the most dominant factor, followed by Interest and Search, while the Share variable showed a negative relationship of -0.169, indicating that content sharing behavior does not automatically drive an increase in direct purchasing decisions. In conclusion, strengthening visual appeal and easy access to information are the main keys to marketing success, although social engagement or experience sharing strategies still require in-depth evaluation to improve their effectiveness.

Abstract

Rapid development of digital technology requires startupreneurs to optimize marketing strategies to strengthen consumer loyalty, particularly in emerging industries such as 3D Laser services. This study aims to analyze the effect of DAGMAR based digital marketing, represented by Brand Awareness, Product Information Understanding, and Digital Content Attractiveness, on Product Interest and its implication for Purchase Loyalty in the 3D Laser startupreneur context. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) to examine the direct and indirect relationships among the research variables. The findings indicate that Brand Awareness, Product Information Understanding, and Digital Content Attractiveness have positive and significant effects on Product Interest. Furthermore, Product Interest has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Loyalty. The mediation test also confirms that Product Interest significantly mediates the relationship between the three independent variables and Purchase Loyalty. These results emphasize that Product Interest serves as a psychological mechanism connecting DAGMAR  based digital marketing strategies with longterm consumer loyalty. Enhancing Brand Awareness helps consumers recognize and recall the brand, while Product Information Understanding supports informed decision making through clear and relevant product details. Digital Content Attractiveness captures attention and encourages engagement through visual and interactive content. Practically, startupreneurs in the 3D Laser industry should integrate data driven digital marketing strategies to build stronger consumer relationships, encourage repeat purchases, and foster positive word-of-mouth for sustainable business growth.
