Abstract

In the current digital era, a brand requires various captivating ideas to convey a message to its audience. The rapid development of information presentation technology is evident with the presence of various media with their respective characteristics and advantages. Through promotional media, the public can receive clear information about products offered by a company or organization. With the increasing number of internet users, the exchange of information has become faster and easier, leading people to prefer communication through the internet as it facilitates communication without time, place, and distance constraints. This ease has led millions of people worldwide to interact using the internet, giving rise to the formation of social media sites. Alongside the evolution of information presentation, the use of motion graphics also provides its own allure as a promotional medium to the audience. Promotional media utilizing motion graphic techniques ensures that all presented information is quickly understood, as the information is conveyed visually and audibly. The creation of motion graphics has become an effective method for producing content for social media. The process of creating motion graphics for social media content involves collaboration among creative teams, graphic design, animation, and editing, making it the focus of research as a model for developing media applications. This design employs a qualitative descriptive research method with a SWOT approach to identify the main potentials to be highlighted. The objective of this design is to create a motion graphic capable of displaying information and attractive potentials for the Yeobo Toppoki brand so that the audience becomes familiar with the packaging and various variants of the brand.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang Sulaman Tangan Jopang Manganti Kecamatan Mungka Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota yang meliputi desain motif, pola hias, kombinasi warna dan teknik pembuatan sulaman tangan di Jopang Manganti. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) Bentuk desain motif di Jopang Manganti yaitu bentuk naturalis terdiri dari motif bunga mawar, melati, tulip, kupu-kupu. Bentuk dekoratif yaitu suntiang ameh. 2) Pola hias yang digunakan pada sulaman tangan di Jopang Manganti adalah pola hias tabur, pola hias pinggiran, pola hias bebas dan pola hias mengisi bidang. 3) Kombinasi warna yang dipakai pada sulaman tangan di Jopang Manganti adalah kombinasi warna harmonis, kombinasi warna komplementer. 4) Teknik pembuatan yang digunakan pada sulaman tangan di Jopang Manganti adalah teknik manual dengan macam-macam tusuk pada bentuk desain motif sulaman.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the effect of mordant mixture on the results of kenikir leaf  ecoprint.  The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to  describe  the  direction  of  color  names, clarity of motifs and the effect of mordant mixtures on ecoprint results. This research is  experimental  descriptive  quantitative  research  conducted  by  making  an  ecoprint with steam blanket technique with the combination of 3 mordants. The mordants used were alum, arbor, soda abu, sodium acetate and whiting. The natural motif used was kenikir  leaves  (cosmos  caudatus).  The  dye  used  is  secang.  The  type  of  data  in  this study  is  primary  data  with  data  collection  techniques  in  the  form  of  questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses frequency percentages and uses the SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution) Version 27.0 program. The color name direction of the leaves  using  a  mixture  of  alum,  arbor,  and  soda  abu  produces  an  olive  color.  A mixture  of  alum,  arbor,  and  sodium  acetate  produces  a  dark  brown  color.  The mixture of alum, arbor, and whiting produces a dark Olive Green color.  The results of  the  motif  clarity  test  with  a  mixture  of  alum,  arbor,  soda  abu  are  categorized  as clear, a mixture of alum, arbor, sodium acetate is categorized as clear while a mixture of alum, arbor, and whiting is categorized as unclear.

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF LOCAL MUSICAL IDIOM ESTABLISHING INTERKULTURAL SECTION IN THE STYLE PATTERN OF GENDANG DANGDUT KOPLOAbstractPenelitian ini difokuskan untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh musik lokal terhadap perkembangan permainan gendang dangdut koplo. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode fenomenologi dengan melakukan studi lapangan ke sejumlah praktisi gendang dangdut koplo di wilayah Solo Raya serta penelusuran data melalui virtual field work. Penulis mencoba melakukan analisis musikal pada pola permainan gendang dan menelusuri sumber pola permainan gendang pada idiom musikal sejumlah kesenian lokal dari beberapa wilayah budaya yang tersebar di Pulau Jawa. Pola permainan gendang dangdut koplo pada akhirnya terbentuk melalui pengaruh sejumlah idiom musikal kesenian lokal yang diolah melalui kreativitas praktisi dangdut koplo sehingga menghasilkan produk musikal yang membentuk ruang antar budaya.AbstractThe following research focused to explain about the influence of local music for developing of drum pattern of dangdut koplo. This research used phenomenology as approach also filedwork activity and depth interview with dangdut koplo’s musician around Solo City and collecting data by virtual fieldwork. The research analyzed of musical material between the dangdut koplo’s drum pattern with  the other pattern both local or traditional musical expression who spread variously around island of Java. The analyzed carefuly showing that the style of drum pattern of dangdut koplo was formed by musician who inspired, influenced, and stimulated through idiom of local music, constructing musical expression who establish of intercultural section

Abstract

Meranti district community consists of a variety of ethnic groups, including Melayu, Tiong hoa, Minang, and others. One of the tribes that still exists in Meranti district is Asli Tribe. Asli Tribe has numerous arts that flourish and develop in their culture. The art that exists in Asli Tribe is Joget Bontek dance, Joget Bontek is a dance of joy and entertainment that is usually performed at wedding receptions, circumsicion ceremonies, welcoming guests, and others. Joget Bontek dance is comprised of dance movements, floor patterns, music, dynamics, themes, makeup and costumes that combined, make Joget Bontek dance become more interisting. To obtain accurate and precise data, the author uses analysis descriptive method using qualitative data. Data collection techniques in this research using non-participan observations, guided interviews, documentation using camera to take photographs and recordings of Joget Bontek dance in an effort to strengthen the research results obtained from secondary sources.

Abstract

This article explores the philosophical aspects of Al-Farabi in the development of a music art training model, aimed at assisting high school Art and Culture teachers in understanding and teaching digital music notation. Al-Farabi, a great philosopher from the Classical Islamic period, offers valuable insights into education and learning, which are applicable in the context of music art teaching. The article elucidates how Al-Farabi's views, particularly on ethics, morality, and happiness, can be integrated into a training model based on Computer Support Collaborative Learning (CSCL) to enrich the art teachers' learning experience. Furthermore, it provides an overview of how digital music notation can be implemented in high school cultural arts education and why this approach is relevant in the rapidly evolving context of music education. This article is expected to serve as a guide for developing a holistic and philosophical training model in music art education, focusing on understanding digital music notation and applying Al-Farabi's philosophical principles in the learning process. Additionally, this research highlights the importance of integrating technology in art education, demonstrating how digital approaches can broaden the horizons of music art learning. Moreover, the article seeks to prove how teaching methods inspired by Al-Farabi's thoughts can enhance students' creativity and conceptual understanding in music art.

Abstract

AbstractThe rise of news on the handling of Covid-19 in the Situjuah Batua Nagari Government, Situjuah Limo Nagari District, Limapuluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra in various electronic media has sparked the author's curiosity to take a deeper look at its culture and history. Nagari's efforts in dealing with COVID-19 are considered more responsive so that it is deemed successful in adapting to the current pandemic conditions. The Nagari's ability to optimize existing local resources and wisdom is thought to be the source of this success. This research aims to explore local wisdom that supports the social institutions of the Situjuah Batua community in dealing with COVID-19. Furthermore, this research seeks to identify local wisdom that affects the community and develop strategies to raise awareness about efforts to deal with and prevent COVID-19. This research uses a qualitative method with an observation and interview approach related to handling COVID-19. Local wisdom (togetherness; cooperation; deliberation; commitment to customs and tools) in Nagari Situjuah Batu mobilizes all components or elements in Nagari to make behavioral changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, behavior change is one of the determining factors for successfully handling the Covid-19 pandemic in Nagari Situjuah Batua

Abstract

Social communication in the world of dance is an essential element in societal life. It not only facilitates the exchange of information and ideas but also builds and maintains social relationships within the arts. However, to ensure effective communication, it is necessary to address various challenges such as communication gaps and message distortion. A better understanding of social communication can help individuals and communities interact more effectively and harmoniously. Dance communication is an effective and powerful way to convey complex messages, emotions, and ideas. Through various mediums, artists can interact with their audience and build deep understanding and appreciation. However, to achieve effective communication, challenges such as diverse interpretations and cultural gaps must be addressed. Thus, art can continue to play a vital role as a communication tool in society. The creative industry is an economic sector focused on the creation and exploitation of intellectual and artistic works. It is a dynamic and rapidly growing sector that plays a significant role in the modern economy. By harnessing creativity and intellectual skills, this industry not only generates substantial economic value but also makes a significant contribution to cultural identity and innovation. However, to reach its full potential, various challenges such as intellectual property rights protection, funding, market access, and education need to be addressed. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan guru dalam mengajar SBdP materi seni rupa di kelas IV SDN 2 Ngembal Kulon serta mencari solusi yang dapat mendukung kelancaran proses pembelajaran. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan utama meliputi keterbatasan sarana, media, metode, waktu pembelajaran, dan penilaian yang subjektif. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup pengembangan profesional guru, penggunaan media kreatif, serta penerapan metode yang interaktif dan sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar serta menjadi referensi bagi guru dan pemangku kepentingan dalam menghadapi tantangan serupa.

Abstract

The Research on Preserving Cultural Heritage through Oral Tradition is of utmost importance, as the research represents an effort to maintain the cultural identity of the Kumun Debai District in the City of Sungai Penuh. The focus of the research is the role of folklore in preserving the oral tradition in the Kumun Debai District, through an in-depth understanding of proverbs, folktales, traditional songs, and other oral practices. The research aims to document, analyze, and comprehend the role of folklore in preserving the cultural heritage through oral tradition in the Kumun Debai District. This will help maintain the local cultural identity, prevent the loss of oral traditions, and ensure the preservation of local cultural values, which will be passed on to future generations. The study employs the theory of folklore in the context of preserving cultural heritage through oral tradition. The theory focuses on the in-depth understanding of proverbs, folktales, traditional songs, and other oral practices as an integral part of the cultural identity of a community. The use of the "Gerald C. Miller" theory emphasizes the importance of understanding and preserving oral traditions as an inseparable part of a community's cultural identity. Through this approach, the primary objective of the research is to explore the meaning, values, and functions of the oral heritage within the context of the community's life, and how this heritage can be safeguarded to remain relevant in the modern era.
