Abstract

Global transitions toward a green economy require the younger generation to develop awareness of environmentally friendly occupations, commonly referred to as green job awareness. However, data from the 2023 Agricultural Census indicate that youth interest in the agricultural sector in Madiun Regency remains critically low, with only 1% participation among individuals aged 15–24 years. This condition highlights the urgency of developing educational strategies that align with the characteristics of Generation Z, who are widely recognized as digital natives with strong visual and technological learning preferences. This study aimed to develop and examine the effectiveness of Ethno-Cinema Education media in enhancing green job awareness among Generation Z. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The developed products comprised two educational videos: (1) a documentary video presenting local green job practices in Madiun Regency, and (2) an instructional video explaining the concepts and various types of green job professions. The effectiveness of the developed media was tested using a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 58 senior high school and vocational school students in Madiun Regency. Data were analyzed using a paired-sample t-test. The results revealed a significant difference between pre-test scores (M = 76.71; SD = 9.13) and post-test scores (M = 77.88; SD = 9.31), with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that Ethno-Cinema Education media is effective in increasing students’ awareness of environmentally friendly occupations. This study contributes to the development of innovative career guidance services that integrate cultural values and digital technology in a contextual manner. The findings further suggest that an educational cinema-based approach incorporating local wisdom can serve as an effective strategy for fostering environmentally conscious career awareness among adolescents and Generation Z.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan perilaku kebosanan antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan selama proses pembelajaran di SMK se-DK Jakarta. Kebosanan merupakan aktivitas individu yang dilakukan secara monoton/berulang-ulang serta kurangnya kebermaknaan terhadap sesuatu, sehingga menimbulkan perasaan tidak nyaman. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif yang bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan antara dua atau lebih perilaku dari satu variabel maupun beberapa variabel secara bersamaan. Tujuan utamanya adalah mengidentifikasi perbedaan yang terjadi pada berbagai situasi, kejadian, aktivitas, atau program melalui penggunaan analisis statistik. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis Uji Mann-Whitney U digunakan sebagai alat untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat kebosanan (kebosanan) yang didasarkan pada perbedaan jenis kelamin. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa-siswa yang bersekolah di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri dan Swasta yang tersebar di wilayah DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini meneliti tentang aspek-aspek dari kebosanan itu sendiri, yang meliputi: lepas dari keterlibatan, kewaspadaan tinggi, kewaspadaan rendah, kurang perhatian, serta persepsi waktu. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkat perilaku kebosanan (kebosanan) antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa siswa laki-laki cenderung mengalami kebosanan lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa perempuan. Temuan penelitian ini memilki kontribusi sebagai assemant kebutuhan oleh guru Bk disekolah sebagai dasar untuk merancang layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang lebih tepat sasaran, serta mengembangkan strategi intervensi yang efektif dalam mengatasi kebosanan belajar. Implikasi penelitian ini diharapkan kepada pendidik sebagai acuan dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih variatif dan interaktif. Hal ini bertujuan menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, menantang, dan kontekstual, sehingga dapat: meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, membangkitkan motivasi siswa, mengembangkan kemandirian peserta belajar, Dengan demikian, lingkungan belajar diharapkan mampu meminimalkan kebosanan dan memaksimalkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar kegiatan akademik.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology does not always produce positive outcomes for university students. One emerging negative behavior is cyberloafing, defined as the use of internet access for non-academic purposes during learning activities. Self-control and learning motivation are considered important psychological factors that may help reduce cyberloafing behavior among students. This study aimed to examine the mediating role of learning motivation in the relationship between self-control and cyberloafing behavior among students of the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Medan Area. A quantitative research approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The sample consisted of 254 students selected through purposive sampling with the assistance of the Slovin formula. Data were collected using three instruments: a self-control scale, a cyberloafing behavior scale, and a learning motivation scale. The results indicated that self-control had a significant negative effect on cyberloafing behavior (β = −0.248, p < 0.05), learning motivation also had a significant negative effect on cyberloafing behavior (β = −0.252, p < 0.05), and self-control had a significant positive effect on learning motivation (β = 0.754, p < 0.05). Furthermore, learning motivation was found to significantly mediate the effect of self-control on cyberloafing behavior (β = −0.190, p < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that higher levels of self-control and learning motivation are associated with lower levels of cyberloafing among university students. This study highlights the importance of strengthening students’ self-control and learning motivation as effective strategies to reduce cyberloafing behavior in academic settings.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of peer counseling services in improving self-confidence and self-acceptance among female students who are victims of bullying in Islamic boarding schools. This research applied a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design with 15 participants selected using purposive sampling. The intervention consisted of six consecutive sessions of peer counseling. Research instruments included a validated self-confidence scale and a self-acceptance scale. The data analysis using paired sample t-test showed significant increases in both self-confidence (p = 0.017) and self-acceptance (p = 0.002) after the peer counseling intervention. The findings indicate that peer counseling is an effective intervention to enhance the psychological well-being of bullied female students in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

The development of information technology has transformed social interaction patterns through social media platforms, creating digital aggression phenomena such as cyberbullying and doxxing among adolescents. This study analyzes the influence of doxxing on cyberbullying behavior considering gender factors from forensic psychology perspective. Using cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 577 high school students aged 15-18 years in Gorontalo Province through stratified random sampling. Research instruments included doxxing questionnaire and Cyberbullying in Social Media Scale analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square. Results show doxxing significantly influences cyberbullying in both genders with stronger effects in males, though gender moderation was not statistically significant. From forensic psychology perspective, this study contributes to developing integrative models for digital crime scene analysis and recommends intervention protocols addressing doxxing as gateway behavior.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of workload on subjective well-being among young ustadz and ustadzah working in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Using a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis, this research involved 276 respondents aged 18–29 years who were actively teaching in various pesantren across Indonesia. Data were collected using validated measurement instruments, including the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS), the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) based on Diener’s theory (2018), and a workload scale developed based on Gawron’s theory (2018). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 27, encompassing validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, and Pearson product–moment correlation analysis. The results indicated that workload had a positive and significant relationship with subjective well-being (r = 0.520, p < 0.001). This finding suggests that higher workload is associated with higher levels of subjective well-being when work is perceived as meaningful and interpreted as a form of devotion. Within the pesantren context, spiritual meaning and religious values play a crucial role in transforming work pressure into a source of psychological satisfaction and happiness. These results highlight the importance of value-based work environments in shaping positive psychological outcomes. This study contributes to the development of positive psychology, particularly in enhancing the understanding of well-being within religious-based work settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas strategi philosophical dispute bermuatan nilai-nilai stoisisme dalam mereduksi agresi permusuhan pada siswa SMP. Pendekatan Rational Emotive Behavior (REB) dipadukan dengan nilai-nilai stoisisme diimplementasikan untuk membantu siswa mengganti keyakinan irasional dengan keyakinan yang lebih rasional dan adaptif. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test and post-test. Subjek penelitian adalah 5 siswa dengan tingkat agresi permusuhan tinggi. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket agresi permusuhan yang disebarkan pada saat pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistic paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini  menunjukkan bahwa strategi philosophical dispute bermuatan falsafah stoisisme efektif dalam mereduksi agresi permusuhan pada siswa. Nilai-nilai stoisisme seperti kebijaksanaan, keberanian, keadilan, dan pengendalian diri turut berperan dalam memperkuat restrukturisasi kognitif dan pembentukan karakter remaja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of parental support and spiritual intelligence on the Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) ability of SMAIT Hidayah Klaten students. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires filled out by 155 students selected by purposive sampling. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that parental support and spiritual intelligence simultaneously had a significant effect on SRL (F count = 62.367; p = 0.000), with a contribution of 45.1%. Partially, both variables also exerted a significant positive influence (parental support: t = 5.240; p = 0.000; spiritual intelligence: t = 5.459; p = 0.000). These findings indicate that a supportive family environment and the development of spiritual intelligence can increase students' independence in managing learning and form more responsible characters. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of collaboration between schools and parents and the integration of spiritual values in the curriculum to optimize students' SRL. This study makes an important contribution to the development of a holistic learning model in faith-based schools.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the relationship between parenting stress management and the level of parenting stress among young parents. The research sample consisted of 100 young mothers living in Luwu Regency, aged a maximum of 30 years, having children aged 0–6 years, and currently in a marital relationship. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The instrument used to measure parenting stress management was the Coping Orientation to Problem Experienced (COPE). The parenting stress variable was measured using the Parental Stress Scale (PSS). Statistical data analysis employed Pearson’s product–moment correlation analysis. The results showed a negative relationship between the two variables, meaning that the better the parenting stress management of young mothers, the lower the level of parenting stress experienced. Conversely, poorer parenting stress management was associated with higher levels of parenting stress. This finding was supported by a correlation coefficient of (r = −0.625) with a significance value of (sig. = 0.000).

Abstract

Grief in children is a complex psychological experience that may significantly affect learning concentration, emotional regulation, and social interaction within the school environment. When not adequately addressed, unresolved grief can hinder children’s academic performance and psychosocial development. This study aimed to describe the level of grief experienced by elementary school students at SDN 3 Cikijing and to examine its implications for guidance and counseling services in schools. A quantitative descriptive research design was employed involving 90 students from grades IV to VI, consisting of 25 fourth-grade students, 30 fifth-grade students, and 35 sixth-grade students. Data were collected using the Grief Cognition Questionnaire for Children (GCQ-C), developed by Spuij et al. and adapted into Indonesian. The GCQ-C assesses negative cognitions and perceptions related to grief, providing a cognitive perspective on children’s bereavement experiences. The results indicated that 66.66% of students experienced a moderate level of grief, 17.77% experienced a high level of grief, and 15.55% experienced a low level of grief. Additionally, two students with the highest GCQ-C scores were identified as special cases for further analysis. The predominance of moderate grief suggests that although most students do not exhibit severe grief symptoms, they still face difficulties in managing negative thoughts and emotions associated with loss, which may influence their academic engagement and social relationships. These findings highlight the need for both preventive and curative guidance and counseling interventions in elementary schools. The study recommends the application of Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy (PCEAT) as an appropriate intervention, as it provides a safe and supportive space for children to express emotions through creative activities, enhance self-understanding, and foster psychological resilience during the grieving process.
