Abstract

This research is motivated by the understanding of students' mathematical concepts in the learning process which is still low. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of learning models on students' understanding of mathematical concepts and to determine whether there is an effect of students' academic ability level on students' understanding of mathematical concepts in Phase F IPA MAN 1 Padang Pariaman. This type of research is posstest-only control group design. This study uses the one-sample kolmogorof-smirnov method to determine whether the data under study is normally distributed. The data analysis technique in this study is the ANCOVA Test with the help of SPSS 22.0 Windows. From the results of the ANCOVA Test calculation, the sig value = 0.000 is obtained which means sig <0.05 then H_0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the learning model on the understanding of mathematical concepts of Phase F science students MAN 1 Padang Pariaman. For the level of students' academic ability, sig < 0.05 is obtained, so it can be concluded that the level of students' academic ability affects the understanding of students' mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Perilaku tantrum merupakan kesulitan individu dalam mengontrol emosi yang dirasakannya sehingga individu akan mengaplikasikannya dengan emosi marah atau menangis yang diluar dari batas normal. Perilaku tantrum sendiri sering terjadi pada anak usia dini, hal ini dikarenakan anak belum mampu mengontrol emosi yang mereka rasakan. Penelitian ini sendiri memiliki tujuan untuk emndeskripsikan perilaku tantrum dan strategi yang digunakan guru untuk membantu anak dalam mengontrol emosinya sehingga intensitas tantrum anak tidak lama dan terlalu sering. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Dalam hal ini yang akan menjadi subjek penelitiannya adalah guru dan kepala sekolah di RA Bahrul Ilmi Padang Sidempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh tiga stretegi yang sering digunakan guru untuk meredakan perilaku tantrum pada anak yaitu bercerita, menasehati, dan mengalihkan pemikiran anak pada hal yang menyenangkan. Namun strategi yang paling sering digunakan oleh guru adalah menasehti anak jika sudah memukul teman dan melempar barang disekitarnya.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi memberi akibat besar bagi kehidupan manusia dan memiliki peran penting pada banyak aspek kehidupan, salah satunya ialah aspek pendidikan terutama pada bahan ajar yang digunakan. Bahan ajar yang saat ini digunakan pada MAN 2 Solok Selatan masih menggunakan buku paket serta belum mampu membuat peserta didik belajar secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan E-Modul berbantuan flip pdf profesional pada materi perbandingan trigonometri di MAN 2 Solok Selatan yang valid. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research & Development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Plomp. Tahapan yang digunakan dalam model pengembangan ini adalah preliminary research, prototyping phase, dan assessment phase. Instrumen yang digunakan pada tahap preliminary research adalah angket karakteristik peserta didik, pedoman wawancara dan angket observasi. Instrumen pada tahap prototyping phase adalah angket evaluasi diri dan lembar validitas. Instrumen pada tahap assessment phase adalah lembar praktikalitas dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa E-Modul berbantuan flip pdf profesional pada materi perbandingan trigonometri yang dikembangkan diperoleh hasil validitas E-Modul sebesar 93,6% dengan kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-Modul berbantuan flip pdf profesional pada materi perbandingan trigonometri di MAN 2 Solok Selatan dinyatakan valid untuk digunakan pendidik dan peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The moral and social crisis in elementary school students is a serious concern in the world of education. Attitudes such as disrespectful behavior towards parents and teachers, bullying cases, and low social empathy reflect moral degradation that requires deep handling. This article aims to analyze the causes of the moral and social crisis in elementary school children and offer solutions through the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) approach. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis and observation methods, identifying factors such as changes in family parenting, the influence of the social environment, and the lack of moral learning in schools. The results of the study show that the PAI approach, through the cultivation of monotheistic values, noble moral education, and role modeling, can be a strategic solution to build moral and empathetic children's character. In addition, collaboration between schools, parents, and the community is an important key in instilling moral values consistently. This article recommends strengthening the PAI curriculum, teacher training, and the use of positive technology as concrete steps in overcoming the moral and social crisis. Thus, Islamic religious education has a central role in shaping a moral, inclusive, and competitive generation in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a preliminary investigation on the development of a spice plant booklet used in traditional Pariaman cuisine as a supplementary learning resource for Biology in Phase E. Data were collected through initial observations regarding the potential use of the booklet in the learning process. The study was conducted to assess the relevance of the information in the booklet to Biology topics, particularly biodiversity and the benefits of spice plants. The results, based on a survey of students, indicated that 88.6% of the learners primarily use textbooks as learning sources, showing a lack of variation in learning media. This highlights the need for media that can facilitate students' understanding of biodiversity. Additionally, 90.9% of students strongly agreed with the development of a spice plant booklet containing local potential. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the development of a spice plant booklet for traditional Pariaman cuisine is necessary as a supplementary tool for Biology learning in Phase E.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain information regarding the application of cultural and civic literacy to students in the Pancasila Education subject at Supriyadi Elementary School, especially class 2B. In learning Pancasila education, cultural and civic literacy has a very important role because cultural and civic literacy involves understanding local, national and global culture, as well as understanding the rights and obligations of being an active and responsible citizen. To be able to create and develop cultural literacy in learning Pancasila education, teachers need to create learning conditions that involve student activity. The method used in this research is field observation and interviews. Data was obtained through observation and interviews and then concluded. Data processing and analysis was carried out qualitatively with descriptive explanations. From the research results, it is known that the implementation of cultural and civic literacy in class 2B Pancasila education subjects at Supriyadi Elementary School has been carried out well. The implementation of cultural and civic literacy in Pancasila Education subjects is concluded from 4 indicators of cultural and civic literacy, namely: 1) understanding the complexity of culture and citizenship, 2) knowing one's own culture, 3) knowing the obligations of citizenship, 4) Cultural Care that has been implemented. divided into 5 categories of activities, namely familiarization activities, development activities, learning activities, activities to optimize the development of students' rights and obligations, and enrichment activities.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling are activities that are closely related to everyday human life, where every individual, including students, faces various problems. In the school environment, the role of guidance and counseling teachers is very important in helping students overcome academic and personal problems. SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur is the focus of this study to analyze the implementation of guidance and counseling and the challenges faced in its implementation. This study aims to describe the implementation of guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze problems that often arise in the implementation of guidance and counseling services at the school. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research informants consisted of guidance and counseling teachers and a student who had consulted. The results of the study showed that one of the main problems in the implementation of guidance and counseling is the perception of students who consider guidance and counseling teachers as peers. This affects the effectiveness of the services provided, thus impacting the quality of guidance received by students. Guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur requires more attention to understanding the role of guidance and counseling teachers so that the relationship that is established remains professional and effective in solving student problems.

Abstract

 Abstrak. Perkembangan teknologi membuat berbagai bidang kehidupan segala aspek kehidupan tidak terlepas dari sentuhan teknologi dengan segala kemudahannya. Namun, setiap hal baru yang tercipta selalu terdapat konsekuensi baru juga yang mengiringinya. Salah satu konseskuensi yang perlu dihadapi adalah kejahatan cyber. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menegimplementasikan sistem keamanan jaringan dan memonitoring jaringan jika terjadi serangan dan request time out pada jaringan yang ada di Kampus 1 SMK  Muhammadiyah 1 Padang saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode port knoking dengan model pengembangan PPDIOO. Penelitian implementasi cyber security dengan menggunakan metode port knoking dengan model pengembangan PPDIOO yang terdiri dari 6 tahap,yaitu Persiapan(prepare), Perencanaan (Plan), Desain (Design), Implementasi (Implement), Operasi (Operate), Optimasi (Optimize). Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada saat pelaksanaan implementasi yang didapat dengan melakukan pengujian yaitu status port 22 dalam keadaan tertutup, dari 5 kali pengujian yang dilakukan status port 22 100% dalam keadaan tertutup. pengujian ini juga dapat membuktikan keberhasilan dalam implementasikan metode port knoking pada server.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and analyse the efforts made by the head of the school to improve the discipline of teachers' presence in primary schools. Research results show that the increased discipline of teacher attendance is influenced by a combination of strict rules, motivation, and coherence of the head of school. In addition, effective communication between teachers and the head of school and the involvement of teachers in the decision-making process also contribute to improved discipline. The results of this study show the importance of the role of the head of school in creating a good school environment and encouraging the professionalism of teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of writing skills in descriptive texts using picture cards among seventh-grade students at SMPN 27 Medan. This research uses the classroom action research method conducted over 2 cycles. In this research, there are stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments used are an activity observation sheet and a writing test for descriptive texts using picture cards as media. The research results show that the use of picture cards is effective in improving the descriptive writing skills of seventh-grade junior high school students. The improvement is evident in various aspects, such as the clarity of descriptions, text structure, vocabulary usage, as well as the cohesion and coherence of the text. Students also become more motivated to write because the learning feels more engaging and interactive.
