Abstract

The use of technology in the classroom has revolutionized the teaching process by giving educators more freedom and opportunities to differentiate instruction. The purpose of this research is to critically assess a variety of technological approaches that were particularly chosen for their compatibility with and ability to improve on existing assessment for learning practices. The underlying viewpoints are that (a) summative and formative evaluations are both important learning opportunities, and (b) utilizing technology can improve learning throughout evaluation and feedback processes. The research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR). A literature search was conducted through academic databases, such as PubMed, ERIC, and Google Scholar. The benefits and downsides of employing technology are evaluated using research from a research study through literature. It is said that the usage of various forms of technology can aid in the facilitation of efficient assessment for learning and feedback in higher education by adopting a flexible strategy and taking tiny incremental steps. In a supportive learning environment, where a staff-student approach can be particularly helpful, trust between students and staff can help innovative methods succeed.

Abstract

Language sound errors at the phonological level. Phonemes or language sounds in Indonesian consist of vowels, consonants, diphthongs 'double vowels', and clusters 'consonant groups'. Differences in phonemes will change standard language varieties into non-standard ones. Phonological problems occur because vowel, consonant or diphthong phonemes change into other phonemes, thereby changing standard language into non-standard ones. This research aims to analyze language sound errors, namely deletions, additions and changes in vowel phonemes, consonant phonemes, combined vowel phonemes and combined consonant phonemes. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique for this research is by listening and using the language watched in Indonesian television advertisements. This data analysis technique consists of (1) data collection (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation (4) interesting conclusions. The results of data analysis of Indonesian language sound errors in Television Advertisements are language sound errors in Indonesian consisting of vowels, consonants, diphthongs 'double vowels', and 'consonant clusters' clusters due to errors in language use that do not match Indonesian Spelling (EBI) . Errors in Indonesian sounds or pronunciation that occur in television advertisements like this occur due to ignorance or on purpose so that the advertisement displayed will attract the attention of consumers or people who see, watch and listen to it.

Abstract

Implementing social studies learning for grade 1 elementary school is still not optimal in absorbing material concepts and people's values in social studies lessons. One of the causes is the low quality of teaching modules teachers own. This research aims to develop a social studies e-module containing Balinese folklore based on Pancasila student profiles for grade 1 students in elementary schools. This research uses the Dick and Carey development model, which consists of 10 stages. The subject of this research is to use individual trials of 3 students and small group trials of 9 people. This research applies a post-test-only method with data collection methods using questionnaires and multiple-choice objective tests. Data analysis involves qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research showed that the e-module obtained a very good classification with media validity of 80%, social studies content validity of 95%, design validity of 97.22%, language validity of 90%, individual trials of 91.67%, and small group trials amounting to 91.67%. The effectiveness calculation shows a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), confirming a significant difference in student understanding between classes that use e-modules containing Balinese folklore with Pancasila student profiles and classes that use regular e-modules. Thus, it is known that the new features in the e-module have proven effective in improving the quality of the learning process. This research can be used as a parameter for e-module development to support the feasibility and effectiveness of implementing learning for elementary school students.

Abstract

One of the efforts to construct local values as a basis for instilling ethno-pedagogical characters is to interpret the character of Mpu Kuturan which is manifested through the construction of the Pura Agung Mpu Kuturan at the Sekolah Tinggi Agama Hindu Mpu Kuturan Singaraja, Bali. This research emphasizes philological studies. The researcher reads various manuscripts about the remains of Mpu Kuturan's knowledge as a cultural heritage in Bali. The context is important to examine because it is useful for providing a textual description, especially the reconstruction of local values to be used as a reference for pedagogical values. The stages of the Pura Agung Mpu Kuturan ceremony contain academic values based on ethnopedagogy. First, Melasti Segara and Mapekelem-Mapapada Wewalungan Tawur, meaning the construction of eco-pedagogical values and critical learning media, because they are the personification of the universe. Second, Nyenuk, Ngamargiang Kekundang, Ngaturang Guru lan Bendu Piduka/Ngrsi Bojana, meaning the construction-systematization of the thinking process. The symbolization of colors and the placement of gods in various directions symbolically signify the thinking ability of a learner or academic must be adjusted to the situation and conditions or social gradation of each diverse society. Third, Nangun Ayu-Makebat Daun, as a constructive symbol of metacognitive thinking - open. Makebat daun means opening up a new life or hope. If interpreted, the procession of the ceremonies above is the result of human creativity (as homo-esparan) to visualize or personify the form and presence of God which is abstract in nature into a concrete form.

Abstract

The Nigerian education system continues to face numerous challenges, including limited access, poor educational quality, and inequalities in learning outcomes. These challenges necessitate effective policy reforms to enhance educational quality and achieve sustainable development goals. This study aims to examine the potential transformation of Nigeria's education system by drawing lessons from the success of educational policy reforms in Indonesia. The study employs a comparative analysis method by examining key elements of Indonesia's educational policies, their implementation strategies, and their impacts on educational outcomes. The analysis explores contextual similarities and differences between the two countries to identify best practices and transferable lessons for Nigeria. Data were gathered from various sources, including policy reports, academic studies, and official publications, and were qualitatively analyzed to provide in-depth insights. The findings reveal that Indonesia's educational policies, such as compulsory education programs, teacher quality improvement initiatives, and the strengthening of vocational education, have positively impacted both access to and quality of education. These practices can be adapted to Nigeria’s context to address similar challenges. However, the implementation of such policies in Nigeria requires adjustments to suit the country’s unique social, economic, and cultural conditions. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that well-directed and sustainable policy reforms can bring transformative changes to a country's education system.
