Abstract

Setanggor tourism managers make halal tourism as a new innovation in the development of tourist villages. The value of Islamic law as a reference for the development of halal tourism in Setanggor Village. However, in the development of the tourism industry in Setanggor Village, it is inseparable from the challenges, namely the low participation of youth at the planning and decision-making stages to develop tourism, and youth prefer to seek income outside their area because of economic conditions in the village are not yet supported, so local youth are less participating in developing tourism in the environment. This shows that the readiness of human resources (especially youth) in developing halal tourism is still inadequate. The research data were analyzed using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation support related to the research objectives. In-depth interviews were conducted with 6 Tourism Managers and 1 Head of Setanggor Village, then the interview data were recorded and continued with analysis using content analysis.The results of this study indicate that the management of the Setanggor tourism village offers a unique travel experience by enjoying natural attractions; arts-cultural attractions; local food attractions; and halal tourist attractions. The tour packages offered as tourism products are local activities, nature, and the unique traditions / culture of the Muslim community in Setanggor tourist destinations as an effort to attract domestic tourists and foreign tourists, both Muslim and non-Muslim. The presence of Halal tourism concept in the development of tourism in Setanggor Village is an effort to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in tourism and cultural preservation of the local community whose activities are inseparable from religious factors, namely Islam.Keywords:Halal Tourism, Tourism Village, Setanggor Village.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an understanding of the factors forming youth entrepreneurial intention in the halal tourism industry. This research uses a quantitative method with a causality approach. Data was collected from university students in West Nusa Tenggara who have taken entrepreneurship courses. The results show that entrepreneurship education influences opportunity recognition and entrepreneurial intention in halal tourism industry, opportunity recognition influences entrepreneurial intention in halal tourism and entrepreneurship education influences entrepreneurial interest in halal tourism through opportunity recognition. The West Nusa Tenggara government and universities are suggested to develop a curriculum related to halal tourism and link existing courses with topics of halal tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of multi halal friendly hotel attributes on customer satisfaction at Grand Madani Hotel Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia using associative quantitative methods. In this study, the population is all hotel guests who have stayed at the Grand Madani Hotel Mataram. The number of samples used in this study were 105 samples using nonprobability sampling. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection was done using a questionnaire / google form. Data analysis using path analysis using SEM AMOS Version 24 as a data processing tool. The results of this study indicate that: 1. Multi halal friendly hotel attributes have no significant effect on customer experience; 2. Customer experience has a significant effect on customer satisfaction 3. Multi halal friendly hotel attributes have no significant effect on customer satisfaction; 4. Multi halal friendly hotel attributes have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction after going through the customer experience intervening variable.Keywords:Multi halal friendly hotel attributes; customer experience; customer satisfaction; sharia hotel

Abstract

This study aims to examine the determinants of the disclosure of Islamic social reporting of companies incorporated in the Jakarta Islamic Index. ISR determinants in this study are company size, profitability, leverage, board size, and company age. The population used in this study were all companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the period 2016 to 2018. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 51 company years. Data panel regression is used to achieve the goal. The results showed that company size, leverage, and the independent board of commissioners had a significant effect on the disclosure of Islamic social reporting. Meanwhile, profitability and company age show the opposite result.Keywords:Islamic Social Reporting; Firm Size; Leverage: Indepencent Board Director; Firm Age.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of perceived values, including functional, emotional, social, epistemic, conditional, and Islamic values on the decision to visit halal destination of Lombok Island. The samples were 150 young Indonesian female Muslim tourist who had visited the halal destination, aged 16-30 years. The method used is quantitative research with purposive sampling technique. The result showed that from six variables, four variables, i.e. emotional, epistemic, conditional, and Islamic values have significant effect on decision to visit, while the other two, namely: functional and social values have no significant effect on decision to visit the halal destination.Keywords:Perceived value, young Muslim women, visiting decisions, halal destinations, Lombok island

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Financial Attitude and Financial Knowledge on Company Performance with Financial Decision as an Intervening Variable on Small and Middle Enterprises Owners in Lombok Island. This research's theoretical contribution is expected to contribute to the knowledge and development of behavioral finance theory related to Financial Decision-making and Company Performance in Small and Middle Enterprises. Besides, it is also hoped that behavioral finance will become a subject in the financial management course. Furthermore, this research's practical contribution is expected to provide input, suggestions, and recommendations to the NTB Provincial Government's policymakers in making policies related to SMEs' development.               This research is research based on a quantitative approach, with this type of explanatory research. The study population was all SMEs in Lombok Island. The sampling was carried out by non-probability selection, namely using judgment sampling, selecting SMEs engaged in the pottery industry and had already exported. Of the existing population, there are 35 (Thirty-Five) SMEs that can be taken as samples. Respondents in this study are the owners of each of these SMEs. The data collection technique used in this study was to use a questionnaire. The data obtained will be processed as needed by using GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis) statistical tools to achieve the research objectives and hypothesis testing.               The results showed that Financial Attitude and Financial Knowledge had a positive and significant effect on Financial Decision-making. Financial Decisions did not mediate the impact of Financial Attitude and Financial Knowledge on Company Performance, and Financial Decisions had a negative and significant effect on Company Performance. This circumstance is also motivated by the age of most of the respondents of productive age, mostly male, most of the education level is high school, and the length of business is more than 10 (ten) years. Keywords: Financial Attitude, Financial Knowledge, Financial Decision, Company Performance

Abstract

This study is aimed to identify the factors that influence investment decision making by individual investors in the city of Mataram. Due to the importance of investment decision for individual investor, various factors surely are taken into consideration before deciding into some kind of invesment transaction. Survey is conducted on 100 people from different age groups and professions in the city of Mataram. Most of the respondents choose to invest in asset such as real estate and gold, only a few of them choose market securities as investment. The results of the factor analysis show that there are five factors which affect investment decisions of individual investors in the city Mataram, namely financial literacy, advice and protection, future needs, time duration of investment, and risk and return. Keywords: investment decision, individual investor, financial literacy, advice, future needs,time duration, risk and return

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership behavior and organizational culture on the performance of employees of PT Indonesia Power-PLTU Jeranjang OMU. The population in this study were all organic employees from the executive level to the executive who worked at PT Indonesia Power - PLTU Jeranjang OMU. The findings of this study are that leadership behavior has a positive and significant effect on performance, and organizational culture also has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Indonesia Power - PLTU Jeranjang OMU.Keyword : Leadership Behavior, Organizational Culture, Employee Performance

Abstract

This Research aimed to analyze liquidity and profitability to the capital of Conventional Credit Society Bank. The associative method is using to analyze the problems that arise. The location of observation on conventional credit society bank (CSB) is in the province of West Nusa Tenggara, which has experienced the level of capital. The analysis used is path analysis. The results show liquidity has opposite effects indirectly through the profitability of capital. Those indicate the impact of the low liquidity but through to increase efficiency and the capital.Keywords:Liqiuidity, Profitability, Capital, Credit Society Bank (CSB)

Abstract

 This study aims to find the results of content analysis in determining the pattern of developing halal tourism based community in Geosite Lembah Sembalun. Data collection was colledted through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study obtained 3 categories and 11 themes through open and axial coding processes. In this study, it is stated that the pattern of developing halal tourism based community in Geosite Lembah Sembalun is spontaneous and induced participation obtained from 3 categories of content analysis, namely community participation in involvement phase, degree of participation and community participation in developing halal tourism.Keywords: Content Analysis, Halal Tourism, Pattern, Participation, Geosite Lembah Sembalun
