Abstract

This study aims to discover the mistakes made by students, especially class VII students at Koka Christian Middle School, when solving math problems on algebraic operations using the Newman procedure. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The technique for collecting data used a written test by providing description questions that totaled 3 items and was supported by interviews with students and documentation. The subjects in this study were 16 students in class VII of Koka Christian Middle School who took the written test, and 3 of them were selected to be interviewed after a deliberation process. The results of the study showed that students made errors in solving math problems in the material for algebraic operations based on the Newman procedure, namely: 1). error in understanding the problem, where students need to write down what is known and asked by the problem or make examples in the form of variables. 2). problem transformation errors, where students cannot determine the mathematical model of the given problem or cannot determine the correct formula. 3). process skill errors, where students need clarification in the problem-solving steps due to errors in understanding the concept of algebraic operations. 4) final answer errors, where these errors result because students are wrong in the problem-solving process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the conditions and use of non-projection media in learning mathematics of State Elementary School 73 West Pontianak. The research methode used is descriptive method. There are 2 data sources in tis study, primary data sources is educators, and secondary data sources is observation sheets, inteview guides and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study show that the condition of non-projection media in learning is in good condition and can function, but the use of non-projection media is rarely used by teachers during the learning process

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research that aimed to find out the description of Kurikulum Merdeka Implemetation at SD Negeri 2 Manurungge Watampone, especially in grades I and as the Class that was pointed to implementate the Kurikulum Merdeka at the school mentioned. There were 3 perssons to be subjects in this study, namely the headmaster, homeroom teacher for Grade I, and Class teacher for Grade IV at SD Negeri 2 Manurungge. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and document studies. Data analysis techniques include : data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that: (1) the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SD Negeri 2 Manurungge has been going well. The learning applied by the teacher was in line with the expectations of the Kurikulum Merdeka, (2) the teacher has prepared a learning plan based on teaching modules, (3) the teacher has planned and implemented the student-centered learning and the differentiated learning. However, in the aspect of differentiation learning, the implementation has not been maximized, the teacher has not implemented task/project differentiation perfectly. Conclusion: in general, SD Negeri 2 Manurungge as a school implementator the Kurikulum Merdeka has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum well. However, the Class teachers implementing of the Kurikulum Merdeka are expected to continue and improve the quality of implementation of the curriculum, especially in a differentiated learning process.

Abstract

The effectiveness of a course of study is affected by the strategy used. When it comes to teaching science, a method that is oriented on the instructor is less successful. Belajar melalui Melakukan Konsep belajar mengajar dapat digunakan oleh pendidik dengan menempatkan siswa dalam konteks aktual di mana mereka dapat menerapkan pengetahuan kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki, "How effective are contextual learning methods in learning?" with specific reference to the sciences. Classroom action research (CAR) was used, and the study was written in a descriptive style to quickly describe the study's themes, sample procedures, data collecting methods, and data analysis procedures. This study's findings suggest there is room for improvement in the way science is taught to pupils. In Cycle I, students scored 64.46 on the understanding exam; in Cycle II, they scored 82.76, an increase of 38 percent. The "Contextual Teaching and Learning" technique has a success rate of 87%, indicating that it is effective in raising students' achievement in primary science.

Abstract

This study aims to create interactive learning media to optimize the introduction of traditional games called "VINANES" . These interactive multimedia is developt to make it easier for teachers to explain the material that contains information related to traditionals toys, animations, and games so that students are expected to be interested in learning the material presented and don't get bored during the learning process. Based on the results on 22 grade 3 elementary school students, it proves that the VINANES learning media is implemented very well, with a percentage of test results of 84.39%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of writing fables by using audio-visual media in class VII students of UPT SPF SMPN 48 Makassar. This type of research is quantitative research with pre-experimental methods, the research design used is one group pretest-posttest involving one class which is held in two meetings. The procedure of this research includes preparation, implementation, and completion. The subjects in this study were 36 students of class VII UPT SPF SMPN 48 Makassar. The results of research and analysis of statistical data can be seen that the average values ​​of the Pretest and Posttest using audio-visual media in learning to write fables are 54 and 82.05. Furthermore, inferential statistical analysis on the t-test results obtained that thirung is 8.873 and ttable is 1.689 at a significant level of 0.05 or 5% so tcount (8.873) > ttable (1.689) stated that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted then the hypothesis is accepted. In the N-Gain test, it can be analyzed that the ability of students' learning outcomes to write fables using audio-visual media at intervals of g ≥ 0.7 is in the high category. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that learning outcomes have an effect on the use of audio-visual media on fable writing skills for class VII UPT SPF SMPN 48 Makassar.

Abstract

The study aims to improve problem-solving skills with a realistic mathematical approach in the students of the 8th grade of the State High School. This study is a Class Action Research (PTK) that consists of 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class VIII-3 SMP Negeri 2 Medan. At the classical initial test 1 (3.7%) students are rigorous and the average student initial test in the category is very low. On cycle I experienced an improvement of the classically acquired 23 (71%) students of a rigorous and a student test average of 65.98 with a level of proficiency in the medium category. In the II cycle experienced improvements classically acquired 28 (87,5%) students were rigorous and a student test average of 77.99 with a level of ability in the middle category. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of realistic mathematical approaches can improve students' ability to solve math problems.

Abstract

Learning is an activity between teachers and students in order to achieve learning objectives. The success or failure of achieving the learning objectives is determined by the teacher, because the teacher plays an active role in providing enthusiasm and growing students' desire to be enthusiastic in carrying out learning, a teacher must be able to guide students to be better in attitude, physically and also psychologically in participating in the learning process. The teacher's job is to provide knowledge and students are the recipients of that knowledge. Teaching and learning activities are activities of communicating knowledge to students and students act as recipients of the knowledge that has been taught by the teacher. This study aims to find out how important learning media is in increasing student interest and motivation in learning, where students sometimes feel bored with the learning methods used by teachers such as the lecture method, teachers demand more students to listen and understand the material presented by the teacher without expecting activeness students in participating in classroom learning, even though with the utilization of learning media students will be more active, innovative and creative. The research method used in this study was qualitative research with data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires and interview guides. Where the research subjects were students and teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara. By conducting this research we can conclude that in a learning activity that uses the media as an instrument that helps learning activities can create students who are characterized and active, innovative and creative and can be implemented in 3 things, among others in the educator, in the self educate and in teaching and learning.

Abstract

Gadgets are tools that can be used to receive, search and obtain various sources of information from outside with a wide range of information. The purpose of this research is to analyze how student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli are influenced by the use of technology. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were 387 students at SMA Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli and the sample was determined using a non-probability type with a purposive sampling technique of 197 people with a significant level of 5%. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and questionnaires. For data processing, namely conducting validity tests, reliability tests, and correlation tests. The results of the study show that there is a negative effect of using gadgets on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. Through testing the hypothesis with the correlation test obtained t-table of 0.1398 so that t-count = 0.147989 > t-table = 0.1398.

Abstract

The development research was conducted as an innovation of learning modules with Islamic nuances and the environment of whole number material at the junior high school / MTs level that are feasible, interesting, and effective for use in learning. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of validation of material, media, and religious experts, the response of the attractiveness of educators and students, and the effectiveness test. The feasibility test was conducted by three material expert validators, three media experts, and one religious expert. Attractiveness and effectiveness response tests were conducted at SMP Swadiri 1 Seputih Agung and MTs Darussalam Adijaya. The results of the feasibility test by material expert validators 3.53, media experts 3.69, and religious experts 3.77 with the criteria "feasible". The attractiveness response test by educator 1 was 3.88 and educator 2 was 3.29 with the criteria "very interesting", the response of students in the small group test was 3.53, the large group was 3.57 with the criteria "very interesting" at SMP Mandiri 1 Seputih Agung and the small group 3.57 and the large group 3.60 with the criteria of "very interesting" at MTs Darussalam Adijaya. The product effectiveness results obtained an effect size score of 0.68 in the "medium" category at SMP Swadiri 1 and 0.85 in the "high" category at MTs Darussalam Adijaya so that the module was declared effective for use in learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the mathematics module with Islamic nuances and the material environment for integers is feasible, interesting, and quite effective in learning.
