Abstract

Geometry Calculations and Optimization Values are one form of application of Ethnomathematics that can be applied to the production of Balinese Gamelan Angklung Musical Instruments. The aim of this study is to determine the number of ethnomathematics elements that can be found in a culture in each region through a research project. The methodology for this study was carried out using direct observation and interviews by visiting the production site of Gamelan Angklung Musical Instruments on Gong Tari, precisely in Tihingan Village, Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency, Bali Province. The results of this study found that there were many geometric elements that could be found in Balinese Gamelan Angklung, apart from that, optimization values were also calculated in the production process. The conclusion of this study explains that many elements of ethnomathematics can be found in various cultures and regions, one of which is in the process of making Gamelan Angklung Musical Instruments on Gong Tari.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in learning outcome IPAS of fifth grade students at SDN Sawah Besar 01 before and after implementing differentiated learning strategies. The research design used in this study is a quantitative experiment with a one-group pre-test and post-test model. The subjects in this study were 28 fifth grade students at SDN Sawah Besar 01. The instrument used to measure student learning outcomes is the pre-test and post-test scores. The results of the study show that before the implementation of differentiatied learning strategies, the average score was 58, while after the implementation of differentiatied learning strategies, the average score increased to 84. Based on the t-test results, it is shown that differentiatied learning strategies have an influence on student learning outcomes with a significant value of <0,05. In addition, the N-Gain criteria also obtained a value 0f >0,03, indicating that differentiatied learning strategies have a high level of effectiveness. Therefore, it can be concluded that differentiatied learning strategies have an effect on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Sawah Besar 01 in the IPAS subject.

Abstract

Science learning plays an important role in providing knowledge related to nature, living creatures and their environment. This learning is important to develop not only cognitive but also student skills. Teachers are expected to be able to innovate in designing learning that can provide real learning experiences for students. This research aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of science content content on getting to know the earth for class V SD N Gayamsari 02 Semarang. This research uses a quantitative approach to experimental methods with a one group pretest posttest design. Data collection techniques use test and non-test data, data are analyzed using quantitative methods. The research results show that there is an influence of implementing the Project Based Learning model on student learning outcomes with an N-Gain value of 0.63. This means that the application of the Project Based Learning model has an average increasing effect with moderate criteria on the science content learning outcomes of class V students at SD N Gayamsari 02 Semarang.

Abstract

The sports industry is a business activity carried out by providing a place to exercise specifically providing a futsal field that will be rented out by people who are interested in futsal sports, the purpose of this study was conducted to determine the sports industry in futsal field rental in Pontianak city. This study uses a survey method, quantitative research. The sample amounted to 24 futsal courts. The data collection techniques used are interview techniques and observation sheets. The research data was analyzed using excel which is presented in the form of diagrams and tables. Based on the results of the calculations obtained as follows. The results show that the rental of futsal fields seen from the highest number of members, namely the D'jau futsal field 76 members, and the lowest member of the Arena futsal Sbn field 1 member, from an average of 33 members, the most expensive rental price is Puncak Futsal Field IDR.135,000. The cheapest Borneo One Stadium field is IDR 30,000, from an average rental price of IDR 89,000. Field rentals are more on weekends, namely Saturday totaling 21 tenants, and on weekends tenants tend to be less, namely on Thursdays with a total of 10 tenants. These results show that the sports industry helps in renting futsal fields

Abstract

This article will answer an important issue about the urgency of the mention of Minister of Religion Regulation Number 73 of 2022 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence for pondok pesantren, considering that the number of cases of sexual violence that have occurred in pondok pesantren lately has made pondok pesantren begin to improve. This study aims to reveal the urgency of issuing regulations on the prevention and handling of sexual violence contained in Minister of Religion Regulation for pondok pesantren. According to the focus of the problem studied, this study uses normative legal methods (legal researh) which are analyzed with normative prescription categories. The results of his research show that, the urgency of the issuance of Minister of Religion Regulation 73 of 2022 for pondok pesantren can be used as: (1) a means of controlling kyai relations with students, (2) a form of guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Commerce, (3) a means to protect themselves by developing a sex education curriculum.

Abstract

This research was conducted to improve student learning outcomes in flat-sided building materials taught using the Google Meet application. Classroom Action Research (PTK) was born on class VIII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Tomohon on flat-sided building material. The subjects in this research were 25 students in class VIII A. The implementation of the Google Meet application in PTK activities is carried out in 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of 2 meetings and 1 test, with one meeting lasting 2 x 40 minutes. The results of research in cycle I using the Google Meet application obtained a percentage of student completion of 48%. In cycle II, using the Google Meet application, student completion was 76%. These results show that the Google Meet application can improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research discusses the central role of Islamic Religious Education in responding to and overcoming complex challenges arising from globalization. Through a qualitative approach and case studies, this research explores the understanding and implementation of Islamic values ​​amidst continuously developing global dynamics. The research results show that Islamic Religious Education has a crucial role in shaping individual Islamic character and perspective. By integrating local values ​​into a global context, religious education is able to provide a strong moral foundation to face the challenges of globalization. Teachers are identified as the main pillar in conveying religious values, acting as facilitators and effective role models. By aligning Islamic values ​​with the global context, religious education creates a bridge that connects Islamic traditions with current developments. The implications of this research include recommendations for improving the curriculum, increasing teacher training, and developing learning strategies that are responsive to the dynamics of global change. The conclusion of this research provides an in-depth view of how important Islamic religious education is in forming a generation that is strong and moral in facing the complex challenges of the era of globalization.

Abstract

The issue of plagiarism has become a major concern in the world of education, considering its negative impact on academic integrity and student learning. In this research, we investigate the potential of integrating character education in learning as a prevention strategy against the prevalence of plagiarism among students. The research method used involved observing two groups of students: one group received learning with an integrated approach to character education, while the other group did not. The research results showed that students who were involved in learning with integrated character education showed an increased understanding of academic integrity and the risk of plagiarism. In addition, they also showed more positive attitudes towards academic integrity and were more careful in reporting reference sources in their assignments. These findings indicate that the plagiarism prevention approach needs to involve building strong character and awareness of ethical values. In conclusion, integrating character education in learning is an important step in reducing incidents of plagiarism among students. Continuous efforts are needed from all stakeholders to implement and support the implementation of character education in educational contexts to ensure the sustainability of the positive effects achieved through this approach.

Abstract

The Bacteriology Laboratory is one of the laboratories used for practical learning on the Manggala Yogyakarta Health Analyst Academy campus. The Bacteriology Laboratory has dangers and risks causing health and safety risks. Bacteriology practical learning uses samples that have the potential for infection. Apart from infections, there is the potential for work accidents throughout October 2022. The aim of the research is to determine K3 risks in the Bacteriology Laboratory of the Manggala Yogyakarta Academy of Health Analysts. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional design. The target population in this research is students, laboratory assistants, supervisors. The total population is 103. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling technique. The results of the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Risk Analysis research at the AAK Manggala Bacteriology Laboratory showed assessment levels of 2, 3 and 4. The risk assessment level in the Bacteriology Laboratory was classified as low risk.

Abstract

This qualitative case study explores the perceptions and practices of English language educators regarding the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in educational settings. The study focuses on understanding how the utilization of AI impacts the professional development of language educators and how their perceptions of AI biases influence their willingness and capacity to advocate for responsible AI implementation. The study also examines the specific skill sets and knowledge domains required by language educators to effectively integrate AI tools into their pedagogical practices. Six English language educators, three high school teachers, and three lecturers in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan, participated in the study. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings suggest that while language educators recognize the potential benefits of AI in language learning, they have concerns about biases and ethical considerations. They also feel the need for additional training and support to effectively integrate AI tools into their teaching practices. The study contributes to our understanding of how language educators perceive and engage with AI in educational settings and provides insights for the responsible integration of AI tools in language education.
