Abstract

The aim of this research is to provide teachers with facilities through the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) in handling and identifying cases of bullying and how to prevent bullying in the educational unit environment. The type of research is qualitative research, namely by means of literature study, the researcher examines the social phenomena that occur. Researchers use library research with the techniques used in research are observation and interviews. One of the materials in the independent training at PMM is Safe School Climate: Preventing Bullying. Implementation of bullying prevention in Pontianak State High School by training teachers, and approaching students, because students are the source of bullying at school. Training focuses on increasing belief in God Almighty and improving norms and laws, training aims to improve students' character.

Abstract

Universities need to be managed well, so that universities are able to carry out the educational process well so that they can produce quality products, can provide satisfaction to prospective students and the community as well as in the world of employment. To be able to work well, to meet the expectations of the community and the world employment opportunities, then higher education leaders apply Managerial Competencies, 5 managerial competencies of leaders in creating conducive and quality higher education institutions, namely: Conceptual Competency, Interpersonal Communication Competency, Technical Competency, Time Management Competency, and Decision-Making Competence. It should be used as a reference and benchmark in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to make biology e-modules, how to develop biology e-modules, the feasibility of biology e-modules, improve science process skills and learning outcomes using biology e-modules on guided inquiry-based virus material. Research Methods Research and Development. The research sample was carried out in class X MA YPKP Sentani with a total of 37 students. The results of the research show that: 1) How to make e-modules through three stages, namely analysis of potentials and problems, data collection, and product design. 2) How to develop e-modules through four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. 3) The feasibility of e-module biology obtained an average percentage of eligibility for the material by 95% and the feasibility of the media by 96% with a very feasible category. 4) Assessment of student learning outcomes using e-module biology obtained an average n-Gain of 0.4 in the medium category.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, learning foreign languages ​​(Arabic & English) has become a necessity for every student in Islamic boarding schools. Not only adults, but foreign languages ​​have been taught from children to foreign language skills in Islamic boarding schools, which really supports them in other knowledge, especially books in Arabic and English. Santri in the current millennial era must be able to do everything, in the field of da'wah in the general public and in their own families. Therefore, students must be skilled in communicating well and using two languages, namely Arabic and English at the An Nursali Modern Islamic Boarding School. This journal discusses the foreign language communication skill methods applied at the An Nursali Islamic Boarding School. This method involves collecting data by observing their learning and daily activities. Based on the results of research conducted, it was concluded that foreign language learning at the An Nursali Modern Islamic Boarding School uses a curriculum prepared independently by the teachers because it is still local content, not national content.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how good company management and political connections impact real earnings management. The indicators of good corporate governance in this research are managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and audit expertise committee. On the other hand, political connections in this research consist of the board of directors and board of commissioners who are connected to politics. This study applies multiple linear regression analysis. In this research, documentation is a data collection method. The data used in this research was obtained from the annual and financial reports of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. The research results show that all independent variables in this research influence the real earnings management variable simultaneously. The managerial ownership and institutional ownership variables partially influence the real earnings management variable, while the audit committee, politically connected board of commissioners and politically connected board of directors variables do not influence the real earnings management variable.

Abstract

The implementation of Good Corporate Governance is considered to be able to improve the bad image of banking, protect stakeholders and increase compliance with applicable laws and regulations and general ethics in the banking industry in order to image a healthy banking system. Apart from that, the implementation of Good Corporate Governance in banking is expected to have an influence on banking performance because the implementation of Corporate Governance can improve financial performance, reduce risks due to management actions that tend to benefit oneself. The independent variable in this research is Good Corporate Governance which is measured by the indicators of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors and Audit Committee. The dependent variable is a type of variable that is explained or influenced by the independent variable. The dependent variable in this research is banking financial performance as measured by ROA. The population in this research is all public banking companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2017-2021 period (43 banking companies). In this research, the samples used and included in the criteria were 25 companies. This research uses secondary data obtained from annual reports of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2017-2021 period. This research uses the Classic Assumption Test and Multiple Linear Regression Test.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of implementing the Guided Discovery Model using experiments to enhance students' interest in learning the concepts of perimeter and area of plane figures in the fourth-grade class at SDN Gayamsari 02. This approach attempts to integrate a more active and student-centered learning approach to improve students' understanding of fundamental mathematical concepts. The research method employed is classroom action research involving active participation of both teachers and students in every stage of implementation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and surveys on learning interest. The findings indicate a significant increase in students' interest in learning after implementing the Guided Discovery Model with experiments. There is a notable improvement in students' understanding of the concepts of perimeter and area of plane figures. This discovery supports the effectiveness of the Guided Discovery Model in stimulating learning interest and understanding mathematical concepts at the elementary school level, providing a foundation for a more interactive and relevant learning approach tailored to students' needs in mastering complex mathematical materials. The practical implications of this research highlight the importance of using active exploration-based learning methods and involving students to enhance their learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of government on the health sector, education, infrastructure and poverty levels on the human development index.This study uses 4 independent variables, namely: Percentage of poverty, allocation of regional expenditure in the education sector, allocation of regional expenditure in the health sector and allocation of regional expenditure in the infrastructure sector (housing and public facilities) and for the dependent variable in this study is the Human Development Index. The scope of this study includes 50 districts / cities in the three poorest provinces on the island of Sumatra, namely Aceh, Bengkulu and South Sumatra provinces using a 5-year time span, namely 2017 - 2021. The results of this study indicate that government expenditure on the health and education sectors has a positive effect while the infrastructure and poverty sectors have a negative effect on the human development index.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the low ability of students to solve science learning problems and the methods used by teachers in the learning process did not vary. This research aims to (1) describe the learning process using the inquiry learning model, (2) describe the quality of the learning process using the inquiry learning model, (3) describe students' problem solving abilities using the inquiry learning model. The research location is UPTD SMP Negeri 8 Gunungsitoli. The research subjects were 32 class IX students. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research which consists of four stages, namely a) Planning, b) Action, c) Observation, and d) Reflection. The research instruments are: a) Observation sheet, b) Problem solving ability test, c) Learning process quality questionnaire, d) Documentation and e) Interview guide sheet. Research results: (1) The science learning process in Cycle I was 71.15% in the sufficient category and in Cycle II it was 87.98% in the very good category. (2) The quality of the science learning process in Cycle I was 71% in the sufficient category and in Cycle II it was 87% in the very high category. (3) Problem-solving ability indicator identified problems by 85% increased to 100%, indicator collected data by 76% increased to 97%, indicator set hypothesis by 70% increased to ie 84%, indicator tested hypothesis by 64% increased to 74%, indicator drew conclusions by 66% increased to 75%, In Cycle I the average value was 70.99 (sufficient), standard deviation was 10.3, in cycle II increased to 85.93 (good), standard deviation 9,1.

Abstract

Problems, development and improvement of mental health can be done with group guidance services (BKp) behavioral counseling techniques. The aim of the research is to reveal the influence of BKp services (X1) and behavioral counseling techniques (X2) on improving mental health (Y), using associative strategy quantitative methods. The research location was SMP Negeri 6 Idanogawo, the research population was all class VIII students and the sample was taken purposively as many as 32 people. The data collection instrument was a closed questionnaire which was distributed to a number of respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to answer research questions according to the proposed hypothesis. The research results concluded that BKp services (X1) partially had a significant effect on improving mental health (Y). The regression coefficient value of the BKp service variable is negative, namely 5.279 and every increase in BKp services by 1.00% will be followed by an increase in mental health by 5.279%. Behavioral counseling techniques (X2) partially have a significant effect on improving mental health (Y). The regression coefficient value for behavioral counseling techniques is positive, namely 6.098 and every 1.00% increase in behavioral counseling techniques will be followed by an increase in mental health of 6.098%. Variables X1 and X2 together have a significant effect on variable Y and every increase in X1 and The contribution of the influence of variables X1 and X2 to variable Y is 91.80%, while the remaining 8.2% is influenced by other variables that have not been studied. It is recommended for school counselors to provide BKp services with behavioral counseling techniques to handle, develop and improve students' mental health.
