Abstract

This research discusses the hierarchy of needs of the character Nirbita in the novel Sekotak Senja untuk Nirbita by Yupitawdr, a study of Abraham Maslow's humanistic psychology. The hierarchy of needs states that humans fulfill low level needs to the highest needs to achieve satisfaction. These five needs, including: physiological, safety, social and love needs, are valued up to self-actualization. This research aims to describe the hierarchy of needs experienced by the character Nirbita in the novel Sekotak Senja untuk Nirbita by Yupitawdr. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques using library study techniques and note-reading techniques. The data in this research are in the form of quotations in the novel that show the hierarchy of needs of the character Nirbita in the novel Sekotak Senja untuk Nirbita by Yupitawdr. The data analysis technique in this research is a descriptive analysis technique which consists of grouping data related to the character Nirbita in the novel Sekotak Senja untuk Nirbita by Yupitawdr which is the main target in this research, describing and analyzing the data according to the research objectives, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research, the character Nirbita in the novel Sekotak Senja untuk Nirbita by Yupitawdr has been fulfilled well. This research article can add insight and references for readers in understanding Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs in humanistic psychology.

Abstract

This research uses descriptive qualitative and data collection techniques through interviews and observations involving students and teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Sidoarjo. This research is strengthened by primary data and secondary data, this data is used as a source of information for the required research. This research aims to analyze the learning difficulties experienced by students in PAI subjects, and aims to find evaluation results in teachers' efforts to plan the process of subsequent teaching and learning activities. The results of this research are that the learning difficulties experienced by students occur depending on the learning media used by teachers in carrying out teaching and learning activities. Students feel bored and there is no interaction in the process of teaching and learning activities. The teacher's next effort is to carry out the learning process by adjusting student characteristics from the evaluation results. With these difficulties, teachers try to create discovery learning, namely students are more innovative in producing understanding of learning outcomes that are realized with digital smartphone-based content or learning. This article contributes to reviewing teachers' efforts to increase students' interest in learning in PAI subjects. Practical implications of using innovative digital-based learning media. This research has differences with the results of previous research.

Abstract

Students' honest character can be formed, developed and enhanced with various guidance and counseling services. The aim of this research is to see the influence and contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable using associative quantitative methods. The research population was all students of the BK FKIP study program at Nias University and a sample of 44 people was drawn in the fourth semester. The data collection instrument was a closed questionnaire and was analyzed using multiple linear regression statistical techniques. The research results reveal that: there is a partially significant influence of the Classical Counseling service (X1) on increasing honest character (Y) and every increase in X1 of 1.00% will be followed by an increase in Y of 0.27%; there is a partially significant influence of intelligent character education in the classical format (X2) on increasing Y and every increase in X2 of 1.00% will be followed by an increase in Y of 0.328; there is a partially significant influence of the BMB3 (X3) strategy on increasing Y and every increase in X3 of 1.00% will be followed by an increase in Y of 0.625; and (4) there is a significant influence of the variables X1, It is recommended that counseling guidance lecturers provide this service to improve students' honest character.

Abstract

Mountaineering in Indonesia is currently a trend among young people and adults. However, a number of environmental problems in the mountains increases with increasing number of mountaineers. A number of studies emphasize the importance of understanding personal values when explaining pro-environmental behavior. This study aims to examine the role of personal values on pro-environmental behavior in mountain climbers. A total of 127 respondents filled out a questionnaire measuring pro-environmental behavior (Dimensions of Behavior and New Ecological Paradigm Scale) and values. In this study, the results showed that there are two personal values that have a role in pro-environmental behavior. The two values are universalism (F=92,35, p<0,05) and power (F=46,33, p<0,05). Furthermore, the result points out that there are differences in pro-environmental behavior among respondents who are members of nature lovers’ group or Kelompok Pecinta Alam (KPA) and non-members of KPA, respondents who have more mountain climbing experience and those who have less experience, and respondents who have previous learning experience and those who do not have previous learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using flower subtraction learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of first grade students at SDN Gayamsari 02. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The subjects of the study were first grade students of SDN Gayamsari 02. Data were collected through observation, tests, and interviews. The results of the study showed that the flower subtraction learning media had a positive impact on the learning outcomes of first grade students at SDN Gayamsari 02. This is indicated by the good learning outcomes of students on the final test after using the flower subtraction learning media. In addition, the results of observation and interviews showed that students were more enthusiastic and active in participating in mathematics learning when using the flower subtraction learning media.

Abstract

Khulafaur Rasyidin is a person who has intelligence, courage, and is responsible for managing the country as the Prophet's successor as leader. Khulafaur Rasyidin was not far from being a close friend of the Prophet, including Abu Bakar Ash-Shidiq, Umar Bin Khattab. Ustman Bin Affan, and Ali Bin Ani Talib. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach using library research techniques. The aim of this research is to understand and explore the history of Khulfaur Rasyidin's time which includes leadership and educational concepts during Khulafaur Rasyidin's time. The results of this research are that Khulafaur Rasyidin means the successor of Rasulullah as leader. The process for determining who has the right to be the leader of all Khlaifahs is the same using the results of deliberation, except for Caliph Umar who was appointed directly by Abu Bakr before he died. The concept of education during Khulafaur Rasyidin's time was no different from the teachings that had been taught and implemented by the Prophet. The Caliphs used corners of the mosque for learning activities and chose Companions to become teachers. During the reign of Caliph Ustman, he made a policy that teachers were allowed to teach in any area they wanted. This concept of education was finally hampered during the time of Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib, because he was focused on suppressing political rebellions so that the concept of education was not paid attention to.

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate the crucial role of lecturers in helping students overcome difficulties in understanding and reading the Qur'an at UIN RIL. Lecturers serve not only as providers of knowledge but also as mentors and supporters for students in the learning process. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews and observations of lecturers and students. Findings indicate that lecturers play a pivotal role through personalized approaches, learning evaluations, and interactive material provision, effectively addressing student challenges. A descriptive qualitative method is utilized to generate data describing the social situation in the field, with analyses yielding conclusions that complement quantitative findings.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kebutuhan materi ajar keterampilan menyimak BIPA level 2, (2) mengembangkan desain materi ajar keterampilan menyimak BIPA level 2 bermuatan budaya daerah dengan menggunakan media audio visual, (3) memvalidasi materi ajar tersebut dalam bentuk cetak, (4) memvalidasi media audio visual yang digunakan, dan (5) melakukan uji coba terbatas terhadap materi ajar bermuatan budaya daerah berbasis media audio visual terhadap pelajar BIPA level 2. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah materi ajar keterampilan menyimak BIPA level 2 dalam bentuk cetak dan audio visual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Prosedur pengembangan terdiri dari tiga tahap utama: (1) tahap eksplorasi, (2) tahap pengembangan, dan (3) tahap pengujian. Sebelum dilakukan uji coba, produk tersebut divalidasi oleh expert judgment. Hasil penelitian validasi expert untuk materi ajar menunjukkan skor rerata 4,39 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”, sedangkan hasil validasi expert untuk media audio visual menunjukkan skor rerata 4,6 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Uji coba dilakukan secara terbatas dengan mendapat skor rerata nilai hasil belajar siswa 98,5 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Efektivitas produk dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji T-test yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rerata pada nilai hasil belajar pra-tes dan post-tes. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa materi ajar keterampilan menyimak BIPA level 2 bermuatan budaya daerah Indonesia berbasis media audio visual layak untuk dikembangkan dan digunakan pada proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of student learning outcomes in IPAS Learning Force Material through Canva Application Assisted Learning Media which is motivated by the low student learning outcomes caused by the lack of innovation in the learning media used so that it makes students less active in the learning process. This type of research is an experimental study using a quasi-experiment research design with the chosen design is Quasi Experimental Design which is carried out in collaboration between researchers and teachers in improving student learning outcomes by using Canva Application Assisted Learning Media. The population in this study were all grade IV students at SD PAB 23 Patumbak, the samples in this study were Class IV A as the experimental class and class IV B as the control class totaling 30 students each. Data analysis techniques were carried out using the t test for all hypotheses. The instrument in this study was a multiple choice test sheet. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the calculation of the t test, tcount < ttable, namely (0.601 < 2.02) so that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence and how much influence the learning media assisted by the Canva application has on student learning outcomes in learning science and style material in class IV at SD PAB 23 Patumbak.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Find out how to develop student worksheets based on the jigsaw type cooperative model for thematic learning on the theme of objects around us that are good for fifth grade elementary school students; 2) Knowing the suitability of Student Worksheets based on Jigsaw Type Cooperative Models for thematic learning on the theme of objects around us which are suitable for use by fifth grade elementary school students. This research uses the Thiagarajan development model, namely the 4-D model. This model consists of 4 development stages, namely: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The subjects involved were one material expert, one media expert, one language expert, class V homeroom teacher, and class V students at SDN No. 105375 Sukasari. Experts provide assessments on the suitability of products developed by researchers, while homeroom teachers and students provide responses to products developed by researchers. The results of this research are: 1) produce a product in the form of a Student Worksheet Based on a Jigsaw Type Cooperative Model for Good Thematic Learning on the Theme of Objects Around Us; 2) The product developed is declared suitable for use in class V elementary school, based on the validation results from material experts, namely 92.72% with a very valid category, validation results by media experts, namely 81.81% with a valid category, validation results from language experts, namely 85% with valid category, the results of teacher responses were 85.33% in the very valid category, and the results of student responses were 87.27% in the very valid category.
