Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) as a strategy to improve the quality of education in the university environment. The research methods used include surveys, interviews, and data analysis to evaluate the impact of KTSP implementation on student engagement, soft skills development, and stakeholder responses. The research results show that the implementation of KTSP has succeeded in improving the quality of education with more active student involvement, development of soft skills, and positive responses from stakeholders. The practical implication of this research is the importance of designing a curriculum that is responsive, relevant, and effective in achieving better educational goals at universities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang inovatif, Model Role Play, untuk pembelajaran elemen membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 pada keterampilan membaca kata-kata berawalan “M”. Model ini dikembangkan dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan siswa kelas 1 dengan bantuan E-Big Book yang berisi ilustrasi terkait CP dan materi kata-kata berawalan “M”. Penelitian ini menggunakan model R&D dengan subjek siswa kelas 1A (6 siswa) sebagai uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelas 1B (19 siswa) sebagai uji coba kelompok besar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model ini sangat layak dan efektif, dengan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan dari pretest ke posttest. Saran yang diberikan adalah agar model ini dapat digunakan secara luas di sekolah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, serta guru perlu dilatih dalam pengembangan model yang dapat diterapkan untuk menghasilkan kualitas pembelajaran yang maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relevance of the Merdeka Curriculum in the teaching and learning activities at MA Darul Falah Sumbergempol, drawing upon the perspective of ta'lim mutaalim. The Merdeka Curriculum, as the latest innovation in the Indonesian education system, is designed to encourage students to be more proactive and independent in the learning process. The research also investigates the alignment between formal and non-formal education implemented by MA Darul Falah Sumbergempol, with the principles of learning inherent in the Merdeka Curriculum and ta'lim mutaalim. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, involving data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis. The findings indicate a strong correlation between the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the learning concepts in ta'lim mutaalim. These findings include the enthusiasm for seeking knowledge, increased creativity, promotion of tolerance, fostering a sense of community, respectful behavior of students towards teachers, and the development of student autonomy in the learning process. Thus, this study asserts that the Merdeka Curriculum is not in conflict with the learning principles found in the ta'lim mutaalim. Instead, the Merdeka Curriculum can serve as an effective complement to strengthen existing learning concepts, and provide a more solid foundation for inclusive, value-based education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the level of critical thinking skills and their influence on the use of the RADEC learning model for class V students in science learning at SD Inpres Pattallassang. This research is a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research with quasi-experimental methods. The population in this study was all students in class V of SD Inpres Pattallassang, totaling 99 students with a sample of class VA as the experimental class and class VB as the control class. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The independent variable in this research is the RADEC learning model, while the dependent variable is the critical thinking ability of class V students in science learning at SD Inpres Pattallassang. The data collection technique uses critical thinking ability tests in the form of essay questions, observation and documentation. The instruments used are cirical thinking ability test instruments and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, inferential analysis, namely prerequisite testing and hypothesis testing (independent sample t test). Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the Sig (2-tailed) value was 0.035 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the average critical thinking ability of students who use the RADEC learning model and the Problem Based Lerning.

Abstract

This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The purpose of this study is to describe the types of difficulties students face on triangular material, factors causing students' difficulties in learning triangular material, and solutions to overcome the difficulties faced by students on triangular material. Data collection is taken by test and interview methods. The test used is in the form of a description test of four questions that have been validated by mathematicians. The interview was conducted to clarify the written test answers of the research subjects. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the four subjects still had difficulties in translating, using concepts, using principles, using algorithms, and calculating in solving triangular test questions. The difficulty most experienced by research subjects is the difficulty of translating and using principles. Factors that cause these difficulties include: (1) Students do not know or forget the concepts that must be used to solve the problem, (2) Students do not understand the meaning of the problem, (3) students do not master counting operations and algebraic operations, (4) students do not read the questions carefully, (5) students are not used to doing so, (6) students rush when doing tests, (7) misconceptions around triangles, (8) students do not know the concept of similar tribes, (9) students do not know multiplication by heart, (10) students do not know the use of zero in rupiah currency. Solutions for teachers to overcome the difficulties faced by students include the following: (1) checking the required prerequisite material, (2) teaching formula derivation first, so that students do not forget the formula that has been taught, (3) providing more and varied practice questions so that students master the steps of working on the problem, (4) improving class management so that the learning atmosphere is more conducive and directed.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to improve student’s activeness during learning process. Because researcher found that student’s activeness in the learning process could be much better if the method is suitable with the character of students. Subject of the research are 28 students. Type of the research is class action research. Procedure of the research consist of 4 steps. They are: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection method used in the research is observation, interview and documentation. The result of the precycle, student’s activeness is on (56,25%). On the precycle, only 4 students that very active and 5 students active. 19 other students are on the level of less active. The result on the cycle 1 after the researcher implementing group discussion, student’s activeness is on (66,07%). It shows there is increase from the precycle to cycle 1. On the cycle 1, 6 students are very active and 10 students active, while 12 other students are on the level of less active. The result of cycle 2, researcher implementing small group discussion already. It shows student activeness got higher score (79,46%). On the cycle 2, 10 students are very active and 13 students active, while 5 other students are on the level of less active. There is significant increase from precycle being compared to cycle 2. Based on the result, researcher conclude that the usage of small group discussion is effective to increase student’s activeness from 56,25% to 79,46%.

Abstract

Learning activities in class V require strategies that take into account the characteristics of students' development at that stage. In this context, puzzle media was chosen as the focus of research because it has the potential to integrate learning based on cooperation and interaction between students. The aim of this learning improvement research is to improve cooperation and learning outcomes for class V students at SD Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat in Indonesian Language lessons. This type of research is classroom action research with subjects of 28 students in class VB. The minimum competency criteria score at this school is 80. Research activities include planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection uses observation and tests. The results of the research in cycle I were the percentage of learning completeness was 64% with an average learning outcome value of 75.7. In cycle II there was an increase, namely with a learning completeness percentage of 100% with an average learning outcome score of 87. From the results of the assessment recapitulation, 7 groups experienced an increase with details of 5 groups being very good at cooperation between students and 2 groups also being good at cooperation between students. So improving learning by using puzzle media has succeeded in improving learning outcomes and increasing collaboration between students to complete the tasks given. Learning Indonesian using puzzle media in the VB class at SD Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat is very effective in improving student learning outcomes and also increasing collaboration between students. The choice of puzzle media used by researchers is also able to hone students to think critically.

Abstract

Standar keberhasilan pendidikan dalam Islam sesungguhnya dilihat sejauh mana ilmu itu bisa menjadikan dirinya semakin dekat kepada Allah. Artikel ini memberikan gambaran ideal terkait pendidikan yang diberikan orangtua kepada anaknya. Peran orang tua dalam mendidik anak yang dijelaskan dalam tafsir di antaranya untuk; memberi pendidikan Tauhid seperti pada QS. Luqman ayat 13, memberi pendidikan beramal Shaleh pada QS. Luqman ayat 16, memberi Pendidikan syari’at pada ayat berikutnya, yakni ayat 17, memberi pendidikan berbakti kepada kedua orangtua pada QS. Luqman ayat 14, memberi kasih sayang dalam ayat-ayat yang menyebutkan kata ya bunayya, mengajak berdiskusi QS. Ash-Shaffat ayat 102, menyusui anak yang terdapat pada QS. Al-Baqarah ayat 233, dan memberi nasihat yang ada di surah Yusuf ayat 5.

Abstract

PT. Alfa Arafah Crewing Jakarta is a shipping company that operates in the field of ship crewing. Ship crewing is a service carried out on behalf of foreign sea transportation companies or national sea transportation companies. The ship's crew is an object in the process of activities on board the ship, so the process of recruiting and selecting prospective new ship's crew must be planned carefully so that the recruitment and selection of ship's crew is carried out as expected. The purpose of this research is to find out how Human Resources Development (HRD) carries out recruitment and selection of offshore ship crew at Pt. Alfa Arafah Crewing Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by describing in detail the implementation of the quality-based crew recruitment and selection process at PT. Alfa Arafah Crewing Jakarta. Apart from that, data collection was carried out using interviews, observations, book literature and documents on ship crew selection process activities at PT. Alfa Arafah Crewing Jakarta. The research results show the obstacles faced by PT. Alfa Arafah Crewing Jakarta in recruiting and selecting Offshore vessels. PT. Alfa Arafah Crewing Jakarta is that the implementation of the ship crew selection process has not been well organized. Because the crew's requests must be in accordance with the client's needs. Efforts have been made to overcome obstacles to the implementation of the crew recruitment and selection process at PT. Alfa Arafah Crewing Jakarta is that prospective crew members should meet the company's qualifications by having the skills and certification required by the client to build good performance on board the ship.
