Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Model at SDN Pa'bundukang, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency. The design used in this research is a preexperimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design type. This research took a sample of 30 students. The research instrument is a pretest learning results test and then a posttest learning results test. Test validity is calculated by construct validity. To measure construct validity, you can use expert judgment. After testing the hypothesis, the tcount was 13.37 at a significant level of a= 0.05 and df = N – 2= 30-2= 28, so we obtained ttable = 2.048. Thus, H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected because 13.37 > 2.048, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Model on the Civics Learning Outcomes of Class V Students at SDN Pa'bundukang, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency through the application of the Value Clarification Technique Model ( VCT) in Civics learning has increased.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is students' ability to understand scientific concepts and processes so that students are able to identify problems, explain scientific phenomena, and solve problems by relating human activities to everyday life. Understanding scientific concepts and processes can be integrated into the culture of a region, precisely in the Pelalawan area. One of the local wisdoms in Pelalawan, Riau is smoked fish. From the process of making fish, it has been identified that there is a scientific concept in the process of making smoked fish. The research aims to determine the profile of students' scientific literacy, especially in the context of making smoked fish. This research used a quantitative survey method with a total sample of 201 class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. Students' scientific literacy levels were measured using the students' scientific literacy instrument for making smoked fish which refers to the 2018 PISA scientific literacy competency aspect. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the scientific literacy of class IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kerinci is still relatively low with an average score of 50.58%. Students' scientific literacy in the sub-context of making smoke stations is in the low category with an average score of 46.51% and in the sub-context of the process of making smoked fish is in the low category with an average score of 51.61%. Then, based on the results of the inferential analysis, it was concluded that there was no significant difference in the level of scientific literacy of male and female students.

Abstract

The role of Islamic religious education teachers has an important role in the successful achievement of educational goals, especially in developing morals and shaping students' attitudes and behavior so that they become good and friendly individuals. The era of globalization, characterized by rapid technological and scientific progress, has significantly influenced student behavior and norms. Islamic Religious Education Teachers play an important role in developing students' morals by instilling values ​​such as solidarity, politeness, wisdom, sincerity, honesty, and purity, which are important for shaping students' behavior and character. This research aims to identify and analyze the role of Islamic religious teachers in moral development with a focus on cultivating students who demonstrate noble character traits, such as solidarity, politeness, wisdom and integrity, both at school and in the wider environment. The research method used in this study is observation, structured interviews, and documentation, which is used to analyze data. The purpose is to demonstrate the desired results, focusing on two aspects: the role of Islamic education in developing moral character in students and the challenges faced by teachers in character education. The integration of moral education with academic learning ensures that students not only excel academically but also develop a strong moral foundation, which is essential to their overall growth and success in life. The implication of this research is that the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education teachers has a significant impact on the overall quality of education, because they are an integral part in instilling a good moral foundation in students.

Abstract

The integration of technology in English language instruction for senior high school students presents substantial benefits and challenges. This study explores how technology enhances engagement, provides access to authentic materials, supports personalized learning, and fosters collaboration. It also addresses the primary challenges, including the digital divide, insufficient teacher training, balancing digital and face-to-face interactions, digital literacy, resistance to change, and data privacy concerns. The findings suggest that while technology can significantly improve English language proficiency, a comprehensive approach is necessary to overcome the associated challenges and create an effective and inclusive educational environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning model and understanding of Jigsaw student learning concepts on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in class VIII at UPTD SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar for the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of this research show that the variables of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model have an influence on student learning outcomes. Where the t-count value of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model variable (X1) is 2.983 > ttable 2.000 and the significance value is 0.004 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ha1 is accepted. The variable understanding students' learning concepts influences student learning outcomes. Where the t value of the variable understanding students' learning concepts (X2) is 2.055 > t table 2.000 and the significance value is 0.044 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that Ha2 is accepted. For the F test results (simultaneous), the Fcount value was 5.161 > Ftable 3.15. So it can be concluded simultaneously that the variables of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model and students' understanding of learning concepts influence student learning outcomes. From these results it can be seen that Ha3 is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: the relationship between independent learning and learning outcomes in the electrical engineering drawing subject of the TITL Department at public vocational secondary schools 2 Manado. This study uses a quantitative approach. The type of research is correlational. This research is research involving a population with a population of 24 students. Data was collected using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Of the 22 questions tested, there were 20 valid questions with a reliability value of 0.944. The data analysis technique used is Pearson product moment correlation. The results of the research show that: (1) the average/mean learning independence of class Negeri 2 Manado is 75.74 or in the High category, and (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning independence and learning outcomes in the electrical engineering drawing subject of the TITL Department at public vocational secondary schools 2 Manado. This is shown by the value of r calculated being greater than r table (0.985 > 0.349) and a significance value of 0.000, which means less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning independence and learning outcomes in the electrical engineering drawing subject of the electrical engineering department, State Vocational High School 2 Manado

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi digital dalam pendidikan telah menjadi sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada potensi Canva sebagai media yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 85 Jakarta. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan Canva dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dan pemahaman materi, serta bagaimana fitur interaktif Canva seperti konten multimedia dan kemampuan kolaborasi dapat membantu menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan imersif. Melalui penerapan wawancara dan pengisian kuesioner sebagai tahap persiapan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan landasan yang kuat untuk pelaksanaan program pengabdian berbasis Canva. Dengan demikian, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 85 Jakarta.

Abstract

This journal discusses the management and leadership of Classroom Action Research (PTK) at SMK Negeri 3 Lubuk Sanai, Mukomuko Regency. The aim is to improve the quality of learning and create a supportive environment for student growth and development. PTK management at this school is carried out using modern management principles that are adaptive and responsive to change. The steps include setting goals and objectives, comprehensive planning, continuous implementation, as well as continuous evaluation and improvement. PTK leadership in this school is not only about providing instructions, but also about empowering all school members to actively participate in the learning process. This leadership is realized through inspiration and motivation, collaboration and communication, empowerment and professional development, as well as fostering an inclusive learning culture. By implementing effective PTK management and leadership, SMK Negeri 3 Lubuk Sanai is determined to improve the quality of learning and create a supportive environment for student growth and development, so that every student will be ready to face future challenges with confidence and adequate knowledge.
