Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of literacy reading and writing students of class I in the Basic State School 2 Banjar Tegal, Buleleng district, buleleng-Bali. The research approach is qualitative research with the type of phenomenological research. This research data is a description of implementation the literature reading and written students of grade I in Basic state school 2 Banjer Tegal. The research instruments used are interview guidelines and documentation. The results of the study show that the student's literacy is in the developmental phase. As for the teacher's efforts in developing literacy, the following are: 1) When literacy hours are carried out especially for students with low literacy levels, the teacher invites the student to read the story first from the teacher, whether it's a folk story book, fairy tale or fiction. Then the teacher guides the students to recount the story that has been read by the class teacher in their own language. In the course of recounting the story content, the professor invites students to learn to read some of the pronouns from the contents of the story which makes it difficult for students to read, 2) the teacher uses the media of literature board made of board covered with plates as a place to paste pictures, letters and tribes. With the literacy board media, teachers easily introduce letters and pronouncements to the student whom the teacher first puts a picture on the literation board.

Abstract

In business, a harmonious relationship among the owner, management, and employees is ideal and needed by all parties. However, in reality, this condition cannot always be achieved. Many variables might hinder this harmonious relationship, such as misunderstanding, different perceptions, and different needs that consequently affect the relationship, and even this relationship needs a mediator to mediate the relationship. In this regard, mediator play an essential role and consequently require special skills to conduct their roles professionally. Meanwhile, not every mediator has mastered the roles that need an intervention program to develop the needy skills. In this regard, mentoring was chosen as the intervention program for the Industrial Relation Mediator who works at the Ministry of Manpower Republic Indonesia from many regions in Indonesia. This mentoring program was done in three stages with different objectives and methods. Evaluation results showed that participants were satisfied with the program.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research using a library study method from various trusted references such as reputable journals, results of scientific conferences, and various other sources, and of course from the main sources of Islamic teachings, namely the Al-Qur'an and Hadith. The aim of this research is to examine and describe the core values ​​of character education based on Islamic teaching sources. The research results explain that in QS. Verse An-Nisa 9 explains the command to look after generations and not leave behind weak generations. Humans are born in a state of nature, but often due to human actions that nature changes, both due to internal and external factors. Therefore, the application of the core values ​​of character education which originate from Islamic teachings is very necessary so that students can consistently implement them in their daily lives. The core values ​​of character education based on Islamic teaching sources include character towards God Almighty, character towards oneself, character towards fellow humans, character towards the environment, character towards the nation, and other good characters completely and authentically to be applied in life. The results of this research also explain how core values ​​originating from Islamic teachings are internalized, assimilated and applied in educational character to maintain human nature and become the khaira of the ummah.

Abstract

“Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki bagaimana strategi pembelajaran kontekstual mempengaruhi pemahaman siswa kelas lima tentang gagasan perubahan bentuk dalam instruksi ilmiah. Dalam penelitian ini, metode desain kelompok kontrol pre-test post-test eksperimental diterapkan. Dua kelompok menjadi sampel penelitian: kelompok eksperimen, yang belajar melalui pendekatan kontekstual, dan kelompok kontrol, yang belajar secara konvensional. Tes pemahaman konseptual digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa, dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menerima pengajaran konvensional, siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang pengertian perubahan wujud. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan konseptual siswa tentang sains dapat sangat ditingkatkan ketika situasi dunia nyata digunakan dalam pengajaran sains. Singkatnya, pada tingkat sains kelas 5 SD, pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman tentang gagasan modifikasi bentuk. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep-konsep sains secara lebih utuh, sangat penting untuk memasukkan situasi dunia nyata ke dalam pelajaran sains”.

Abstract

The mathematics learning outcomes of students at SMPN 3 Tondano are still meagre due to students' lack of basic mathematics skills, motivation and interest in students' mathematics learning in the learning process, so the presentation of completeness is only 40%. An alternative to overcome this problem is to use the 7E learning cycle learning model. This research examines the influence of the Learning Cycle 7E learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class VII social arithmetic material at SMPN 3 Tondano for the 2023/2024 academic year. The subjects in the research were 43 students consisting of 2 classes, namely class VII-A with a total of 23 students and class VII-B with a total of 22 students. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a quantitative approach. The data analysis used was the normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests. The instrument in this research is a written test in the form of a description. The results of the research showed that the average learning outcomes of experimental class students were 81.90 and control class 74.08, while the t-test calculation results obtained tcount = 3.843318 and compared with the ttable value = 2.01669 with a significance level of 5%. These results show that tcount > ttable, so that H0 is rejected. So, the 7E learning cycle model influences the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students at SMPN 3 Tondano.

Abstract

This study is to determine the effect of testimonials, promotions, and prices on buying interest with a quantitative approach. This research is quantitative research. The object of research is ESJV community members. Sampling using the slovin formula obtained the final result of 133 respondents. The sampling method is simple random sampling. The method used is to use a questionnaire test distributed via online media. Based on the results of the validity and reliability tests, the testimonial (X), promotion (X), price (X) and purchase intention (Y) variables can be concluded to be valid and reliable based on the calculation test criteria. Statistical testing was carried out using SPSS Version 26. From the results of the testimonial hypothesis test, it has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Promotion has a positive and significant effect on buying interest. And, price has a positive and significant effect on buying interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Social Media Marketing, E-WoM and Service Quality on Purchasing Decisions with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were Kaekopi Lamongan customers and the sample used was 180 respondents. The sample technique used purposive sampling using the Hair formula. Based on the results of the validity and reliability tests of the Social Media Marketing, E-WoM and Service Quality variables, it can be concluded that they are valid and reliable. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the variables of Social Media Marketing, E-WoM and Service Quality partially or simultaneously have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions at Kaekopi Lamongan. The Service Quality variable is the most dominant independent variable in influencing the dependent variable.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is about changing the world through solving social problems, creating innovative products and generating new solutions in life. This research examines how entrepreneurship education at universities or green campuses plays a role in supporting the Bandar Lampung smart city ecosystem. This research is library research with a descriptive approach. The results of this research show that Entrepreneurship Education on an environmentally friendly green campus is an effective way to produce intelligent people as an indicator of creating a smart city based on a green city and a liveable city. Therefore, leaders of green universities or campuses must continue to strive to create environmentally friendly entrepreneurship education so that green campus efforts as part of the green city ecosystem towards a livable city can continue to be implemented towards achieving smart city targets.

Abstract

Students' abilities in solving mathematical problems need to be improved. Many students still need help solving mathematical problems, especially story problems. This research analyses students' errors in solving mathematics problems using the Newman procedure on straight-line equations. The research method used is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were tests and interviews. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use qualitative data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion. The conclusions obtained include: (1) reading errors with a percentage of 3%, which is classified as very low; (2) comprehension errors with a percentage of 10%, which is classified as very low; (3) Transformation errors with a percentage of 14% which is classified in the deficient category, (4) Process skill errors with a percentage of 38% which are classified as low category, (5) Final answer writing errors with a percentage of 18% which are classified as deficient category

Abstract

Application of the PBL Model in Mathematics Learning Material on Rectangular and Triangular Figures. Mathematics Department. Faculty of Mathematics, Natural and Earth Sciences. Manado State University. Tondano 2024. Thesis. This research examines the differences in the learning outcomes of rectangular and triangular shapes for students who received the Problem-Based Learning model treatment and those who received the Direct Instruction model treatment at SMP Negeri 2 Tondano. The method used is quasi-experimental. The research design used was Posttest-only Control Group Design. The research subjects were 15 class VII-C students who received the PBL model treatment and 15 class VII-D students who received the DI model treatment. From this research, data was obtained in the form of learning results, and normality tests and homogeneity tests were carried out before hypothesis testing. The results of the normality test in the experimental class were obtained Lcount = 0.1475 < Ltabel = 0.2200, so the learning result data for the experimental class was normally distributed. Meanwhile, the normality test results in the control class were obtained Lcount = 0.0924 < Ltable = 0.2200, so the control class learning outcomes data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test results obtained Fcount = 1.0457 < Ftable = 2.4837, so the variance of the two classes is homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing with a real level of α=0.05 obtained tcount = 1.8125 > ttable = 1.7011. Thus, it can be concluded that the average learning outcomes of students who received the PBL model treatment were higher than those of students who received the DI model treatment.
