Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of target game practice on shooting accuracy in extracurricular futsal games at SMP Negeri 1 Mandalawangi. This type of research is experimental research using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The population in this study were all futsal players at SMP Negeri 1 Mandalawangi, totaling 14 players. The sampling technique used total sampling with a total sample of 14 people. This research was treated with a target game practice method. The treatment given by researchers was 16 meetings with a frequency of 2 times a week for 8 weeks or 2 months. The instrument in this research was a test of shooting accuracy at the target. Data analysis used the t test (paired sample t test) at a significance level of 0.05, with the prerequisite normality test (Shapiro Wilk) and homogeneity test (Levene's test). From the results obtained, it is known that there is a significant influence of training using target games on shooting accuracy in extracurricular football games at SMP Negeri 1 Mandalawangi. The results can be seen that tcount is 2.598 and t table (df 13) 2.160 with a significance p value of 0.022. Because tcount is 2.598 > ttable ) 2.160, and the significance value is 0.022 <0.05, then these results show that there is a significant effect of training using target aiming games on shooting accuracy.

Abstract

Deaf children are children whose sense of hearing is damaged so they cannot perceive and receive sound stimuli through their hearing. Dysfunction of the sense of hearing in deaf children causes difficulty in acquiring language through hearing, thereby hampering the process of language development. This research discusses the benefits of using the Reflective Material Method (MMR) in deaf children. The aim of this research is to determine the language abilities of deaf children using the Reflective Material Method (MMR) at SLBC Muzdhalifah for class III children. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used is descriptive research. The data collection methods used in this research are interview, observation and documentation methods. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers regarding the use of the Maternal Reflective Method (MMR) with deaf children in elementary class III at SLBC Muzdalifah, it has had many positive impacts, seen from the language and communication skills of SLBC Muzdalifah students.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the Arabic language learning system at the Center for Foreign Language Studies (PSBA) of Zainul Hasan Islamic University (UNZAH) Genggong Probolinggo. Currently, there is a growing public interest in learning Arabic due to its significance in addressing various complex issues in the contemporary world. Numerous educational institutions are actively involved in the development and implementation of Arabic language education, both formally and informally. One such institution is Zainul Hasan Islamic University (UNZAH) Genggong Probolinggo, which has established the Center for Foreign Language Studies (PSBA) on its campus. This research is a qualitative field study utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, encompassing pedagogical, normative theological, juridical, sociological, and psychological aspects. The study results indicate that PSBA UNZAH Genggong offers courses in seven languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, and German, for students who wish to deepen and develop their skills through an institution specifically established for the development of foreign languages, particularly Arabic. The learning system at PSBA UNZAH Genggong is a non-credit program managed by the Language Development Institute, aimed at students interested in advancing their Arabic language proficiency. PSBA UNZAH Genggong currently lacks a standardized curriculum, syllabus, or guidebook; its teaching materials are tentative and subject to change annually based on management policies. The learning model involves simultaneous classes held on the same day and time for each group, without any shifts in teaching hours or days by lecturers. This course program also does not confine learning strictly to the classroom. PSBA UNZAH Genggong has successfully enhanced the Arabic language skills of its students and produced competent Arabic language experts. The increase in achievements in Arabic language competitions, such as speeches, debates, and taqdimul qisshoh, at both district and national levels, demonstrates the improvement in students' Arabic language proficiency.

Abstract

This research was triggered by the uncommendable behavior of adolescents in the school environment. There are various factors, causes, and positive and negative impacts of these behaviors. One of the positive impacts of adolescent poor behavior carried out by students is the formation of many new friends and experiences. But one of the negative effects is being disrespectful to older people. This is greatly influenced by the child's social environment. Adolescents are prone to emotional instability, confusion in decision-making, and prone to anger when facing problems. The task of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers is to overcome student behavior through a disciplinary approach. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of PAI teachers to overcome juvenile delinquency in schools with a disciplined approach, to form disciplined students.

Abstract

Early childhood education is an important foundation in forming children's character and basic skills, including the ability to recognize colors. At KB Islamiyah Probolinggo, initial observations show that around 65% of children are not able to recognize colors well, indicating the need for more effective learning methods. This research aims to test the effectiveness of experimental methods in improving the ability to recognize colors in children at KB Islamiyah Probolinggo. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test for two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The research sample consisted of 30 children who were divided randomly into two groups. The experimental group was given treatment with experimental learning methods for 8 weeks, while the control group continued to use conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through color recognition tests before and after intervention and analyzed using paired t tests and ANOVA. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in color recognition ability compared to the control group. The average pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental group were 45 and 85 respectively, with an increase of 40%, while the control group increased from 47 to 60, an increase of 13%. The results of the t test and ANOVA showed significant differences between the two groups (t=8.25, p<0.01 for the experimental group and t=2.35, p<0.05 for the control group; F=10.47, p<0.01).

Abstract

This paper discusses the integration of technology in Christian Religious Education (PAK) with a holistic approach that combines conventional, modern and creative elements. Based on the understanding that humans have the responsibility to create and use technology according to God's will, the TP-PAK learning strategy becomes the main focus. Involving conventional, modern and creative elements, this strategy aims to increase the effectiveness of PAK learning in facing technological developments in Indonesian society which is increasingly technologically cultured. This paper analyzes the PAK concept based on the Gangel, Benson, Homrighousen, and Graendorf approach, which provides a basis for developing learning technology strategies. PAK is considered important in shaping students' character, morals and spirituality, and the integration of technology is expected to enrich the learning experience. At the discussion and analysis stage, the paper outlines the steps for developing strategic ideas for PAK learning technology, including the application of technology in the context of PAK, the integration of conventional, modern and creative concepts, as well as implementation steps such as e-learning platforms and collaborative projects. Next, the paper analyzes the concept of PAK in depth and the importance of PAK in schools, and presents PAK learning strategies based on conventional approaches, discovery, mastery and investigation. The conclusion of this paper is that PAK learning strategies that integrate technology can create holistic and in-depth learning experiences. Implementation steps such as teacher training, cyber security awareness, parent participation, and integration of PAK with other subjects are the keys to success. Overall, this paper contributes to understanding and implementing PAK learning strategies that are relevant to technological developments in the digital era

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of using the Duolingo application to improve students’ writing skills. The participants of this research are students of INSTIKI who are taking the subject Bahasa Inggris Dasar. The method used was Classroom Action Research and analyzed using Duolingo. The results showed significant progress in the pre-test, implementation, and post-test. The results showed that students writing skills in their application letters have improved much through the number of mistakes/errors. The results of this research have shown that the implementation of AI, especially the application of Duolingo and CAR has a good impact and positive outcomes to improve students’ writing skills. The results of Cycle I and Cycle II have shown that from 5 kinds of mistakes/errors, there were a significantly decreased number of errors that were: 1) prepositions from 20 to 5 errors; 2) agreement of numbers and nouns from 15 to 4 errors; 3) pronouns from 8 to 2 errors; 4) verbs from 20 to 6 errors; and 5) nouns from 20 to 8 errors. As students of IT College, the participants are encouraged to improve their skills in IT and foreign languages especially English. This finding has shown that the implementation of AI like Duolingo for IT Students is relevant to their field of study. in this digitalization era.

Abstract

This research is motivated by lack of interest in student’s learning in mathematics and the lack of uses of varied learning media by the teacher. Based on these problems, researchers are interested in examining the effect of using the Kahoot quiz game media on student’s learning interest in mathematics in classs XI IPS SMA N 2 Pasaman. This type of research ia an expeerimental research with one group pretest-posttest research design. From the total population of 4 classes consisting of 120 students, a sample was taken of 1 class consisting of 30 students from class XI IPS 2 SMA N 2 Pasaman. Sampling using random sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire of student’s interest in learning mathematics. The research data is the form of pretest data and posttest data. Based on the result of data analysis it was obtained that tcount = 2,569 > ttable = 1,699 wich resulted in rejection of H0. After calculating using the SPSS application was obtained significance value of <0,05 wich caused rejection of H0. So there is influence of the Kahoot quiz game media on student’s learning interest in mathematics in class XI IPS SMAN N 2 Pasaman.

Abstract

The issue of nationalism encompasses various challenges and conflicts that arise in the context of nationalism, which is a sense of love and pride for one's country and national identity. Low levels of nationalism are also observed among students. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of the Character Education group format in enhancing nationalism. We employed a quasi-experimental research design, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design. A total of 30 students affiliated with the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIM) in one of the Madrasah Aliyah schools in Sungai Penuh City participated in the study. The respondents were divided into two groups, namely the experimental and control groups. The scale used in this research was a nationalism scale developed by the researcher. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov 2 Independent Samples Test. The research results indicate that the attitudes of students in both the experimental and control groups toward nationalism were categorized as moderate, both in the pre-test and post-test. However, the study revealed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results in the experimental group. Further testing also demonstrated a difference in post-test results between the experimental and control groups. These findings have important implications for the improvement and development of character education curricula in schools. The research also underscores the importance of a holistic approach to character education that encompasses social, emotional, and moral aspects.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematical literacy abilities of students in learning the topic of circles in mathematics. The aim of this research is to explore how the problem-based learning model affects the improvement of mathematical literacy skills in eleventh grade students. This research is a Classroom Action Research consisting of four stages. The location of this research is at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta, in the eleventh grade science class. In this study, the chosen method is qualitative research adopting the problem-based learning approach to the topic of circles. Data collection techniques consist of observation and tests. Observation is conducted to monitor the development of students during the learning process, while tests are used to measure students' mathematical literacy skills. In the pre-cycle, it was found that the level of students' mathematical literacy ability was still quite low at 47%. In cycle I, there was an improvement, reaching 65%, and then in cycle 2, a fairly good mastery level was achieved, with a percentage of 81%. Thus, the Problem-Based Learning model is appropriate for teaching mathematics on the topic of circles to enhance students' mathematical literacy skills
