Abstract

This research aims to improve the speaking ability of students in third grade at SD Hikmah I Yapis Jayapura as well as the teacher's efforts, namely 1). The teacher uses storytelling strategies, 2). The teacher uses group discussion strategies, 3). Children repeat the story that the teacher has told, 4). The teacher provides motivational rewards in the form of "Star Signs". The implications of the teacher's efforts to improve the speaking skills of the students at SD Hikmah I Yapis Jayapura include for students (a) students can continue to learn speaking skills through anything (b) students can develop speaking skills by making videos telling the results of observations in the Indonesian language learning subject according to the theme. For teachers (a) Teachers are helped in the KBM (Teaching and Learning Activities) process, (b) make learning easier, and can continue other work.

Abstract

Blended learning is a learning mode that combines face-to-face (offline) learning and e-learning. Blended learning can be used by teachers to help achieve effectiveness and learning goals. The aim is to find out the implementation of blended learning in making kebaya patterns according to design, find out students' responses to the implementation of the blended learning mode, and find out the effect of blended learning on student learning outcomes. This research is a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. Involving research subjects who were class XI Fashion Design 4 students, totaling 32 students, this research used data collection methods is observation, questionnaires and assessment tests. The results of the research show that the application of the blended learning mode in making kebaya patterns in observing teacher and student activities obtained a good category. Student responses using the blended learning mode obtained a very good category. Student learning outcomes using the blended learning mode reach completion in the complete category.

Abstract

Research on the development of IPAS Quartet Cards Chapter 6 Indonesia Rich in Culture based on the lack of learning media in a classroom, the lack of learning media used in the learning process. Learning activities only use monotonous learning media such as agile smart books, student books that can only support the learning process. In accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum used, directing students to learn creatively and actively requires varied, interesting learning media so that students can contribute well, the aim is to describe the quartet card development process. This learning media is designed to provide a new sensation in lessons. This research is a Research and Development study that uses the Borg and Gall model. The validity of the quartet card media was measured by media, material and language experts through validation instruments. While the quartet card response questionnaire was obtained through a questionnaire given to 15 students and 1 educator. The results showed that the level of validity of the Quartet Card was in accordance with the results of the expert validation questionnaire score. The results of the validity of the media expert 90% “Very Valid”. The results of the material expert assessment 92.5% “Very Valid”. The results of the assessment of language experts 93.75 category “Very Valid” concluded that the Quartet Card learning media fell into the “Valid” category.

Abstract

Learning media has a very important position and has a big influence on the learning process, including creating an active, creative, innovative, effective and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Teachers are required to create learning media that can motivate students to be more active in learning. Because, without a variety of media, learning activities will not run effectively. The right strategy for studying and understanding Biodiversity is in the Social Sciences subject about the Distribution of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia by using teaching materials. This research aims to develop teaching materials using children's games on operations to count numbers up to three digits for class V elementary school students. This research is research that uses the ADDIE development model. There are 5 main stages in this research consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results of this research are to produce products in the form of teaching materials for students and teachers for the learning and teaching process. The product was validated by material experts, media experts and the product was revised based on the validator's suggestions until it was declared suitable for testing. Results of interviews with students at Sumberjo Kulon 1 Elementary School, Ngumut, Tulungagung in small group trials conducted on 5 class V students with a result of 83%, while with the large group the percentage was 88%. Based on the development process starting from validation from material experts, media experts to the results of small and large group trials, overall it was concluded that this children's game-based teaching material product in the form of books is very good to use.

Abstract

Assistive technology is present as a potential solution to overcome learning barriers faced by students with visual impairments. This study aims to examine the use of assistive technology in the learning process of students with visual impairments at elementary and secondary school levels. The method used in this study is a literature review. This study uses a content analysis approach from literature and journal articles that contain information about the use of assistive technology in the learning process of students with visual impairments. The literature was identified using keywords, years, and open access articles. The quality of this study adopts three stages, namely currency, conducting, reporting. Data sources for comprehensive research design were taken from articles containing research findings on the use of assistive technology in inclusive learning processes from three main sources, namely Science Direct, Google Scholar and Sage. The results of the study show that assistive technology has an important role in increasing accessibility, participation, and student learning achievement. Some types of assistive technology that are often used include screen reader software, braille displays, and mobility aids. However, there are still several challenges in the use of assistive technology in learning for students with visual impairments such as limited access to technology, lack of teacher understanding in implementing assistive technology in the learning process, and lack of support from the school environment.

Abstract

Parenting styles play a crucial role in the psychological development of children. This study aims to explore the impact of strict parenting on children's psychological development, focusing on aspects such as self-esteem, stress, anxiety, and behavioral problems. The findings indicate that children raised in strict parenting environments tend to experience lower self-esteem, higher levels of stress and anxiety, and more frequent behavioral issues compared to children raised with a more balanced parenting approach. Specifically, these children often feel unable to meet their parents' high expectations and fear punishment if they fail, leading to decreased self-confidence and self-worth. The high levels of stress and anxiety in these children are also associated with the pressure to always perform perfectly and the fear of negative consequences for mistakes. This study highlights the importance of balance in parenting, where discipline is accompanied by emotional support and open communication. Consequently, children can develop into confident, mentally healthy individuals capable of positive social interactions. These findings provide insights for parents, educators, and policymakers to design more effective parenting and educational strategies to support children's psychological development.

Abstract

This final work aims to visualize cats as an idea for creating graphic art with the limitations of creating colors, gestures and their cute nature. The method used is first, the preparation stage, namely conducting observations and gathering information. Second, the elaboration stage, namely the in-depth stage by describing all the data, Ketoga, the synthesis stage by matching the themes. Fourth, the realization stage by copying sketches into clichés, preparing tools and work processes. The fifth stage of completion is improving the work. Abstract

Student are expected to be able to apply makeup to support a professional appearance in the word of tourism. This encourages female students to learn independently, one of which is through beauty vlogger videos on YouTube. The presence of beauty vloggers influences the opinions and skills of female student through uploaded videos. This study aims to determine the effect of beauty vlogger “X” on the makeup behavior of female students (study on Travel Business Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University). The research method uses causality quantitative research and purposive sampling technique. The population of female students class of 2020-2022 was 132 people, and the research sample was 57 people. Data obtained from questionnaires and processed using the Simple Linear Regression Test. The result show Y=17,322+0,601X where the beauty vloggers is 0,601, which means that every increase in the makeup behavior of female students increases by 0,601 with the t value is 8,522 > 2,004 and a significance of 0,000<0,05. Then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) is accepted which states that there is an influence of beauty vlogger “X” on the makeup behavior of female students with the contribution of the coefficients of determination (R2) 56,9% on the makeup behavior of female students. The remaining 43,1% is influenced by other variables or factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the performance of PT Mayora Indah Tbk with Balanced Scorecard from a financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business process perpective, and learning and growth perspective for decision making. The result of this study indicate that the performance of PT Mayora Indah Tbk for the 2017-2021 period is in a poor condition, this is due to the calculation result from each perspective, from a financial perspective showing poor result in the calculation of ROE, ROA, and Operating Income which are far from the established industy standards, the customer shows that the company’s performance is quite good due to the balanced of cash receipts from customers, the internal business process perspective shows unfavorable result due to a decrease in operating profit from 2020-20221 coinciding with Covid-19, and the growth and learning perspective shows unfavorable result due to an increase in the number of employees, but the net profit generated has not been maximized this is shown in 2021

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the cognitive mathematics learning outcomes of grade 2 students using the number place score board media. Experimental research was carried out at SD Negeri Jatingaleh 01 Semarang in class 2 B consisting of 12 male students and 16 female students. The results of the research prove that the application of the PBL learning model assisted by number place score board media has an effect on the cognitive mathematics learning outcomes of class 2 students and the average pretest score for students' cognitive mathematics results is 58.96 - 83.61, while the average posttest score for students' cognitive results is 86.61 . Obtained sig > 0.365 which can be interpreted that the data is normally distributed, while the posttest data obtained sig > 0.320 which can be interpreted that the data is normally distributed. It can be concluded that the pretest and posttest data are > 0.05, which means that both data are normally distributed. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test hypothesis test above, the sig (2-tailed) is 0.000, which states that the results of the paired sample t-test hypothesis are 0.000 < 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average value of students' cognitive mathematics learning outcomes before and after being given treatment using the problem based learning model assisted by the number place score board media.
