Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Scientific Learning strategy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in order to create students who are critical and globally minded in the Society 5.0 era. This approach was chosen because of its relevance in improving critical thinking skills, digital literacy, and the integration of religious knowledge with the rapid development of science and technology. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, examining various literature from scientific journals, reference books, and related education policy documents. The results of the study show that the Scientific Approach strategy in PAI learning can help students understand the concept of religion in depth, develop analytical skills, and strengthen Islamic values in a global context. In addition, this strategy has also proven to be effective in improving students' digital literacy, allowing them to be actively involved in technologybased learning that is in line with the demands of Society 5.0. Thus, the implementation of the Scientific Approach in PAI is not only relevant to answer the challenges of education in the digital era, but also contributes to shaping a generation of Muslims who are able to compete globally without leaving their religious identity

Abstract

Water is a fundamental element that has a multifaceted role in human life, not only as a biological need, but also as a profound spiritual and cultural symbol. This article examines the meaning, function, and symbolism of water from a religious and cultural perspective, highlighting its important role in shaping human relationships with God, others, and the environment. In various religious traditions, water is considered a sacred element that functions as a medium of purification, a symbol of life, and spiritual renewal. In Islam, water is used in the rituals of ablution and tayammum as a means of purification before worship, while in Christianity, water has an important meaning in the sacrament of baptism as a symbol of forgiveness of sins and new birth. Hinduism and Buddhism also use water in purification and meditation ceremonies as a symbol of cleansing the soul and connecting with cosmic energy. From a cultural perspective, water is often positioned as the center of community life. Indigenous peoples in various parts of the world view water as a living entity that has a soul and must be respected. Local traditions, such as traditional ceremonies related to water, show a deep respect for the existence of water as a guarantor of survival. In Javanese culture, for example, the siraman ritual is one of the traditions that uses water as a symbol of purity and prayer for blessings. On the other hand, Balinese people practice melukat, a ritual of self-purification using holy water to remove negative energy. The research method used in this article is a qualitative approach with literature analysis from various sources of religion, anthropology, and cultural ethnography. The results of the study show that water not only has a physical role as a source of life, but also becomes a medium of spiritual unification and a symbol of harmony between humans, nature, and the Creator.

Abstract

The aesthetics of mangosteen skin color have unique characteristics compared to other synthetic colors. Aesthetic and dimensional, mangosteen skin color displays natural shades such as light brown, chocolate, brownish, red, purple, and blue. Painting using mangosteen peel is a creative process that begins with picking mangosteen fruit from the garden. Coincidentally, the author became interested in scratching spontaneously. When he split a mangosteen fruit into two equal parts, the author used the mangosteen peel to create a graffiti on the canvas. This technique involves spontaneous movements of the fingers, pressing gently, moderately, and sometimes hard on the canvas. The resulting color effect appears naturally, according to the intensity of the finger movement when scratching the mangosteen skin on the canvas. The painting method using mangosteen peel is carried out spontaneously, following the stages of art creation: existence, exploration, experimentation and evaluation. The creation of paintings using mangosteen peel reflects a creation process that uses fine art elements of light, point, line, space, plane, color, texture and composition. The resulting works of art are titled as line aesthetics: Line Aesthetic 1, Line Aesthetic 2, Line Aesthetic 3, and so on. The use of mangosteen peel color as an alternative medium in painting is driven by the need for creativity to achieve works of art that are new, high quality, meaningful and have high harmonious value.

Abstract

Team management in event organizers is a crucial aspect that influences the success of an event. This research aims to analyze strategies and best practices in team management, as well as their impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of organizing events. The methods used include surveys and interviews with event managers and team members in various organizations. The research results show that effective team management in event organizers is highly dependent on several key factors, including clear communication, appropriate division of tasks, and adequate training. A participative leadership style and good time management also play an important role in achieving event success. By identifying and overcoming existing challenges, event organizers can improve team performance and, ultimately, the quality of the events organized. These findings provide valuable insights for practitioners in this field to develop better team management strategies. Effective team management in event organizers greatly influences the success of the event. With a clear team structure, good communication, problem-solving skills, team member motivation, and a regular evaluation process, event organizers can improve their performance significantly. The investment in management time not only impacts the outcome of the event, but also on client satisfaction and the organization's reputation in the industry.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan pendidikan merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran dan dampak kepemimpinan pendidikan melalui pendekatan kajian pustaka. Beberapa gaya kepemimpinan, seperti kepemimpinan transformasional, situasional, dan instruksional, dianalisis untuk memahami kontribusinya dalam peningkatan kinerja guru, prestasi siswa, dan pengelolaan sumber daya pendidikan. Tantangan digitalisasi dan kebijakan zonasi juga menjadi perhatian dalam kaitannya dengan adaptasi kepemimpinan. Berdasarkan telaah terhadap 15 jurnal nasional, ditemukan bahwa kepemimpinan yang efektif mendorong terciptanya iklim kerja yang kondusif, kolaborasi, dan inovasi dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Selain itu, peran kepala sekolah dalam memimpin perubahan melalui pendekatan adaptif terhadap teknologi memegang peranan penting dalam mendukung tercapainya mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik di era digital. Sebagai kesimpulan, kepemimpinan pendidikan yang kuat dan fleksibel diperlukan untuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Al-Itqon Tahfidzul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School, located in Jombang, East Java, has taken on an important role not only as a center for religious education but also as a driver of local economic development. The boarding school has attempted to integrate educational values ​​with economic initiatives, particularly through the processing and marketing of tuna floss, a local product with great potential but not yet fully marketed. The main obstacles faced include lack of knowledge in product and production, limited market access, and insufficient production capacity. In order to overcome these challenges, this community service activity focused on developing innovative branding strategies and increasing business management capacity for students and the local community. This service program implemented a series of interactive and inclusive methods, including SWOT analysis, intensive training, and socialization sessions designed to facilitate community involvement. The main goal was to not only increase the appeal of the product but also integrate Islamic values ​​into sustainable business practices. The results of this program showed significant increases in production capacity and market access, which positively impacted the income of local producers and created new job opportunities. The implementation of effective digital marketing techniques strengthens the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools and communities, and supports sustainable economic development in other Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Itqon Islamic Boarding School demonstrates the role of Religious Education Institutions in inclusive socio-economic growth.

Abstract

This research is included in Research and Development (R&D) research which aims to develop Instagram-based microblog learning media with buffer solution material that is valid, feasible and practical. This development research uses the Lee & Owens development model which consists of the analysis design, development, implementation and evaluation. This research was carried out at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi with research subjects namely class, student and teacher response questionnaires. Data validation and distribution of questionnaires were carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, the learning media developed has been tested as highly valid by material expert validators with a validity percentage of 84.4% and media experts at 92%. Furthermore, learning media is also very practical for students to use with a practicality percentage of 91% and a practicality percentage from teachers of 89%. From the research results it can be concluded that the media developed is suitable for use in the chemistry learning process, especially buffer solution material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of extracurricular activities in improving the quality of schools at the SMP level in Bireuen Regency. The approach to this study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the study indicate that the planning of extracurricular activities initiated by the UPTD SMP Negeri Bireuen Regency has been implemented well with planning indicators carried out according to targets and objectives. The schedule, time, teacher supervisor and budget/cost of extracurricular activities are also systematically arranged according to the objectives of the extracurricular activity work program. In the organizational process at the UPTD SMP Negeri Bireuen Regency, several components are involved in the management of the extracurricular organizational structure which function to facilitate each division of tasks and train the responsibility of each member. The parties involved in the organizational process at the UPTD SMP Negeri Bireuen Regency are several people, namely the Principal, Vice Principal for Student Affairs, As for the implementation of extracurricular activities, it is held by the vice principal for student affairs under the supervision of the principal. The infrastructure to support the activities is complete and adequate so that in implementing it there are almost no obstacles. For supervisors, this can be in the form of evaluations carried out by various institutions, supervision of extracurricular activities at the UPTD SMP Negeri Bireuen Regency is carried out continuously and sustainably. Every week the supervising teacher submits a report to the extracurricular coordinator.

Abstract

The aim of this research is (1) to analyze how school principals inspire teachers to improve their performance, (2) to analyze how school principals motivate teachers to enhance their performance, (3) to analyze how school principals encourage critical and creative thinking in teachers to improve their performance, and (4) to analyze how school principals address the needs of teachers in improving their performance. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were 3 school principals and 6 teachers from UPTD SD N 6 Juli, UPTD SD N 2 Peudada, and UPTD SD N 8Peudada, with data collection techniques including questionnaires and interviews. The findings of the research conclude that school principals play a crucial role in improving teacher performance through transformational leadership, which includes providing inspiration, motivation, encouragement for critical thinking, and attention to the needs of teachers. By creating a supportive environment, both in terms of facilities, training, and emotional support, school principals can drive improvements in teaching quality and student development. Although teacher performance in Bireuen District is already good, some aspects still require more attention to create an optimal educational environment. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings show that transformational leadership of school principals has a significant impact on teacher performance, learning enhancement, and the creation of a conducive work environment for the professional development of teachers.

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in shaping a quality generation but often face challenges such as work stress. This study aims to analyze the impact of the work environment and workload on teachers' work stress through a literature review using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This approach is utilized to collect and review scientific literature related to two main factors: the work environment and workload.The study findings reveal that the work environment significantly influences teachers' stress levels. An unsupportive environment, such as inadequate facilities, uncomfortable classrooms, and poor interpersonal relationships with colleagues and superiors, can increase stress levels. Additionally, workload is another critical factor. The imbalance between teaching time and time for other activities has been proven to increase pressure on teachers.Furthermore, the findings highlight that these two factors interact in influencing work stress. By creating a supportive work environment and ensuring a balanced workload, teachers can work more effectively without being overwhelmed by excessive pressure. Therefore, this study is crucial for understanding and addressing work stress to enhance the quality of education
