Abstract

This article describes the importance of the concept of STEM-based education in the Indonesia curriculum. STEM-based education is an educational concept that integrates the concept of education into a single unit between Science, Technology, engineering and Mathematics, the concept of STEM education has been developed in various developing and developed countries today. STEM education does not mean only strengthening educational practice in the fields of education separately, but rather developing an educational approach by integrating several subjects such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, by focusing more on the educational process on solving real problems in everyday life. By developing various aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills as well as increasing critical thinking power and being able to form logical thinking in various fields of knowledge based on the applicable 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Online and offline learning will have a different impact on the level of understanding of students about learning materials. In this study the researchers tried to find out how the learning activities of Biology Education students at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung during the pandemic were related to changes in routine during the pandemic which affected the enthusiasm for learning and understanding of lecture material during the pandemic compared to before the pandemic. This research uses descriptive research method because in its implementation it includes data, analysis and interpretation of the meaning and data obtained. This study uses a questionnaire, the list of questions is structured in the form of multiple-choice questions and open questions (multiple choice questions and open questions). This method is used to obtain data about the effect of changes in the routine of Biology Education students during the pandemic on learning enthusiasm and understanding the material from respondents. Biology education students admit that there have been significant changes in their routine during the pandemic period. These changes have an impact on student learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of student resilience and self-regulated learning on student academic achievement in economics subjects. The research method used is an explanatory survey using a questionnaire as a data collection. The population in this study were students of class XI and XII of Social Science senior high school in Cianjur regency for the academic year 2021/2022 and a sample of 237 students was taken using simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that resilience and self-regulated learning had an effect on students' academic achievement in economics subjects

Abstract

Fungi endophytic is microscopic so that the results of the documentation of the research can be documented in the form of a pocket. The book pocket is a media of learning that are practical and easy to carry anywhere. In this pocket-book, outlined that the fungi endophytic obtained on the organs of Ciplukan plants namely roots, stems and leaves. Fungi endophytic obtained four isolate suspected of having a substance compound antimicrobials against pathogenic bacteria. Test the feasibility of a pocket book to be used as a source of learning has been validated by experts learning media and material experts. Validation results show an average of 84.31% resulting in valid criteria. The validators statement based on validation states pocketbooks can be used as a source of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a pocket book in learning biology in order to increase students enthusiasm for learning and is an effort to improve students mastery of concepts. The research was carried out on class X high school students. Data collection was carried out at Ragunan Wildlife Park, Jakarta. The research was carried out in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year, January to June 2020. The method used in this study was the research and development method using the 4-D (Four D) model, namely Define, Design (Design). , Develop (Development), and Disseminate (Spread). The development of teaching materials is carried out in two stages, namely: Expert Validation and Revision of Learning Media. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the pocket book Mammals of the Primate order which was developed with the define, design, develop stage has met the components that are in accordance with KD in the 2013 curriculum, the language used is easy to understand, the presentation of a pocket book that is full of color and the images shown are very supportive of the material. learning so that it can attract the readers attention. The Primate Order Mammals pocket book shows valid results and is suitable for use in biology learning. The average value of expert validation from the content / content aspect was 83.5 percent, the language aspect was 83 percent, and the presentation aspect was 82.5 percent.

Abstract

The Influence of Learning Discipline on Students Independent Learning. Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pakuan University, Bogor 2020. This research is a quantitative study with a causal approach. This study aims to determine the effect of learning discipline on the learning independence of fifth grade students at Gunung Gede State Elementary School, North Bogor District, Bogor City. The population of this study was 117 students with a total sample of 54 students. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The results of the study show that the influence of learning discipline on student learning independence is shown by statistical analysis that shows produce a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.38. This shows that there is an influence between learning discipline on student learning independence, while the coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.14 or 14%. The remaining 86% is determined by another factor. The average student learning independence of 14% is determined by the discipline of learning through the regression equation = 54.93+(0.41X), meaning that each unit increase in the value of learning discipline will cause an increase in student learning independence by 0.41 units. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between learning discipline on student learning independence in fifth grade students of Gunung Gede State Elementary School, North Bogor District, Bogor City, Even Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year.

Abstract

Empathy (Burns and Lesseig, 2017) is a skill that is rarely discussed in planning mathematics lessons. The objective of this research is to initiate and explore how mathematics learning can develop empathy skills to students using STEAM based project. This research use qualitative method, in which the observation was executed when students were developing until launching the application prototype to a limited audience. The application created with Google Sheets was called Your Energy Counter, intended to count the energy gathered from the food consumed by the user. This research revealed how empathy was formed during the project execution and how students are able to reflect on themselves being empathetic to others during mathematics lessons.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Laboratorium Virtual untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep pada materi  sistem sirkulasi. Laboratorium virtual ini dikembangkan sebagai salah satu alternatif solusi keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana laboratorium IPA untuk kegiatan praktikum  yang mampu meningkatkan penguasaan konsep. Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini sudah sangat mendukung untuk melaksanakan simulasi paktikum dalam bentuk laboratorium virtual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan atau Research and Development dengan desain 4-D yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D. Langkah pengembangan meliputi: 1) pengidentifikasian berupa analisis kebutuhan dan studi pendahuluan, 2) perancangan berupa pemilihan model, media, penyusunan tes, pemilihan format berupa flowchart dan 3) pengembangan, berupa pembuatan media dengan menggunakan macromedia flash  CS6 dan validasi ahli media, ahli materi dan pengguna media untuk menilai kelayakan media dan uji pengembangan untuk melihat efektivitas penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran serta tanggapan peserta didik terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media laboratorium virtual. Uji kelayakan media laboratorium virtual oleh ahli media sangat baik dengan prosentase 95 Persen. Hasil uji kelayakan media laboratorium virtual oleh ahli materi sangat baik dengan prosentase  82,14 Persen dan hasil uji kelayakan media oleh tenaga pendidik sebagai pengguna media katagori sangat baik dengan prosentase 94 Persen . Pembelajaran menggunakan media laboratorium virtual pada materi sistem sirkulasi efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep,  ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 31,38 Persen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the progress of feminism in educational management. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with the method of literature. Qualitative descriptive research approach is research that is used for the purpose of providing a qualitative description of the phenomenon or event being studied. Research with the library method is a theoretical study, references, and other scientific literature related to the culture, values, and norms that develop in the social situation under study. From this study, it was found that there are still gaps between women and men, both in terms of education and in terms of occupying job positions in education management. In other words, feminism still needs a long process to be said to have succeeded in achieving its goals.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemahaman nilai Pancasila terhadap kesadaran anti bullying di kalangan mahasiswa PGSD dengan pengambilan data kuesioner yang melibatkan 63  responden sebagai sampel penelitian. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer yang diperolah melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan  adalah analisis regresi sederhana, koefisien korelasi dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara pemahaman nilai Pancasila terhadap kesadaran anti bullying di kalangan mahasiswa PGSD. Pengaruh tersebut dapat dilihat dari persamaan regresi Ŷ = 71,33 – 0,05 X. Besarnya kontribusi pemahamana nilai Pancasila terhadap kesadaran anti bullying di kalangan mahasiswa PGSD ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien determinasi r2 sebesar 0,005. Hal ini berarti peningkatan atau penurunan kesadaran anti bullying di kalangan mahasiswa PGSD dipengaruhi oleh pemahaman nilai Pancasila sebesar 0,05% sedangkan sisanya ditentukan oleh variable lain. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran anti bullying di kalangan mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui pemahaman nilai Pancasila.
