Abstract

Moral decadence that occurs in society is a challenge for educational actors and shows that the goals of national education have not been fully achieved, especially in the aspect of noble character for the nation. In the Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, chapter 3 states that the purpose of national education is to develop the potential of students to become human beings who have faith and piety, have noble character, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become citizens. a democratic and responsiblity. To support the realization of national education goals, strengthening character education is carried out in the form of government regulations to revitalize and strengthen the potential and competence of educators, education staff, students, communities and the family environment. Strengthening national character education must also be carried out on non-educational aspects, such as efforts on economic aspects, law, role models, a conducive environment and elaboration with technological developments. In the aspect of education in Indonesia, we have carried out various reinforcements to strengthen the nation's character, including web-based learning, online student supervision, and online exams.

Abstract

In the course of education in Indonesia, 2020 was a year full of challenges due to the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost all schools in the world are closing classrooms and moving to virtual (online) classrooms. This is a big challenge for teachers, so teachers must find ways to make learning run effectively and efficiently, one way is by gamification. This study aims to explore and analyze the effectiveness of gamification in learning through the Bamboozle platform in increasing Islamic Studies learning motivation conducted on fifth-grade students at SD Islam Sinar Cendekia, South Tangerang. This research uses qualitative research (field research) and uses descriptive analysis methods with sociological and psychological approaches. Sources of research were obtained from the results of interviews with related parties, documentation collection, observation, and triangulation. Data analysis used the theory of Milles and Huberman. The results of the interviews showed that 20 student informants stated that learning activities made the spirit increase because it was fun, not boring, biased to reflect on the material, fun, and happy. This is reinforced by the results of interviews with parents and teachers as well as observations, so it can be concluded that bamboozling is one of the extrinsic factors that can increase students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the implementation of Islamic learning with a scientific approach to learning materials for reading the Koran in high school. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data were collected using document study techniques, interviews, and observations. The results of the study show that in several theoretical aspects of learning, scientific principles have been used because 1) it has included the process of observing, asking questions, gathering information, associating, and communicating; 2) have used several standardized Qur'anic learning methods and through the results of trials or research. The combination of the use of scientific principles and some of the results of trials of the Qur'anic learning method can strengthen the quality of scientific Qur'anic learning and the assessment of learning outcomes becomes more measurable.

Abstract

This paper narrates the failure of character education (morals) in Islamic boarding schools. In the midst of globalization and the era of the industrial revolution, students are required to take part in advancing civilization in the changing times. Responding to this challenge, Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School (PPMH) has developed an educational model through the application of character-based holistic Islamic educational values. Through this model, students are expected to have personality, master knowledge, and noble character in accordance with religious values. This study uses descriptive research methods and a field approach, where the primary sources are obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed: 1) The application of character-based holistic Islamic education values ​​in PPMH was carried out through the inculcation of Holistic Islamic education values ​​from an early age, namely through: a) study of the yellow book, b) Santri independence, c) Santri obedience, d) Santri's respect, e) Santri's responsibility, f) Santri's honesty, g) Santri's tolerance, h) Santri's discipline, i) Santri's mutual cooperation, j) Santri's concern, k) Santri's cooperation, l) Santri's courage, and m) democracy; 2) The relevance of instilling the values ​​of character-based holistic Islamic education in PPMH can be used as a medium in the context of preventing santri radicalism. This application is carried out through the integration of the pesantren curriculum by studying classical books in the context of tafaqquh fiddiin, and trying to realize it in the form of daily practice with habituation and practice accompanied by exemplary examples from teachers, ustadz, or kiai.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation is known as a pluralistic nation (religion, culture, language, customs). The plurality of the nation brings two consequences, namely strength, and conflict. Become a strength if the Indonesian people are able to accept pluralism, and becomes a conflict if they cannot accept pluralism. Of course, we all hope that this plurality will become the strength of the nation. Therefore, it is necessary to build the strength of this nation with its plurality. One of the efforts that can be done to build the strength of religious communities is to build an attitude of religious moderation. Efforts to build students’ religious moderation can be done in various ways, one of which is through problem-based learning. The purpose of this study is to reveal the problem-based learning of the Islamic Religion as an effort to build students’ religious moderation attitudes in public universities. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach and survey. The subjects of this study were Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa students from the faculty of teacher training and education in the Islamic Religion course. Data is collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The research was conducted by observing Islamic religious learning and strengthening it by studying learning documents. The results show that problem-based Islamic learning can shape students' religious moderation attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the golden age, the developmental tasks of infancy, and their implications for Islamic education. The method used in this paper is a type of library research and is complemented by field observations. The results showed that during this period many patterns of behavior and attitudes were formed as well as patterns of emotional expression or known as the golden age. Infancy lasts for the first two years after the newborn period. The golden period of growth and development is a very effective period in maximizing the intelligence potential of every baby to create quality human resources. The stages of human infant development are at the sensorimotor stage. and in infancy physical development can be observed clearly, at the age of six months the growth and development is rapid. At an early age, all aspects of development during the growth period influence each other. That is, in the absence of one of these aspects, whether physical, emotional, intellectual, social or religious, then all aspects of individual development influence each other. The golden age can provide solutions to the problems of Islamic education by developing Kamil's personality from an early age.

Abstract

Upaya dari PTKIN dalam menciptakan insan berakhlakul karimah dan berintelektual tersebut tidak serta merta lahir dari sebuah proses dan sistem yang instan. Kesemuanya harus didukung oleh ketersediaan instrumen dan budaya mutu dari seluruh elemen penyelenggara yang ada di IAIN Metro. Konsistensi dan komitmen manajemen budaya mutu menjadi kata kunci bagi IAIN Metro dalam mencapai kualitas output yang dihasilkan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi dan fakta melalui data-data yang ada di IAIN Metro dalam menjamin komitmen terselenggaranya budaya mutu melalui penerapan ISO 21001:2018. Metode yang digunakan dalam menggali berbagai informasi dan fakta tentang penerapan ISO 21001:2018 dalam kerangka penguatan manajemen mutu pada IAIN Metro dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari pimpinan IAIN Metro, Ketua-Ketua lembaga, dan pimpinan fakultas. Untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi yang valid dan akurat, maka pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui interview, observasi dan dokumentasi, Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah display, data reduction, dan drawing conclussions. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan ISO 21001:2018 dalam memperkuat manajemen budaya mutu di IAIN Metro dilakukan melalui Sistem Manajemen Organisasi Pendidikan (SMOP) dengan menerapkan model tata kelola organisasi yang berkualitas melalui sinergisitas seluruh komponen dan elemen yang ada dengan merujuk pada klausul yang diatur dalam ISO 21001:2018. Memang dalam penguatan manajemen budaya mutu pada IAIN Metro ISO 21001:2018 bukanlah satu-satunya instrumen, tapi kehadiran instrumen tersebut dirasakan mampu menjadi instrumen yang mendukung eksistensi proses, sistem, komitmen dan kebijakan yang diterapkan berdasarkan klausul yang ada pada ISO 21001:2018 tersebut.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze tarbawi's interpretation of the values of education in QS. al-Inshirah. The focus of his research is directed at the interpretation of Mishbah Mushtafa in his book of interpretation al-Iklil which has Javanese nuances. By using the thematic method and content analysis, it was concluded that: First, QS. al-Inshirah is the 94-th letter in the Qur'an. In accordance with its name al-Insyirah, this letter contains an explanation of the courage of the Prophet Muhammad SAW for the harsh rejection of the polytheists for the da'wah he delivered so that the Prophet was victorious. Second, although in general QS. al-Inshirah talksabout the story of the Prophet Muhammad against the polytheists, but in it there are educational values that should be instilled in the souls of all Muslims.There are at least six educational values in the QS. al-Inshirah which is extracted from the interpretation of Mishbah Mushtafa in his commentary book al-Iklil, namely the value of openness, the value of morals, the value of effort (effort), the value of perseverance and perseverance, the value of patience, and the value of monotheism.

Abstract

Education must integrate spiritual and cultural excellence, one of which is by using the media tembang dolanan. Cultural products such as traditional songs can be used as learning media that are infused with religious character values and virtues. One of these songs is Sluku-Sluku Bathok. Sluku-sluku bathok has a rich meaning that the creator wants to convey to the people who hear it. After an in-depth analysis of the song Sluku-Sluku Bathok has religious values that include the dimensions of faith, worship, and morals contained in each lyric. To instil Islamic values based on local wisdom in education, strong support is needed from institutions that care about the importance of these religious values. The school curriculum that has been prepared and implemented well shows that the institution has provided strong support in realising this hope. The approach used to instil local wisdom-based Islamic values to students is to cultivate religious values based on local wisdom, one of which is using this dolanan song. The role playing model is one of the models to implement the Sluku-Sluku Bathok song in PAI learning methodology so that it can internalise religious values.

Abstract

Islamic education (PAI) faces challenges from various aspects. In many cases, disproportionate interpretations of hadith, one of the PAI’s subject, often cause many problems in society. According to the fact, authors suggest innovations in integrative hadith learning with social sciences to respond to challenges in the world of Islamic education. The authors found several findings using a qualitative approach and a literature study model. First, various Islamic educational challenges are rooted in globalization with the advent of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 era. One of the PAI challenges and problems is an atomistic study. Second, various educational innovations were created by the scholars, such as the use of modern information and communication technology (ICT), and the theory of Multiple Intelligence (MI). Third, integrative hadith learning needs to be carried out in the PAI learning, which is interpreted as a material object and social sciences as a formal object. Educators can comprehensively explain the material for discussing hadith comprehensively and have the vision of rahmatan li al-‘alamin. In addition, students will also be able to understand and eliminate the irregularities of the hadith meaning. The authors conclude that integrative hadith learning is very important in PAI learning to respond to the challenges of Islamic education.
