Abstract

This study aims to determine how reward and punishment can affect employeeperformance at Pt. Cakradigdaya Lokaraya. This research with 6 sources in themarkering division is a research written with a qualitative descriptive method thattakes data with observation, interview and observation techniques at Pt. CakradigdayaLokaraya. Cakradigdaya Lokaraya. The results of this study indicate that PtCakradigdaya Lokaraya provides rewards in the form of intenvise every month toemployees who meet project sales targets, year-end vacations for 2 employees andalso promotions, while the punishment given to employees is in the form of late fines,reprimands, sanctions and also the release of positions. While the effect of givingrewards to employees is to motivate employees, provide a sign for an employee if theperformance is superior and also universal in nature so that employees do not feelneglected by the Company. While punishment affects employees by providing adeterrent effect on employees, improving employee discipline, improving performanceresults, evaluating employee performance.

Abstract

This journal reviews the material on multiplication of whole numbers for class III of UPTD SDN 192 Barru. This study aims to determine the material on multiplication of whole numbers in the mathematics learning process in class III of UPTD SDN 192 Barru. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The research instrument is student worksheets (LKPD). The data sources for the study are the results of observations in class, interviews with Mathematics teachers, and students. The results of the study showed that increasing understanding of multiplication of whole numbers using the Problem Basic Learning (PBL) model got good and quite satisfactory results. So it is in accordance with what the teacher expected. In the pre-action cycle, only 1 student completed it and 12 students did not complete it, while in cycle II, 13 students completed it. Overall

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) among third-grade students at UPT SDN 190 Barru through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation and evaluation tests. The results showed significant improvement in students' learning outcomes. In the first cycle, only 25% of students achieved the minimum mastery criterion (KKM) of 70, with an average score of 65.75. However, after implementing improvements in the second cycle, the percentage of students achieving the KKM increased to 80%, with an average score of 79.5. These findings indicate that the PBL model effectively enhances student engagement and learning outcomes in IPAS. The study concludes that PBL is an innovative and effective teaching approach for improving academic performance and developing critical thinking skills among primary school students.

Abstract

This journal reviews the material of Pancasila symbols through the picture and picture learning model for first grade students of UPTD SDN 192 Barru. This study aims to determine the understanding of Pancasila symbols using the picture and picture learning model in the PPKN learning process in first grade of UPTD SDN 192 Barru. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The research instrument is student worksheets (LKPD). The source of research data is the results of observations in class, interviews with homeroom teachers, and students. The results of the study showed that increasing numeracy skills using the picture and picture learning model got good and quite satisfactory results. So it is in accordance with what the teacher expected. In the pre-action cycle, only 4 students completed and 13 students did not complete, while in cycle II, 17 students completed. Overall, student learning outcomes on the material of Pancasila symbols increased at each meeting. The implementation process uses the picture and picture learning model which contains the concept of effective learning on the material of Pancasila symbols in PPKN learning. The impact of the material on the symbols of Pancasila provides a deeper understanding and can understand the content of this material in a more enjoyable, inspiring and meaningful way.

Abstract

An This study explores the role of the director in producing the public service advertisement "Titik Pulang" for the Al-Qomariah Islamic Boarding School Foundation. The film aims to introduce moral values to a broader audience, emphasizing the importance of appreciating those around us, particularly family, to avoid regret in the future. Additionally, the film seeks to build a positive image of the Al-Qomariah Foundation as an institution dedicated to education and child protection while providing a safe environment for underprivileged children. The production process involved several stages, including developing the story concept, creating the synopsis, drafting the treatment, and writing the script. After the pre-production phase, the process continued with shooting and editing. As the director, the creator played a strategic role in translating creative ideas into visually communicative and meaningful forms. The director also supervised every detail of the production, ensuring that all elements supported the narrative and maintained the consistency of the conveyed message. The short film "Titik Pulang" was not only designed as an academic requirement to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies but also as an educational medium for society. Its moral message is expected to inspire audiences to appreciate family and their surroundings. Moreover, this work aligns with the vision of the Al-Qomariah Foundation in promoting education and child protection as efforts to build a sustainable society for the future

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Cash Turnover and Receivables Turnover on Profitability. The population used in this research consists of all mining sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. This research employs a quantitative method. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, based on specific criteria that have been determined. The total population of mining companies is 81, and after applying the sampling criteria, 11 companies were selected, resulting in 55 samples over a five-year period. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of financial statements obtained from the website www.idx.co.id and from each company’s respective website. The analytical technique employed in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, using IBM SPSS 26 software. The results of the study indicate that Cash Turnover does not have an effect on Profitability. The results for Receivables Turnover show that it does not have an effect on Profitability. However, the simultaneous results indicate that both Cash Turnover and Receivables Turnover have a significant effect on Profitability.

Abstract

The flow of globalization that is getting faster continues to demand an employee to have good performance. Technological advances can shift employees who perform poorly by retiring early or taking a position. Employees are required to have adequate work skills and good work discipline so that their performance is maintained. This study aims to determine effect of work ability and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT Sooplai Indonesia (Warung Pintar Mediterania) either partially or simultaneously. This study used quantitative methods with survey methods and data collection techniques using questionnaires. The population in this study were employees of PT Sooplai Indonesia (Smart Distribution Warung), specifically for the Cakung warehouse, namely 94 people. The sample of this study used the slovin formula, namely 48 people. While the data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, multiple regression, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that work ability and work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Sooplai Indonesia (Warung Pintar Distribution). Partially, work ability has a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Sooplai Indonesia (Smart Distribution Warung), while work discipline has no significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Sharia-based economic and business strategies at Laskar Bima Craft (LBC) at STIT Sunan Giri Bima. LBC implements Sharia principles such as profit-sharing systems, transparency, and avoiding prohibited practices such as usury and gharar in its business operations. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design to deeply understand the implementation of Sharia strategies by LBC. The results of the study indicate that LBC applies the principle of honesty in transactions and builds trust with customers through quality products. However, LBC faces challenges in the form of a low public understanding of Sharia economics and limited access to Sharia financing. To overcome these obstacles, LBC seeks to improve Sharia education, diversify financing sources, and continue to innovate in product development. This study suggests that LBC strengthen the socialisation of Sharia concepts to the community and develop member capacity to ensure competitiveness in the local market.

Abstract

The reading ability of grade 1 students at SB Klang Lama Malaysia is influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors such as the physiological, intellectual, and psychological of students. Meanwhile, external factors come from family backgrounds and economic factors experienced by students. The purpose of this study is to find out how internal and external factors can affect students' reading ability. In this study, the author uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive research type. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews and documentation. With data analysis techniques using data analysis including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing data conclusions. The results of this study show that students' varying reading ability is highly determined by internal factors and external factors of students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the meaning and cultural values of umpasa at the Mangongkal Holi ceremony in Pangaloan Village. The problem studied is what are the meanings contained in the Mangongkal Holi ceremony and what cultural values are contained in the Mangongkal Holi ceremony. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The data collection method used is the listening and speaking method. With fishing techniques, skillful involvement, recording and note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed using Robet Sibarani's anthropolinguistic theory (2004: 50), Mansoer Pateda's theory of meaning (2001: 230), and Sibarani's local wisdom theory (2014: 121). The results of the research show that there are two meanings of umpasa in the Mangongkal Holi ceremony, namely the five meanings of advising and the fifteen meanings of expecting something. There are thirteen cultural values found in the umpasa at the Mangongkal Holi ceremony of the Toba Batak community, namely three religious cultural values, two politeness cultural values, three harmony cultural values, two commitment cultural values, two positive thinking cultural values, two cultural values gratitude is three, the cultural value of health is two, the cultural value of gender is two, the cultural value of preservation is two, the cultural value of creativity is one, the cultural value of prosperity is four, the cultural value of mutual cooperation is one and the cultural value of hard work is two.
