Abstract

The area around Sungai Kakap Market is a traditional market on the banks of the Kakap River which is popular as a tourist destination. With the river as the main tourism attraction, this research aims to identify the riparian culture of the local community; identify eco-cultural tourism aspects; and how the riparian culture supports eco-culture tourism around Sungai Kakap Market. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through observation and in-depth interviews. The research results show that riparian culture is visible in the use of rivers for subsistence needs and socio-economic activities; the dimension of eco-culture tourism in the area around Sungai Kakap Market can be seen in community participation in driving river tourism; Riparian culture has not provided positive support for eco-culture tourism because there is no system for managing negative impacts on the environment from community activities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning approach, in terms of the problem-solving ability aspect of STKIP Hamzar Semester I Students for the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a pre-posttest control group design. This research used two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The research population included all Semester I students of the PGSD STKIP Hamzar study program in three classes. From the existing population, two classes I A and Class I) were randomly taken as research samples. Learning basic mathematics concepts in class I A uses a Jigsaw Cooperative learning approach and learning in class I B uses a conventional approach. The instrument of this research is a test of mathematical problem solving abilities. To determine the difference in influence between the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning approach group and the conventional approach used, an independent sample T-test was carried out to see which variables contributed to the difference. The results of the research show that there is a difference in the influence of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning approach and the conventional approach on aspects of the mathematical problem solving abilities of Semester I STKIP Hamzar students.From the research results, it was found that the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning approach had a more positive effect on the mathematical problem solving abilities of first semester STKIP Hamzar students.

Abstract

The Cultural Saturday Program is an innovative effort to integrate local Sasak cultural values into character education in elementary schools in Mataram, Indonesia. This research evaluates the implementation, effectiveness and challenges of the program, while providing recommendations for future improvements. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis at SDN 43 Mataram and SD Hadi Sakti. The findings show that there is a structured program that is supported by a strong policy foundation and effective design, although there are challenges in the form of limited funding and minimal parental involvement. This program successfully instills values such as discipline, tolerance and social responsibility through culturally relevant activities. Recommendations include increasing financial support, increasing parental involvement, and utilizing digital technology to enrich cultural learning. This research contributes to discussions about culture-based education and its role in forming character holistically.

Abstract

Sharia-based investment in the Indonesian capital market has experienced rapid development along with increasing public awareness of the importance of sharia principles in economic activities. This study aims to examine the application of sharia business ethics in investment on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), especially in stocks listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Using a literature study method, this study explores the application of sharia principles such as fairness, transparency, and the prohibition of usury in capital market investment. The results of the study indicate that the application of sharia business ethics not only strengthens investor confidence but also increases the growth of sharia financial instruments in Indonesia. However, several challenges such as the lack of sharia financial literacy and regulatory barriers still require more attention. This study is expected to contribute to developing a fairer and more inclusive sharia capital market.

Abstract

Humans are cultural creatures. Each region, tribe, language and group can have a different culture. Culture is influenced by the surrounding environment. Habits that are continuously carried out together will become a popular culture that is easily spread like vaping. Vaping is an innovation in technology and is a transformation from conventional cigarettes to electronic cigarettes. Throughout its journey, vaping has experienced many changes, starting from regulations, form, type, to function. Some people use vape because of necessity, and some people use vape because of their lifestyle. This lifestyle is based on the word "hobby" and when individuals meet other individuals with the same background there will be something in common. From this new communities emerged with the same object. The growth of the community will provide opportunities for many producers, especially in the vape sector. Producers use events as a commercial medium. One of the biggest vape events in Indonesia is the Java International Vape Expo 2024. This research will analyze event management and its correlation with the vapers community in Indonesia using qualitative methods. Java international vape expo 2024 not only showcases vape products and innovations, but is also a platform to improve the vape community through social interaction and learning. Every step from initial research to final evaluation plays an important role in creating an unforgettable experience for all involved, especially in realizing the "Indonesian Vapers People's Party". So this event is able to create a space for connection between vapers throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

The teacher's teaching style must be in accordance with the student's learning style. This is the same as the teacher's teaching style, which is the learning style of Chatib students, (2016). If teachers and educators already know the learning style that each individual has in the classroom, then this will help teachers in determining a good and more effective learning plan. Based on the results of the pre-observation conducted by the author, information was obtained that there were several students who during learning focused on the learning process given by the teacher. Other students who were mainly in the back position were lazy. In addition, there are students who like to disturb their friends to study. This observation shows the difference in learning styles of the students. This research is a type of correlational descriptive quantitative research. The population used in this study is 131 students registered in the 2024/2025 school year with a sample of 98 students selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection in this study uses a learning style questionnaire and report card scores for learning outcomes. The data was processed using percentage analysis techniques and to test the relationship of the analysis data using the Pearson product moment formula. The results of the study found that in general, the learning style of SMPN 42 Padang students is in the sufficient category. Then, the learning outcomes of SMPN 42 Padang students are in the poor category. After conducting a correlation test analysis using the SPSS program, the results showed that there was a positive relationship between learning style and learning outcomes of SMP 42 Padang students with a correlation coefficient value of X and Y variables of 0.227 with a level of 0.024 with a total of 98 students.

Abstract

Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is the result of the merger of three Islamic banks, namely BRI Syariah, Bank Mandiri Syariah, and BNI Syariah, which became a new entity. The availability of various Islamic bank products such as services and products, makes Islamic banks a credible financial system that can be enjoyed by all levels of society. However, problems in terms of service often occur in the implementation of financial activities. This problem can cause complaints from customers. Customer complaints usually develop when the customer's impression of the desired service is different from what is expected. The objectives of this study are 1) To determine the quality of service to customer loyalty of all Bank Syariah Indonesia Branches under the coordination of Region IV Jakarta 1. 2) To determine the handling of complaints against Bank Syariah Indonesia customer loyalty in all branches under the coordination of Region IV Jakarta 1. 3) To determine the quality of service and handling of complaints simultaneously on the loyalty of Bank Syariah Indonesia customers in all branches under the coordination of Region IV Jakarta 1. The research method used is the correlation method with quantitative research type. The research results are as follows: 1) Based on the results of regression analysis partially customer loyalty has a significant effect on service quality, this is indicated by the Sig value. customer loyalty variable is smaller than  or 0.000 <0.05. 2) Based on the results of partial regression analysis, it is concluded that Complaint Handling has a significant effect on service quality, this is indicated by the Sig value. the Complaint Handling variable is smaller than  or 0.000 <0.05. 3) Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, it is concluded that customer loyalty and Complaint Handling jointly affect service quality by 97.5% while the remaining 2.5% is influenced by other factors outside this research model, then from the results of the F test it is concluded that customer loyalty and Complaint Handling jointly affect service quality because the Sig. value is smaller than  or 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a guidebook for designing teaching modules for Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at SMAIT Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka to enhance the quality of learning. The research utilized the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The validity of the product was tested through assessments by media and content experts, while practicality and effectiveness aspects were evaluated through field trials involving PAI teachers. The results indicate that the guidebook achieved a very high validity level, with an average score of 4.18 from media experts (83.7%) and 4.14 from content experts (82.8%). The practicality aspect was rated very good, with an average score of 4.12 (82.8%), highlighting that the guidebook is engaging and beneficial for teachers. Furthermore, the effectiveness test showed a significant improvement in teachers' understanding of module design, with the average score increasing from 3.6 (categorized as "Good") to 4.5 (categorized as "Very Good") after using the guidebook. These findings indicate that the developed guidebook is valid, practical, and effective for classroom implementation. The study's implications include strengthening teachers' capacity to design innovative learning and contributing to Islamic education literature in the context of module development. Further development is recommended to ensure the guidebook’s flexibility across various educational contexts and school levels.

Abstract

The elderly or elderly group is part of the demographic structure of a country, including Indonesia. This research aims to investigate in depth the dynamics of stigma towards the elderly in Indonesia in the future, taking into account factors of social, cultural and technological change. The research approach used is qualitative with descriptive analysis. The analysis tool used is SWOT. The research results show that stigma towards the elderly is still dominant, with the perception that the elderly are an unproductive group and are a burden on the family. In addition, there are differences in perceptions between the younger and older generations, as well as the influence of social and technological changes on the development of stigma in the future. Therefore, this research not only provides an understanding of current conditions, but also opens up insight into possible changes in stigma towards the elderly along with social, economic and technological developments.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Merdeka Curriculum implementation on student learning outcomes, particularly at the secondary education level. The Merdeka Curriculum, introduced in 2022, aims to provide flexibility and freedom in the learning process, with an emphasis on project-based approaches and holistic development of student competencies. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection through questionnaires distributed to teachers and students at MTsN 1 Kotim. The results showed that the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum increased students' engagement, motivation, and learning achievement. In addition, teachers are required to be more creative in designing fun learning methods. However, challenges such as limited resources, student workload, and adaptation to curriculum changes are still obstacles. This study concludes that Merdeka Curriculum has great potential to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, with a note that it needs support in the form of teacher training, supporting facilities, and continuous evaluation.
