Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership, work discipline, work motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance at Alfamart Megaregency Branch. The research sample includes all employees, totaling individuals. The data utilized in this study comprise primary data gathered through literature reviews and secondary data collected via questionnaires, interviews, and direct observation. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, preceded by a series of tests such as validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, descriptive analysis, as well as significance tests (t-test and F-test). This research is expected to contribute significantly to the academic literature on human resource management, particularly in understanding the relationship between leadership, work discipline, motivation, and job satisfaction in enhancing employee performance.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that until now does not have a law that specifically regulates the protection of personal data. Lately, there are many cases in the community regarding the misuse of personal data. Especially with the ease with which people access the internet, so that the misuse of personal data through electronic media will spread rapidly. In the field of health services, personal data of patients cannot be separated from the possibility of misuse. It will be even more dangerous if the personal data is a track data of the patient's medical record which is very confidential.  The research method used is normative juridical, the approach method is more emphasized on the law, the source of legal material is the law, and the type of collection of legal materials is literature study. The results of this study are the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in health services aimed at improving access, efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of medical processes involving medical service organizations in hospitals, clinics, health centers, medical practitioners both doctors and therapists, laboratories, pharmacies, insurance also involves patients as consumers. However, in the service process using the E-health program will collect a number of consumer personal data which is sensitive personal data and raises new legal problems, namely the extent to which health service providers can protect patients' personal data, which can be accessed, disseminated more easily through ICT advances. Until now, the existing regulations (existing law) have not provided maximum protection for patient's personal data because the regulation is still sectoral and scattered in several laws and regulations.

Abstract

The House of Represe  natives of the Republic of Indonesia (House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia) is one of the highest state institutions in the Indonesian constitutional system. The House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia functions as the people's representative who has the authority to make laws, supervise the implementation of laws, and give approval to the budget proposed by the government. The method used in this study is descriptive. The population in this study is the entire workforce of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia and the research sample is 50 Expert Workers of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. The research was carried out by distributing questionnaires of 10 questions on variable X and 10 questions on variable Y.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has obligations, one of which is public services in an effort to meet the needs of the community, provide fair services, and improve the welfare of citizens. Quality services play an important role in building public trust in government, especially at levels of government that are closer to the community, such as urban villages. The ideal condition in the implementation of good governance and public services is the fulfillment of all aspects that become service standards effectively, efficiently, and oriented towards community satisfaction. In Kelurahan Blabak, Kecamatan Pesantren Kota Kediri, various public services that are often provided face challenges in terms of quality and responsiveness. This research method uses a qualitative approach that describes improving the quality of public services through good governance with the theory of strategy from Osborne and Plastrik which consists of; Core Strategy, Consequences Strategy, Customer Strategy, Control Strategy, Culture Strategy. The results showed that the strategy of improving the quality of public services through good governance in Blabak Village, Pesantren Subdistrict, Kediri City is running quite well.

Abstract

This research aims to open up the public's view that perpetrators of bullying also need to receive special attention, not just be judged and considered completely wrong. One of the main factors in bullying occurs due to a lack of concern from the surrounding environment. By using a qualitative approach through source triangulation method towards students who bully at MTS Nurul Ummah, and those closest to them. The research results show that internal and external factors are the biggest causes of bullying. This lack of concern extends to perpetrators who want to be seen and be the center of attention. This research recommends handling bullying perpetrators by not judging the perpetrators, providing a form of concern for the perpetrators, and providing a sense of responsibility to the perpetrators so that the perpetrators can learn from healthy experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on performance which is mediated by work discipline in employees of the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning in Central Halmahera Regency. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were 49 respondents, this study used a saturated sampling technique where all populations were sampled.  The analytical tool used is path analysis with the help of the SPSS 29 program. The results showed that the work environment has no significant effect on employee performance, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on work discipline, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and  work discipline can mediate the influence of the work environment on employee performance.

Abstract

Enforcement of international law against drug smuggling in Indonesia. Drug smuggling is a serious issue that affects the country's social and economic stability. Indonesia, as a country that has the widest borders with other countries, is an important point in regional drug movements. International law plays an important role in enforcing laws against drug smuggling, but its implementation in Indonesia still faces various challenges. This journal examines how international law is applied in the Indonesian context, including the role of the government, international institutions and society in enforcing the law against drug smuggling. Apart from that, this journal also explores the impact of drug smuggling on Indonesian society and the strategies that can be implemented to overcome this problem. The research results show that international law enforcement requires close cooperation between various parties, including the government, international institutions, and society. This journal hopes to provide new insights into how international law can be more effective in law enforcement against drug smuggling in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the principal's academic supervision in improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at MTs Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with academic supervision approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation with the principal and PAI teachers as the main subjects of the research. The results showed that the academic supervision conducted by the principal has been running well, using various techniques such as clinical supervision, class visits, class observations, teacher meetings, evaluations, and follow-ups. Clinical supervision is the main method in providing guidance to teachers, while classroom visits and observations help in assessing teaching effectiveness. Evaluation is conducted periodically to assess the impact of supervision on improving teachers' professionalism. Follow-up in the form of individual coaching and additional training is also provided to teachers who still have shortcomings. The results of this study are in line with the theory of academic supervision which emphasizes the importance of guidance and monitoring in improving the quality of learning. Therefore, the implementation of systematic and sustainable academic supervision needs to be continuously developed to support the improvement of the quality of education in madrasah.

Abstract

Service excellence is a crucial element in the business sector, including Warung Tegal (Warteg) in Bekasi City, which faces intense competition in the culinary industry. Although many Wartegs offer affordable prices and varied menus, not all can provide satisfactory service. Shortcomings such as slow service, lack of staff friendliness, and inadequate cleanliness can affect customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to measure the relationship and influence of service excellence quality on customer satisfaction at Warteg outets in Bekasi City. Focusing on aspects such as service speed, friendliness, cleanliness, menu variety, affordability, and location convenience, this research involved 100 respondents selected through incidental sampling techniques. Data were analyzed using linear regression tests, validity, reliability, normality, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity tests. The findings reveal that Service Excellence quality significantly impacts customer satisfaction, contributing 74.8% to its variance. The regression equation Y=5.492+1.060XY = 5.492 + 1.060XY=5.492+1.060X indicates that an improvement in service quality directly enhances customer satisfaction levels. This study provides practical insights for Warteg entrepreneurs to improve service quality, thereby boosting customer loyalty and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in improving student learning discipline at SMA Negeri 06 Bombana through the application of National Education Standards (SNP), which include process standards, management standards, and educator and education personnel standards. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data validity is ensured through triangulation, while analysis is conducted using Fishbone Analysis, identifying the causes and solutions to student discipline issues. The findings indicate that the implementation of Process Standards through planning, execution, and evaluation of learning contributes positively to enhancing student discipline. Management Standards are applied through student council (OSIS) empowerment, strict teacher supervision, and periodic evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of discipline programs. Meanwhile, Educator and Education Personnel Standards focus on improving teacher competencies in instilling discipline values and serving as role models for students. The application of TQM in school management has proven effective in fostering a sustainable discipline culture among both students and educators. With an approach involving all stakeholders, the school has successfully created an academic environment that is conducive and oriented toward character development.
