Abstract

The phenomenon of fatherlessness, characterized by the physical or psychological absence of a father, has become a relevant issue in Indonesian education. This study aims to analyze the impact of fatherlessness on students' academic performance, the challenges faced by school counselors in addressing such students, and strategies implemented through Islamic Counseling Guidance (BKI). The research employs a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews and library research. The participants were experienced school counselors at SMK Negeri 04 Surakarta. The findings reveal that psychological fatherlessness significantly affects students' motivation and academic performance. School counselors face challenges such as lack of family support and resource limitations. BKI-based strategies, such as spiritual counseling and family relationship mediation, were found effective in improving the psychological state and academic outcomes of fatherless students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of picture story media to improve the ability to read aloud in grade 4 elementary school students. This research took place in grade 4 students at Nagrak 1 Elementary School in Nagrak District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, consisting of 30 students. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) Kemmis and Mc Taggart model research design which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, action and observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques use practical reading aloud tests, and non-tests in the form of observation, field notes and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative. Indicators for reading aloud consist of 1) pronunciation, 2) intonation, 3) reading speed, 4) pauses, 5) understanding of the material. Based on the comparative percentage of completeness of learning outcomes for each cycle, there is an increase in reading aloud skills after implementing picture story media, seen from the results of the percentage of completeness of students who meet the KKM (75) pre-cycle, namely 23% or 7 students, in the first cycle it is 57% or 17 students ,and cycle II amounted to 83% or 25 students. In the pre-cycle to cycle I there was an increase of 34.% and in cycle I to cycle II there was an increase of 26%, so providing action through these two cycles can improve students' ability to read aloud. Therefore, the application of picture story media succeeded in improving reading aloud skills and the research was stopped in cycle II based on predetermined success indicators.

Abstract

This research is triggered by one of the common problems encountered in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) learning, which is the low interest of students, resulting in difficulties in mastering the subject matter according to their individual learning styles. The teaching materials used have not helped students think critically, creatively, and learn independently in accordance with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to produce a valid and practical e-LKPD based on Project-Based Learning for computer network material, so it can be used as teaching material for ICT. This type of research is development research (R&D) using the 4- D development model. The stages used in this development model are: Definition Stage, Design Stage, Development Stage, and Dissemination Stage. The subjects of this study are 10th-grade students from SMA Negeri X Guguak. The instruments used in the research are validity and practicality questionnaires, which are used to assess the practicality of the e-LKPD for students. The validity result of the Project-Based Learning-based e-LKPD is 90.3%, categorized as very valid. There is no final practicality score for the ICT teacher e-LKPD because there is only one ICT teacher, who serves as the material validator. The final practicality score for the student e- LKPD is 84.2%, categorized as very practical. Based on the research results, it canbe concluded that the Project-Based Learning-based e-LKPD on computer network material for 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri X Guguak is valid and practical.

Abstract

This article examines the concept of human nature fitrah based on the Qur'an as a philosophical foundation for the development of education using descriptive-qualitative approach. Human nature, reflecting the innate inclination toward goodness, faith, and obedience to Allah, serves as a critical basis for creating a holistic education system. In the Qur'an, fitrah is described as an inherent human trait aligned with truth, as mentioned in QS. Ar-Rum: 30. The article highlights the relevance of fitrah-based education in addressing the challenges of the modern era, such as moral decline, materialism, and the erosion of spiritual values. Fitrah-based education emphasizes the balance between spiritual, moral, and intellectual dimensions to shape individuals who are not only intellectually capable but also morally upright. Through this approach, Islamic education is expected to foster a generation of faithful, virtuous individuals who actively serve as Allah’s servants and leaders on earth. This study aims to explore the concept of human nature in the Qur'an and examine its application as a philosophical foundation in developing an education system rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

his study aims to develop the Busy Book learning media to enhance early childhood recognition of alphabet letters at Raudhatul Athfal Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), which includes needs analysis, design, validation, trials, and evaluation. Validation was conducted by media and content experts to assess the feasibility of Busy Book as a learning medium. The validation results indicate that the aspects of design, clarity, and efficiency were rated as highly valid by media experts, with an average score of 4.47. Meanwhile, content experts rated the presentation and ease of use as highly valid, with an average score of 4.22, although the language aspect was categorized as valid with a score of 3.6. Practicality tests showed that Busy Book is highly practical, with a 96.15% score for attractiveness and an average of 80% for content, language, and illustrations. Effectiveness tests revealed that 70% of students reached the "expected development" and "very well-developed" categories after using Busy Book. These findings indicate that Busy Book is an effective and practical learning medium for improving early childhood alphabet recognition. It serves as an engaging and interactive alternative for learning in RA (Raudhatul Athfal). However, improvements in language and visual aspects are still needed to enhance its effectiveness.

Abstract

Narrative is a type of discourse that aims to clearly describe to the reader an event that occured at a given time. To write a narrative is to recount an event or fact that occured at a given time, using written language. Such storytelling activity can help improve literacy. Literacy refers to an individual's capacity to comprehend and interpret information via reading and writing tasks. Students possessing proficient reading and writing abilities will find it easier to understand and articulate their thoughts. This study aimed to ascertain the correlation between storytelling skills and literacy among second-grade primary school pupils in Surakarta. This study employed a quantitative research methodology with a cross-sectional design and included one test. Data were gathered through story and literacy assessment sheets. The sample was acquired by quota sampling methods, comprising 50 individuals. The data analysis employed the parametric Shapiro-Wilk statistical and Spearman's Rank correlation tests. According to the data analysis findings utilizing Spearman's rank, the p-value (Sig.) is 0.002, indicating that p<0.05; thus, we may conclude that a significant link exists between storytelling skill and literacy. A correlation exists between narrative proficiency and literacy among second-grade elementary students in Surakarta.

Abstract

Development of a Library Automation System Using SLiMS in the Department of Curriculum & Educational Technology, Padang State University. In the current digital era, university libraries are expected to be able to adapt to developments in information and communication technology. An ideal library should be able to provide fast and easy access to information resources, whether in print or digital form. Meanwhile, the fact found in the field is that there are still many libraries that still use manual systems in library management. One of them is the library of the Department of Curriculum & Educational Technology, Padang State University. This of course causes various problems. Therefore, this research aims to develop a library management system that was previously manual into a library automation system using SLiMS 9 Bulian software. This type of research is R&D using the fourD (4D) model. This research consists of 4 stages, namely: definition, design, development and dissemination. The system validity test was carried out by two system experts from lecturers at the Department of Curriculum & Educational Technology, Padang State University. Practicality tests are carried out for literacy unit administrators and library users. Based on the system expert validator's assessment, an average percentage result was obtained of 92% with the criteria "Very valid". The practicality test results obtained an average score of 4.75 in the "Very Practical" category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the criteria used for development using cartoon and comic learning media. The data used for developing cartoon media products are quantitative data and qualitative data. research results shows the development of text comic cartoon media in comic cartoons can well readable proportional layout (layout of text and images) on cartoons comics have good compatibility with the selection of backgrounds in comic cartoons the suitability of selecting fonts and font sizes in cartoon comics accuracy images used for clarity of material in suitability comic cartoons pictures with material, the presentation of the material is in order, the description of the material is very clear, visual communication, communicative, simple and engaging, creative so it can developed as a medium of learning in schools.

Abstract

The National and Political Unity Agency in West Sumbawa Regency is regulated in West Sumbawa Regent Regulation Number 68 of 2019 concerning the Position, Organizational Structure, Duties and Functions and Work Procedures of the National and Political Unity Agency of West Sumbawa Regency.  Political Education organized by Bakesbangpol is a means of shaping leadership character in the younger generation.  When looking at the considerable potential of the younger generation, it is undeniable that political education is very important to be delivered early and known, understood by the people of Indonesia and the younger generation so that the people do not become political objects but also act as political subjects. Research Objectives 1) To describe the Role of the National and Political Unity Agency in the implementation of political education for novice voters facing the 2024 Concurrent Elections in West Sumbawa Regency, 2) to describe the Mechanism of the Political Education Program for the political awareness of novice voters facing the 2024 Concurrent Elections in West Sumbawa Regency.This study used descriptive research with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation, with the Head of Kesbangpol as the key informant. The results of the study showed that the implementation of political education programs was carried out online and offline with material on nationalism and patriotism, national leadership, political leadership of the younger generation, national education policy. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of political education programs is carried out online and offline, the mechanism of political education programs by involving stakeholders. Suggestions required budgetary interventions from central, provincial and district governments for political education programs.

Abstract

Substansi interoperabilitas e-government  di Kabupaten Maros merupakan suatu keharusan atas tuntutan zaman di era digitalisasi. Hal ini didukung oleh komitmen pemerintah pusat yang berkomitmen mengedepankan pelayanan prima terhadap stakeholder di berbagai aspek. Olehnya suatu kenaifan jika pemda tidak memberikan dukungan penuh terhadap program e-government pemerintah pusat.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu fenomenologis dan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah trianggulasi yaitu: survey, interviuw, dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan koleksi data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kabupaten Maros yaitu 1) Komitmen peneranan e-government pelayanan publik menujukkan bahwa cukup mendapat respon dari stakeholder, namun SDM masih mengalai kendala teknis terhdap peneranan Teknologi Informasi. Akan tetapi dari aspek pola komunikasi cukup intens, sedangkan 2) Pengoptimalan e-government pelayanan publik memperlihatkan bahwa mengukur derajat interaksi yang diciptakan dari sistem yang terstruktur dengan menerbitkan pola untuk berinteraksi dan bertransaksi via digital. Namun realisasinya belum optimal karena secara riil beberapa pelayanan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah masih menggunakan cara-cara yang manual seperti proses pembuatan KTP, akta kelahiran, kartu keluarga, dan lain- lain.
