Abstract

This study was conducted to see the extent to which the role of teachers in the introduction of early childhood digital literacy during the COVID-19 pandemic in kindergartens throughout Pauh Duo District, South Solok Regency. This study resulted that the overall average role of teachers in the introduction of digital literacy in early childhood during the Covid-19 pandemic in kindergartens in the Pauh Duo District, Solok - South Regency showed a figure of 57.42% in the less category with a score of <62 .5%, that is, it can be said that the role of teachers in the introduction of digital literacy in early childhood is in the less category, and it is necessary to increase the digital literacy competence of teachers in kindergartens in Pauh Duo Sub-district, Solok Regency - South.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing literacy at an early age. In this New Normal era, parents play an important role in educating children from home, including in the development of children's literacy. The purpose of this study is to find out parental support is in developing children's literacy from home during the New Normal period in Raudhatul Iman Kindergarten, Kampung Jua Village, Padang City. This research was conducted by using the quantitative descriptive method. Sampling used a total sampling technique, namely 31 parents at Raudhatul Iman Kindergarten in the 2020/2021 academic year. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed online. Meanwhile, for data analysis using percentage classification. The findings of this study reveal that parental support in (1) in the development of children's literacy in the new normal period is in Good criteria, (2) children's literacy development at home during the new normal from the aspect of vocabulary skills is in Good Criteria, and (3) the development of children's literacy at home during the new normal period from the aspect of Skill Motivation is in the Good Criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of creative play activities mosaic using wallpaper material on motor skills smooth in children aged 5-6 years in e-school Kindergarten. Types of research This is research. The approach used in this research is quantitative approach with the type of research Quasi Experiment Design. Subject This research is children aged 5-6 years Kindergarten e-school. Object This research is fine motor ability. Data collection technique using descriptive analysis techniques and statistical analysis techniques nonparametric. The results showed that fine motor skills children aged 5-6 years in e-school Kindergarten can be improved through Mosaic creation play activities

Abstract

The development of language skills in children aged 4-5 years often experience obstacles in conversation, delivery or expression and talking to other people. The problem that occurs in children aged 4-5 years in the A6 group RA Muslimat NU Masyithoh 05 Banyurip Ageng Pekalongan City is that the development of children's language skills in terms of syntactic and semantic aspects of children is still not well developed. The purpose of simple storytelling activities is to determine the development of children's language skills, especially in the syntactic and semantic aspects. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research site is at RA Muslimat NU Masyithoh 05 Banyurip Ageng, Pekalongan City. The research period is from May 29 to June 11, 2021. The research subjects were 2 students in group A6 with an age range of 4-5 years with data sources from 15 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of a study conducted for approximately 2 weeks with a sample of 2 children showed that through simple storytelling, children aged 4-5 years old could develop language skills.

Abstract

Language Development Children aged 4-5 years are basically able to pronounce conversations correctly and are able to say what they want. However, in the daily life of children aged 4-5 years, there are those who have delays in language development or are less clear in the pronunciation of letters. The purpose of this study is that researchers want to examine the language development of children who experience delays with the method of phonetic and semantic stages. The method used by the researcher is classroom action with a variety of role-playing and sound playing. The results of the study indicate that the language of RR has significant increase, namely, RR is willing to communicate with his peers and pronounces the letter S clearly.

Abstract

The brain development approach is an important concern in the care and development of early childhood because as it has been previously known that the brain is in control of a human's life. This study aims to determine the urgency of art learning for optimizing early childhood learning in neuroscience review. This type of research is a literature study. Sources of data used in this study are in the form of books, journals, theses, seminar proceedings and others. The results showed that art activities engage all the senses and help regulate the nerves in the brain to process information very well while learning. Incorporating art into learning can activate more regions of the brain. Individuals engaged in art can increase spontaneity and self-expression, control limited inhibitory effects, and produce creative work.

Abstract

Abstract During the COVID-19 pandemic, as is currently the case, various activities are limited not only in office activities but also teaching and learning activities are also limited, so that education which is usually carried out face-to-face or offline must be carried out using the distance education method or called online. This study uses qualitative methods and data analysis in this study will use a qualitative verification which is carried out in three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data reduction process includes the selection process, focusing on data simplification, abstraction and transformation of rough data obtained in the field. The objects in this research are educators, parents, students at RA Al Jauhariyyah Kajen. The results of this study are the role of educators in the implementation of distance/online learning is not only preparing material for students, but also being communicators who play an active role in guarding parents in accompanying children during the online learning process. Online learning plans have been designed in such a way and involve parents in determining competencies/indicators during online learning, designing children's activities, materials and children's learning resources prepared by the institution to make it easier for parents to accompany children during online learning. Abstract

This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive method, the subject and informants are the principal and teachers and children of group B at RA Hidayatus Shibyaan, which is located on Jln. Veterans Market 6 Manunggal Kab. Deli Serdang. Data collection methods used is observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the creativity of the principal of RA Hidayatus Shibyaan in applying the ability to read the Al-Qur’an for children, namely through the guidance of RA teachers holding meetings, teacher professional training, direct monitoring of the learning process, and the implementation of al-Al-Qur’an learning with the Iqro method through daily routine. The inhibiting factors in the implementation of creativity are work, less enthusiastic responses from stakeholders, and internal and external motivation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the development and feasibility of the snake ladder educational game tool (APE) to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years. The research method used is Research and Development (RND), which produces a product and can test the effectiveness of the product. The data analysis technique used by the researcher in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis technique. Data analysis for product feasibility uses the assessment of the results obtained from learning media experts and material experts in the form of a questionnaire instrument (questionnaire). The resulting product development in the form of an educational game tool (APE) snake ladder made of banner printing material with a size of 2.4 x 3 meters is used as a learning medium to improve gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years. The validation results obtained in the development of the snake and ladder educational game tool (APE) are very satisfying. The results of material validation are in the "very feasible" category. While the results of media validation are having a "very feasible" validation category. The results of the two validation categories show "very feasible", therefore the development of the snake and ladder educational game tool (APE) is certainly very suitable to be used to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years.

Abstract

Traditional games in early chilhood are a form of implementing the noble culutures of the nation in students so that cultural literacy is embedded from an early age. Traditional game-based learning can be a solution for the realization oof cultural literacy. This article provides views regarding the preparation of traditional game-based learning plans. The writing of this article uses a literature review approach. The result of study concluded that traditional game-based learning planning can be done by adjusting children’s development by integrating in the process of opening, core and closing learning activities.
