Abstract

The Mosque in the Prophet Muhammad SAW era had a strategic role. The role is to be a solution and provide prosperity for the Muslims in particular and the surrounding community in general. Currently, the mosque plays a narrower role. It is a provider of facilities for pilgrims to carry out routine worship. In order for this role to increase, the mosque administrator, called DKM (Mosque Prosperity Council), must know his congregation more closely so that he knows what is needed and then comes to provide solutions. This study aims to create and implement an information system to manage congregational data to improve the role of mosques in the community. The main material that was obtained and prepared was data on residents around the mosque and the stakeholder needs (leaders of organizations around the mosque such as the heads of hamlet (RW), neighbourhood (RT), and youth organizations). The citizen data and stakeholder needs are used to develop the system. Because the specifications of the requirements can change during system development, the development method chosen is the prototyping method. There are two main outputs of this activity, namely the availability of a congregational data mapping application, and the installation of internet network infrastructure at the mosque. The two outputs in their implementation have proven to be beneficial for the congregation and the surrounding community. The information system provides improved service quality to pilgrims and residents in various activities such as zakat and qurbani. Meanwhile, Internet infrastructure provides new hope in easing the burden of community quotas and bringing children closer to the mosque.

Abstract

The varied natural potential makes Bogor Regency has a lot of natural tourism potential. Its location in the highlands adds to the attraction of tourists to visit. One of the natural tourist destinations in Bogor Regency is Cipamingkis waterfall, the location of this waterfall is in Wargajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency. Sukamakmur district actually has several tourist attractions, such as the Kahyangan villa and the Ciherang waterfall. However, the existence of this tourist attraction has not had a significant impact on the villagers, most of the villagers still rely on agricultural fields as their livelihood. In addition, the village youth have not played a role in the management of tourism objects. They prefer to work outside the village rather than develop their village. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide training in managing and developing tourism objects in Sukamakmur district, the concept of community-based tourism management or better known as Community Based Tourism (CBT). The training was carried out in three stages, including program socialization, group discussions, and the last stage was tourism management planning. The results of these activities, in the socialization stage, the youth of Sukamakmur district actually have the motivation to manage and develop tourism objects in Sukamakmur district. However, it is constrained by limited knowledge about the management of tourism objects. The second stage of activity tries to dig up information on the existence of the tourist attraction, so that several alternative tourism development plans are obtained. In the last stage, it is activated to try alternative tourism objects that can be developed in Sukamakmur district with the hope that Sukamakmur district becomes a Tourism Village and residents get a positive impact.

Abstract

In 2020 a number of areas in DKI Jakarta were hit by floods, one of which was the North Tanjung Duren Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta. The extreme rainfall of 377 mm/day has flooded almost all areas of DKI Jakarta and its surroundings. In addition, poor drainage causes water to stagnate, causing flooding. However, the absence of an early flood information system makes residents restless when the rainy season arrives. The Community Service (Community service activity) activity carried out aims to provide training to the community in the Tanjung Duren Utara Village area RW 04, RT 0010 regarding water level detection equipment placed in culverts. This tool serves to provide early information if the volume of water in the culvert is full of information in the form of a siren sound. The method used in this Community service activity activity is to provide online counseling and training to the community in RT 0010 / RW 04, North Tanjung Duren Village, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta. The results obtained are an increase in public understanding regarding the dangers of flooding to household electricity, as indicated by the results of the pre-test and post-test which are obtained an average of 43 and 90, respectively. Public understanding of the dangers of flooding to electricity has increased up to 109.3%. In addition, the average partner satisfaction with the material presented is 92%, this shows that the material presented by the presenters team is very useful for the extension participants.

Abstract

To break the chain of spread of the Covid-19 virus, the government issued a PPKM policy which requires essential companies to only employ 25% of their employees, this has resulted in the company experiencing an unexpected crisis. the readiness of a company's leadership to determine the level of effectiveness in dealing with the onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic. This analysis focuses on the leadership style in the company PT. BPR in dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak by examining the level of alertness, responsiveness, cohesiveness, and coordination between organizations. The results of the study show that leaders at PT BPR use an empathetic leadership style which is one of the choices for leaders to carry out leadership functions during the covid-19 pandemic. One of Rensis Likert's theories is 4 Systems or 4 Leadership communication styles. A leader must have the attitude of a Consultative Leader, meaning that with the current covid-19 pandemic, the leader should have little trust in his subordinates, subordinates need information, ideas or opinions through consultation. Because applying an empathetic leadership style alone is not enough to maintain the company and only reduces employee performance because it is considered that leaders provide opportunities and employees will be in a comfort zone.

Abstract

One of the requirements to pass the lecturer certification exam is to attach a TOEFL score. TOEFL itself is an abbreviation of Test of English as a Foreign Language which is used to measure how far a person's English ability is. In the various findings and field observations made, almost all lecturers who will carry out the 2019 TMT lecturer certification at the Ambon State Polytechnic have the same difficulties when they want to face the TOEFL test. Therefore, the Ambon State Polytechnic Community Service Team took the initiative to conduct TOEFL training activities for TMT 2019 lecturers so that they could overcome their difficulties on the TOEFL test by using modules compiled by the team. The results of this service activity show that the English language skills possessed by the lecturers have increased after the training. This can be seen from their pre-test and post-test scores. It is hoped that after going through this activity, they can test their abilities by carrying out the TOEFL test and can penetrate lecturer certification.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new type of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), which has now become a global health problem that can cause respiratory system disorders, ranging from mild symptoms such as flu to lung infections. The most effective effort currently being made is to create community awareness starting from the household level, namely through the implementation of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS). PHBS culture is very influential in preventing the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Through this KKN activity, it will be practiced as well as empowered by the community in implementing PHBS efforts. The data collection technique in this community service activity is in the form of socialization using interview and documentation techniques. This activity is expected to be entrenched in the community so that it can become a new habit that is not only valid during the COVID-19 pandemic but will be sustainable in the order of daily life. Increased community participation in PHBS, where people are able/empowered to make cloth masks to avoid splashing droplets when talking/coughing/sneezing and making natural hand sanitizers made from betel leaf and lime, so that they can suppress/control cases of illness and death due to COVID-19.
