There are quite a few choices of learning models, one of which is the Talking Stick. This research was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review method which was carried out by reviewing, analysing, and drawing conclusions based on relevant articles that were screened and selected systematically. In this study, we will discuss efforts to improve elementary school student learning outcomes by applying the Talking Stick learning model. Learning outcomes by applying the Talking Stick learning model, namely, the experimental class with the Talking Stick model immediately showed significant differences in learning outcomes in the first cycle compared to before the implementation of Talking Stick. Several other studies on the implementation of the Talking Stick model were carried out for 2 to 3 cycles and then there was a significant difference in results from before the implementation of the Talking Stick learning model.

Abstract

This article aims to shed light on Abu's (a Dayah leader in Aceh) paradigm and strategy in reorienting Islamic education inside the dayah educational framework in the last two decades. Even now, the Acehnese people's socio-religious life still accepts and includes the traditional Islamic educational institution known as dayah. However, Dayah must adapt to the dynamics of the changing times to ensure its graduates to participate more fully in society. The Dayah in West-South and East-North coasts of Aceh are the subjects of this qualitative study using a multi-site case study. They are Dayah Asasul Islamiyah in East Aceh, Dayah Madinatuddiniyah Nurul Huda in North Aceh, Dayah Madinatuddiniyah Darul 'Ulumiddin in Southwest Aceh, and Dayah Darussalam Labuhan Haji in South Aceh. The research data was gathered through purposeful-snowballing in-depth interviewing techniques with a variety of informants, including Abu as the dayah's leader. After that, the data is processed using interactive analytic procedures, which include condensing, presenting, and concluding. According to the study's findings, Aceh's dayah leaders' (Abu) paradigm has shifted from being exclusive and orthodox to being inclusive and flexible during the dayah's current period of development. The Mua'dalah programme and the higher education programme Ma'had Aly were both implemented as part of Abu's strategy to reorient Islamic education in dayah, as well as the training of human resources to become educators,

Bringing equipment to class for learning is still considered 'unnatural' for educators and educational institutions. On the other hand, the device can be used as a medium to find materials in classroom learning. The purpose of this study is to examine the quality management of learning in higher education by bringing their own tools (BYOD) to classroom learning to improve 21st century skills in the Islamic Education Management study program at UIN KHAS Jember. This research is qualitative research, using observations, interviews and documentation as data collection and interactive data analysis. This research used 45 students as informants. The results showed that the personal devices used by students in classroom learning brought benefits to critical, creative, collaborative, and communicative thinking skills. The benefits of using BYOD in the classroom are motivating and improving student participation in class discussions.

Abstract

The development of halal tourism in West Sumatra is not proportional, due to a lack of service to tourists and the prevalence of negative social behaviors such as fraud, coercion, deception, and violence within the Minang society, often known as the 4P (Pakuak, Palak, Pakang, and Preman) behavior. This research aims to identify and educate on social behaviors of fraud, coercion, deception, and violence (Pakuak, Palak, Pakang, and Preman) that hinder the development of halal tourism in West Sumatra. The research findings indicate that first, the potential of halal tourism in West Sumatra, seen from religious, socio-cultural, natural potential, and stakeholder perspectives, strongly supports the development of halal tourism. Second, behaviors inhibiting the development of tourism communities, the 4P (Pakuak, Palak, Pakang, and Preman), are still prevalent amidst tourism activities in West Sumatra. Third, the Islamic Behavior Improvement (IBI) Tourism Model for tourism communities, tourists, and halal tourism stakeholders in West Sumatra, based on development results, has been tested for product validity. The validity level of the Islamic Behavior Improvement (IBI) Tourism Model book in terms of linguistic aspects, graphic design, and content feasibility is categorized as valid
