Abstract

The existence of religious science and general science has been the long discourse that reduced the scientific world.  The separation of these two sciences, often refers to as science dichotomy, has brought about serious implication not only to institutions and facilities, but also the main resources of these two branches. More serious implication of the separation of these two sciences has also created the gaps particularly on the superiority of the general science.  This unhealthy and lack of objective view to religious science may not be taken for granted; comprehensive explanations of scientific resources, scientific method, and the historical existence of the two branches should be explored to reshape it in a strong unity and complementary.

Abstract

Teaching profession is not a common job, it carries certain sets of ideology.  A teacher who is committed to certain ideology will likely to be more successful and highly appreciated in pursuing her career.  It has already been proved through the history that best teachers are born among individuals who possessed pedagogical ideology.  Great cares have been continuously given by the Government to improve teachers’ lives and positions through Law number 14 year 2005 dealing with teacher and lecturer.  The improvement of teacher’s status as professional staff has brought about wide impacts.  Its positive impact is that teacher position becomes more prestigious and it affects to the betterment of their welfares.  However, there is a critique to the procedures of certification that it doesn’t provide significant impact to the quality improvement of education.Copyright © 2013 by Al-Talim All right reservedDOI: 10.15548/jt.v20i2.32

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the application of the character education program based surau and the Minangkabau culture strengthening program in intracurricular, extracurricular activities; and through school culture. This study used a qualitative approach and interviews, observation and documentation use to collect the data. Some teachers are respondents of the research. The results showed that the implementation of the Minangkabau culture and character education program in intracuricular activities were carried out by the subject teacher by incorporating the values of the Minangkabau nuanced character and culture into each learning. Character values were embedded in learning tools such as prayer and reading the Al- Qur’an before and after learning activities. Whereas the implementation of the character education program and the Minangkabau culture in extracurricular activities was carried out through the integration of the values of the character and the Minangkabau culture in various extra-curricular activities such as muhadarah, An Nisa forum, Ar Rijal forum (studying Islamic sciences with the halaqah method), pesantren , and pray. While strengthening the values of Minangkabau cultural character can be seen in randai activities, traditional speeches, and Minangkabau cuisine. The results also showed that the development of school culture was carried out through strengthening the character of students such as Adiwiyata School, Healthy and Smoke-Free School Program. It is concluded that character education based surau and Minangkabau culture had helped educators more easily to develop students' character. The implication is that educators need to develop teaching materials that can help students improve their character.

Abstract

Jenis Penulisan ini adalah kuantitatif eksperimen, Penulisan ini menggunakan jenis Penulisan Pre-Experimental Design. Metode ini diberikan pada satu kelas saja tanpa kelompok pembanding. Desain Penulisan eksperimen yang digunakan dalam Penulisan ini adalah One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Metode ini diberikan pada satu kelas saja tanpa kelompok pembanding. Rumus Pre Experiment One Group Pre-test and Post-test DesignHasil Penulisan menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar kelas XI.F2 berada pada klasifikasi tinggi, Berdasarkan uji-t dengan SPSS 21. Hasil analisis diperoleh sig dalam dua sisi atau sig (2-tailed) sebesar = 0,000. Kesimpulannya bahwa (0,000 0,05). Hal ini berarti   yang berbunyi tidak terdapat pengaruh aplikasi kahoot terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Dan Budi Pekerti di SMAN 2 Padang ditolak dan   yang berbunyi terdapat pengaruh aplikasi kahoot terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Dan Budi Pekerti di SMAN 2 Padang.Dan    yaitu 8,549 1,690 artinya   yang mengatakan terdapat pengaruh aplikasi kahoot terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam dan budi pekerti di SMAN 2 Padang diterima dan  ditolak. Artinya terdapat pengaruh aplikasi kahoot terhadap minat belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMAN 2 Padang.

Abstract

Semakin berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan diiringi dengan munculnya perubahan sosial, budaya, dan pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan bukti bahwa teknologi dan informasi di indonesia mulai tumbuh ke arah positif. Sufisme telah melahirkan berbagai kepribadian yang besar dan mempunyai intelektual serta gagasan yang hebat salah satunya yaitu memberikan penawaran gagasan pembebasan kepada masyarakat. Keagungan sufi seringkali diukur melalui kebenaran yang diterimanya dan memiliki jalan spiritual yang bersumber pada Al-Qur’an dan sunnah nabi. Terdapat beberapa doktrin yang disusun oleh para sufi diantaranya yaitu doktrin yang mengkonfirmasi dan menjabarkan kebenaran sesuai dengan Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah. berkepanjangan ditambah dengan menurunnya bimbingan spiritual sehingga menyebabkan berbagai bentuk perilaku asusila yang meningkat secara drastis. Selain itu juga ditambah dengan berbagai macam situasi perkembangan zaman. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran tarekat dalam membangun spiritualitas umat islam kontemporer. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu tarekat memiliki peranan dalam membangun spiritualitas seperti moral, pendidikan, kesabaran, ketaatan, memperbaiki hubungan dengan Allah, memperbaiki hubungan dengan sesama.

Abstract

Special creatures, perfect and created in the best way and given reason or advantages over other creatures, namely humans. When humans do not understand themselves, humans will experience many problems. The purpose of this research is to reveal about human psychology in the Qur'an and Hadith. The type of research is literature review by collecting data from Google Scholar, journals and books, the data is analyzed using data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. The results of the research show that basically human nature is that humans are religious beings (religious monotheism), humans are caliphs on earth and are born with a fitrah (religious nature). At this stage of development, humans are required to win their essence and the dynamics of human personality consist of spirit, lust, mind and heart physically or physically and the second is psychological.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk kepribadian dan karakter muslim seutuhnya. Hukum Islam tidak terlepas dari tujuan maqashid syari’ah itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan urgensi pemahaman hukum Islam berlandaskan maqashid syari’ah dalam konteks pendidikan agama islam. Melalui lima elemen krusial yaitu menjaga agama, menjaga jiwa, menjaga akal, menjaga harta dan menjaga keturunan, diidentifikasi sebagai pilar utama yang harus dilindungi dan ditingkatkan. Metode penelitian adalah studi kepustakaan melalui kajian terhadap literatur terkait hukum Islam dan maqashid syari’ah. Hasil penelusuran pustaka menemukan konsep maqashid syari’ah sejalan dengan visi, misi, dan tujuan pendidikan agama Islam dalam membentuk kepribadian muslim paripurna. Pemahaman hukum Islam yang merefleksikan maqashid syari’ah sangat penting diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan agama Islam agar dapat membekali generasi muslim dengan kesadaran syari’ah yang komprehensif. Dengan memahami hukum islam dan maqashid syari’ah, diharapkan dapat memperkuat pondasi pendidikan agama islam sebagai sarana pembentukan karakter dan moral peserta didik sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

The development of halal tourism in West Sumatra is not proportional, due to a lack of service to tourists and the prevalence of negative social behaviors such as fraud, coercion, deception, and violence within the Minang society, often known as the 4P (Pakuak, Palak, Pakang, and Preman) behavior. This research aims to identify and educate on social behaviors of fraud, coercion, deception, and violence (Pakuak, Palak, Pakang, and Preman) that hinder the development of halal tourism in West Sumatra. The research findings indicate that first, the potential of halal tourism in West Sumatra, seen from religious, socio-cultural, natural potential, and stakeholder perspectives, strongly supports the development of halal tourism. Second, behaviors inhibiting the development of tourism communities, the 4P (Pakuak, Palak, Pakang, and Preman), are still prevalent amidst tourism activities in West Sumatra. Third, the Islamic Behavior Improvement (IBI) Tourism Model for tourism communities, tourists, and halal tourism stakeholders in West Sumatra, based on development results, has been tested for product validity. Abstract

In recent years, religious moderation has become the focus of intense debate, as extremism and misperceptions of the religion emerge This article discusses recent developments in religious moderation with a focus on efforts to maintain a balance between religious values and the times.  This research combines approaches (quantitative and qualitative) in the form of bibliometric analysis and literature review. The results of the bibliometric analysis are dominated by FM Manshur and H Husni's research in promoting religious moderation through literature-based learning. Understanding religious moderation and developing a multicultural-based curriculum are the focus of research that gets a significant number of citations. The results of the literature review discuss the concepts and principles of religious moderation, as well as the role of religious moderation in everyday life. Religious moderation is needed at this time, with the existence of religious moderation can be a middle way to resolve conflicts and realise the mission of Islam rahmatan lil alamin. The role of religious leaders, education, and the role of social movements can build an inclusive and tolerant society. Recent reforms in religious moderation aim to maintain a balance between religious values and the demands of the times, by adopting Islamic principles with growing social problems. Thus, religious moderation is the key to building a harmonious and just society

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis dinamika aliran sempalan dalam konteks keagamaan dan kenegaraan di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada faktor penyebab munculnya aliran-aliran ini serta respon pemerintah dan masyarakat terhadapnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, memanfaatkan data historis, regulasi pemerintah, serta perspektif keagamaan dari organisasi Islam utama seperti Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) dan Muhammadiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aliran sempalan kerap kali lahir dari interpretasi baru terhadap ajaran Islam yang bertujuan memenuhi kebutuhan spiritual yang dirasa belum terpenuhi oleh organisasi keagamaan mainstream. Namun, kehadiran aliran-aliran ini sering kali memicu ketegangan sosial dan politik, sehingga menimbulkan perhatian khusus dari pemerintah yang berupaya menjaga stabilitas dan harmoni sosial melalui regulasi. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pemerintah terhadap aliran sempalan sering bersifat ambivalen, berusaha menjaga keseimbangan antara kebebasan beragama dan integritas nasional. Studi ini memberikan wawasan bagi para pemangku kepentingan dalam memahami bagaimana aliran sempalan dapat mempengaruhi lanskap sosial-keagamaan dan peran negara dalam merespon dinamika keagamaan di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: Aliran Sempalan, Lanskap, Keagamaan, Kenegaraan
