Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the implementation of transformational leadership styles in improving teacher performance at the Kindergarten/RA level. The principal as a leader has a lot of influence on the sustainability of the quality of education in schools and educational institutions. Teachers as educational actors who communicate directly with education consumers are expected to be able to show good and optimal performance in providing services. The method used in this research is qualitative by collecting data through several techniques such as interviews, documentation and field observation. Then the data obtained is reduced according to the focus of research, analyzed and conclusions drawn. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the transformational leadership carried out by the head of the RA AL-Mahmud Bacem school was able to increase teacher motivation and performance in optimizing their competence.

Abstract

Organizing is one of the management functions that plays an important role in the realization of the planned learning program so that it can be maximized. Therefore, this research aims to examine the management of the Al-Khoirot Malang Islamic Boarding School Arabic Language Headquarters learning program. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is through data reduction, data decomposition and drawing conclusions. The research results show that learning program management at the Al-Khoirot Malang Islamic Boarding School Arabic Language Headquarters is implemented through several steps: (1) Determining learning objectives. The objectives are oriented towards four skills which include reading (qiro'ah), listening (istima'), writing (kitabah) and speaking (kalam); (2) Grouping of students is classified according to the level of ability of the students; (3) Vulnerable control is carried out by giving tasks and authority to asatidz at the Arabic language headquarters in accordance with their respective fields of expertise; and (4) The formation of the Arabic language headquarters structure is determined by the caregivers and supervisors of the Arabic language headquarters. The supervisor serves as the person who has the highest policy as well as the curriculum maker, giving authority to the Arabic Language Headquarters supervisor to form the divisions needed in the Arabic Language dormitory.

Abstract

Moral material becomes an essential thing in education. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the education sector changed policy. Every teacher must determine learning strategies following existing conditions, especially moral teachers who must use the right approach to transfer knowledge and instill morals in students optimally. This research was conducted to describe the learning strategies applied by the moral teachers of Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and the accompanying constraints. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This study used respondents consisting of seven people as informants, namely two moral teachers, the deputy director of the curriculum section, and four students of Madrasah Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Then, interviews and documentations were data collection techniques used by researchers—analysis of data processing using data reduction procedures, data presentation and conclusion. Based on the research results obtained, the learning strategy used by the moral teachers at Mu'allimaat Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic was expository and active learning. As for the obstacles faced, namely the limitations of space, time (class hours), resources (network and IT devices), and the need for more motivation of the students. Even though there were several obstacles, they could be handled/appropriately resolved. This research has limitations, including the difficulty of arranging interview schedules because it is hindered by semester holidays and the school is busy accepting new students. The recommendation from this study is that teachers must be more able to manage classes optimally, especially by using suitable approaches and strategies. With this research, it is hoped that it can become a reference and reference for further similar research.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic forces the education sector to implement distance learning (online). For schools and people who are familiar with Information Technology (IT), online learning is not a problem. However, this condition will be different for schools and people who are unfamiliar with IT, especially for community groups who are living in the outside of urban and rural areas. This study wants to see how online learning is applied in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach, data or information obtained from the process of observation and interviews with people who are undergoing online learning in Aceh Province. There are many obstacles to home learning for low-income economies and people living in rural areas. For this community group, doing online learning is challenging, starting from the problem of facilities, parental support, to children's motivation in this kind of learning. The implementation of online learning in rural and low-class economic communities does not meet expectations, it can even be said to be unsuccessful. This condition is caused by limited access and inadequate learning media.

Abstract

The logical impact of efforts to improve the quality of education is the need to improve the quality of components in the education system, including human resources. The aim of this research is to determine human resource planning in improving the quality of education at MAN 1 Tulungagung City. This research uses a qualitative approach using descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of this research are that Human Resources Planning at MAN 1 Tulungagung is carried out in planning the educators and educational personnel needed in the madrasah, recruitment, as well as the appropriate placement of educators and educational personnel. Educators and education staff are given guidance in the form of seminars as well as education and training to improve their abilities and continue to work effectively. The quality of education at MAN 1 Tulungagung is classified as very good, MAN 1 Tulungagung is accredited A. Human resource planning at MAN 1 Tulungagung in improving the quality of education is considered successful, planning is implemented well and the quality of education is very good. MAN 1 Tulungagung students experienced an improvement in terms of achievement, this year a higher percentage of students were accepted into higher education than the previous year. It is hoped that the implications of the findings of this research can be a reference for Madrasas to carry out human resource planning well and continuously in order to realize superior Madrasah quality and be able to compete in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the planning, implementation and challenges involved in improving the quality of administrative services at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicated that the planning of administration at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai involved the formulation of tasks and functions of administrative services, goal setting, job evaluation, resource allocation, procurement of facilities and infrastructure, as well as problem-solving. The implementation of administration was conducted well, starting from planning, execution, management and supervision. Administrative activities included personnel administration, financial administration, data and information administration, facility and infrastructure administration, as well as correspondence and archiving. The challenges in improving service quality at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai were identified as a lack of human resources in the administrative staff and network connectivity issues, which could hinder the service process at the school. The implications of this study are the functioning of the administration management system, improvement in the quality of school administrative services and the establishment of collaboration among administrators, educators and students in achieving these goals.

Abstract

The use of software-based information systems at MTs Tahfizhul Qur'an Al Imam Ashim Makassar can be driven by the specific needs and vision of the school. Through technology integration, schools can optimize their educational and administrative processes to improve educational quality and operational efficiency. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation and benefits obtained through the use of software-based information systems in the management and development of educational institutions. This research uses descriptive research methods. Data was obtained through direct observation of system use, interviews with school staff, and analysis of documents related to the use of information systems at MTs Tahfizhul Qur'an Information Al Imam Ashim Makassar. The research results show that the use of software-based information systems, such as EMIS, SIMPATIKA, RDM, EDM, ERKAM, and VERVAL, provides a number of significant benefits for MTs Tahfizhul Qur'an Al Imam Ashim Makassar. The use of software-based information systems at MTS Tahfizhul Qur'an Al Imam Ashim Makassar makes a positive contribution in increasing the operational efficiency of the institution, improving decision making, and improving the quality of educational services. It is hoped that this research can provide insights and recommendations for other educational institutions that wish to utilize software-based information systems and the integration of different information systems.

Abstract

Al-Manaar Batuhampar Islamic Boarding School is a private educational institution that has been established since 1943. However, since its establishment, the boarding school has never conducted formal recruitment processes, except in 2022 due to an increased number of students, requiring a larger workforce. The aim of this research is to understand the human resource recruitment process at Al-Manaar Batuhampar Islamic Boarding School in the current digital era. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection was done through interviews and analyzed using the data analysis method proposed by Miles and Huberman (1994), which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In this study, the author found that Al-Manaar Batuhampar Islamic Boarding School does not use appropriate methods in recruiting human resources and has not fully utilized technology. Only one interview is conducted without any follow-up interviews, and no written tests are conducted before accepting prospective human resources. Additionally, some recruitment processes are still done manually. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the human resource recruitment process at Al-Manaar Batuhampar Islamic Boarding School is not in line with the recruitment steps proposed by experts.

Abstract

In a globalization era that is marked by advancements in information technology, the integration of technology in learning systems and processes is crucial, especially in the context of educational institutions. This research aimed to describe and analyze management information system strategies in student administration services at SD Muhammadiyah Mlangi by using data analysis techniques assisted by Atlas.ti 8 software, with qualitative research methods and a case study approach. The results showed that SD Muhammadiyah Mlangi successfully integrated technological advances in administrative services to students, involving the use of technology and internet networks with the active involvement of teachers. Thus, quality education services are created. This research is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the strategies used by SD Muhammadiyah Mlangi and the positive impact of the implementation of these strategies on the quality of education provided by the school, providing valuable insights to face the challenges of globalization in the field of education.

Abstract

Learning is the main activity that occurs in the education unit; quality learning will have an impact on student learning outcomes and school output. This study aims to analyze and reveal the principal's strategy for ensuring a quality learning process. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study research design. As well as data collection techniques by observation and interviews based on observation and interview guidelines. The results that the researchers found in this study were: As for the several efforts made by the principal, namely guaranteeing teacher careers in the teacher mobilization program, supervising, and providing evaluations in the form of suggestions and input. Meanwhile, the teacher plays a role in determining learning strategies, managing classes, designing teaching modules, determining learning media that are in accordance with the characteristics of students, and establishing good relations with students and their parents. Assuring the quality of the learning process is not necessarily the responsibility of the principal, but it is part of the main task of a teacher in carrying out learning in the classroom.
