Abstract

The purpose of this service is to improve the teachers' pedagogical skills in the field of medicine and there is increased learning quality by using a blog. This devotion is necessary to increase the teacher's insight into the pedagogical competence of ict-based learning. This has supported a number of studies which show that blogs can become learning media that can facilitate the process of interaction between teachers and students. The methods used were those of speech, question-and-answer, and simulation. The success indicator of this devotion activity includes: (1) participants' positive response to the blog development training in SMK learning, and (2) the product a trainee produces is a blog that can be used in learning. The result of this activity suggests that (1) teachers already have the knowledge to create a blog for learning purposes, (2) teachers already have the learning media utilizing the blog application, and (3) teachers have a knowledge of designing and creating blog content as a learning medium.

Abstract

Multimedia in learning could make the learning atmosphere more attractive for student attention and student interactions. The objectives of this research were: (1) describe the use of multimedia learning by elementary school teachers in Kendari City; (2) analyze the comparison of the use of multimedia learning in terms of school accreditation by the teacher at elementary school in Kendari City; (3) analyze aspects of obstacles in the use of multimedia learning for elementary school teachers in Kendari City. This research used mixed methods with a sequential exploratory strategy held at the Kendari City Elementary School. The school sample was determined using the random cluster sampling technique selecting 3 schools from 11 sub-districts. Each sub-district took 2 accredited A and non-A public schools and 1 accredited private school so that the total respondents were 66 people. Research data was collected through observation forms and interviews. The results of this research showed that: (1) multimedia learning use by primary school teachers in Kendari City was still good; (2) there was a meaningful comparison of the use of multimedia learning by elementary school teachers in Kendari City in terms of school accreditation; (3) aspects of barriers to the use of multimedia learning by primary school teachers in Kendari City include: (a) teachers 'lack competence in IT, (b) teachers' misconceptions about learning multimedia, (c) the lack of support structures and infrastructures, (d)) the lack of training on multimedia learning means, (e) the lack of involvement of the educational software used by teachers to support learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create an augmented reality based learning media. Augmented reality development on media platform is a learning media innovation that is not taking place much in Southeast Sulawesi. Augmented reality has the ability to combine virtual and real objects together so that it can create quality learning and learning. The products developed in this study are markers and augmented reality applications. The marker developed will be placed on the book. While augmented reality applications will be installed on smartphones so it ACTS as a marker reader. This research is a development study using the model Lee Owens. The object of this study is a learning media expert, a material expert, and eight students of Information Technology Education. Data collection is done using likert scale interview techniques and instruments. The results of the test assessments of the learning media experts obtain highly valid 87.20% worth of worthiness. The results of the material expert test assessments get a valid rating of 82.65%. The results of small group test assessments get an average of valid 80,89%. The assessment of the study media expert, the materials expert, and the small group test indicates that a augmented reality based media is so valid and valid that it can be used in the learning process after doing a small revision.

Abstract

The changes in the social order of life in the new normal era due to the Covid-19 pandemic have caused various sectors of the work environment to create new habitual adaptation policies so that the service process continues to run well. One method used was to use poster media to be displayed in the office environment as a media for health protocol information. The purpose of this research was to create a poster based on augmented reality videos that were suitable for use as media for information on health protocols in public health centers in Kendari City. The research model for augmented reality media development uses a model developed by Lee & Owens that consists of four stages: assessment/analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the findings in this study, obtaining the media expert's assessment results provided a feasibility level of 91.58%, categorized as very feasible. The tests conducted on material experts obtained a feasibility level of 89.09% that categorized as very feasible. Poster-based on augmented reality videos have been tested on Puskesmas health workers with a mean percentage of assessment of 80.42% that categorized as suitable for use. In comparison, the test results obtained from the public health services visitors obtained a percentage of 81.25% that have been categorized as suitable for use. The tests carried out on all test subjects showed that the poster-based on augmented reality videos was very suitable for use as a health promotion media at Puskesmas in Kendari City.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  untuk mengetahui potret penggunaan literasi digital mahasiswa yang ditinjau dari kepemilikan media sosial, penggunaan perangkat teknologi, dan sikap mahasiswa dalam penggunaan perangkat teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan pemberian kuisioner yang disertai alasan pemilihan jawaban yang dipilih. Data pada penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif yang disajikan dalam bentuk diagram batang untuk menggambarkan potret pengunaan literasi digital pada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa whatsapp merupakan media sosial yang paling digunakan mahasiswa dengan persentase sebesar 97,3%. Ditinjau dari penggunaan perangkat teknologi, mahasiswa menggunakan perangkat teknologi untuk keperluan pembelajaran yang dapat dimanfaatkan mahasiswa sebagai media pembelajaran mandiri, alat bantu pembelajaran, dan sumber belajar. Tinjauan sikap mahasiswa dalam penggunaan perangkat teknologi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa telah memiliki sikap yang positif dalam menggunakan perangkat teknologi. Mahasiswa telah memiliki sikap menghargai perbedaan pendapat, menghargai privasi orang lain, memperhatikan resiko hokum dalam berkomunikasi, memiliki kemauan yang kuat, dan membaca konten secara cermat.

Abstract

The purpose of this devotion is to increase knowledge and insight into the innovation of e-learning based learning for teachers of SMA Negeri 4 Kendari can be done through training activities in the application of Schoology. This activity was attended by 15 people in the teachers of SMA Negeri 4 Kendari with the implementation method of devotion using lecture methods, questions and answers, and simulations. The results of this dedication show that (1) the trainees have a knowledge of the use of e-learning application Platform Schoology, (2) The trainees already have a learning class using the platform E-Learning Application Schoology, and (3) The trainees have been knowledgeable in creating and developing the content of e-learning Schoology application

Abstract

This teaching material development offers a solution to facilitate the students ' critical thinking skills through chemical learning. The purpose of this research is to produce decent teaching materials to facilitate students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is development research using Dick, Carey, and Carey's development models. Research instruments use poll responses from learning media experts, learning design, and learning materials. The resulting development product is a teaching book. Based on the results of data analysis obtained from the responses of learning media experts, learning design experts, and learning materials experts demonstrate that the teaching materials are developed worthy to be used in the process of learning chemistry with the access The average percentage score amounted to 89.33% of the learning media experts, 83.33% of the learning design experts, and 93.33% of the learning material experts. This chemical teaching materials development product is also feasible to facilitate students ' critical thinking skills in the learning process. The results of the assessment of all test subjects against the critical Thinking skills indicator show an average percentage of 95% of the learning media experts, 80% of the learning design experts, and 100% of the learning material experts.

Abstract

The purpose of this mixed methods research is to describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum learning tools by elementary school teachers, the differences of the curriculum implementation, and to describe what teachers face in implementing it. The results of data analysis indicate that participants implemented the 2013 curriculum well in all school accreditation level. The problems faced by the elementary school teachers are relative to learning resources, limited facilities and infrastructure, and limited opportunities tocontinuing professional development.Keywords: Curriculum implementation; learning tools; elementary school teachers

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang efektif mengharuskan guru memilih dan berinovasi dalam menentukan media yang tepat, sehingga tujuan dan kompetensi yang diharapkan dapat tercapai. Sementara siswa harus memiliki keterampilan untuk menyesuaikan antara materi yang diterima dengan media yang dapat memudahkannya dalam memahami materi tersebut. Siswa tidak harus menanti sumber belajar dari guru, tetapi juga memiliki kreativitas mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang tepat dengan materi yang ada. Media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android menjadi salah satu media yang sangat menunjang pembelajaran dengan sejumlah kelebihan yang dimilikinya. Meski demikian, peserta didik belum memiliki kemampuan dalam membuat media tersebut, sehingga tim pengabdian berinisiatif memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan guna peningkatan keterampilan tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android menggunakan aplikasi ispring suite 9. Metode yang digunakan selama proses kegiatan pengabdian adalah: (1) metode ceramah, (2) metode diskusi, dan (3) metode praktek. Indikator keberhasilan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah: (1) adanya respon positif peserta didik terhadap pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam proses pembelajaran di SMK Negeri 1 Kendari; dan (2) adanya produk media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android yang dihasilkan oleh peserta didik. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah: (1) kemampuan dan pengetahuan peserta didik dalam membuat media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android telah meningkat dengan rerata respon sebesar 87,85% dan terkategori sangat baik, dan (2) peserta didik telah memiliki media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi ispring suite 9.

Abstract

Augmented reality is one of the developing technologies and has a good potential to apply in the teaching and learning process. Augmented reality facilitates and improves the quality of teaching and learning process because of the combination of virtual objects with real environments by taking advantage of the use of technology. Augmented reality visualizes abstract concepts for understanding and the structure of an object model. A main characteristic for a medium classified as an augmented reality is combining real and virtual objects, integrated in real and virtual objects, and a real-time interaction. The use of augmented reality in teaching and learning has already been applied to many subjects, such as the concepts of space and geometry in mathematics, the human digestive system of biology, the introduction of traditional houses in social science, and the introduction of wudhu procedure in early childhood education or kindergarten (PAUD/TK) kids.
