Abstract

Education is a fundamental foundation in the development of society and the nation. In the educational process, teachers play an important role in shaping the younger generation to support a nation's quality human resources. However, prospective teachers in Indonesia currently face various challenges and high expectations. Society's expectations of teachers as agents of change in the educational process often exceed the understanding and readiness of prospective teacher students. This is further exacerbated by the recent phenomenon of the hashtag #JanganJadiGuru on Platform X, highlighting concerns related to demands for fair salaries, proportional teacher workloads, and appropriate recognition. Adequate knowledge about the teaching profession and a realistic understanding of the expectations that prospective teacher students will face are crucial. However, in reality, prospective teachers' knowledge about the teaching profession, requirements, and professional expectations is often limited or inaccurate, affecting the learning process. The purpose of this research is to investigate the career knowledge of prospective teacher students and their expectations towards the teaching profession. This research was conducted in the city of Tasikmalaya with the research subjects being prospective teacher students, with respondents consisting of 27 from Universitas Siliwangi, 17 from Universitas Perjuangan, 21 from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and 11 from Universitas Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya, making a total of 76 respondents. In this research, the researcher used a quantitative approach supported by a qualitative approach. Based on the conducted research, we can state that there is a significant possibility of a halo effect on the teaching profession. The positive image associated with the teaching profession, such as being unsung heroes, nation character builders, and pillars of education, tends to create high expectations for this profession. However, behind these positive aspects, there are also complex realities and significant challenges.

Abstract

Research and abstract title search made easy with these keywords. This research aims to find strategies for forming positive characters through gadgets. This research used a mixed-method study with a psychodynamic approach to identify the negative influence of gadgets on 100 first and third-semester students at the North Sumatra State Islamic University, Medan. A census sampling method focused on self-defense, personality development, emotions, and individual motivations regarding gadget use. Data was obtained through questionnaires and referring to literature reviews. Data analysis involves pre-analysis testing, hypothesis testing, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research results show that the use of gadgets has a negative impact, especially related to dependence and mental health disorders. Strategies for forming positive character through individual awareness, the role of the family, the wise use of technology, social participation, and inter-institutional cooperation are essential. The Healthy Gadget Movement is suggested as a critical initiative with increased awareness and collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the technology industry, as well as integrating digital literacy into the curriculum. Parental support and ongoing evaluation are the keys to the success of this movement in creating a society that can use gadgets healthily and positively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kemampuan siswa kelas V SD Negeri Rawarengas 2 untuk berpikir kritis menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SD Negeri Rawarengas 2 kelas VB. Siswa yang termasuk dalam kategori memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi, kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah termasuk di antaranya. Dalam penelitian ini, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kritis, siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang memenuhi tiga indikator berpikir kritis, dan siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah hanya memenuhi satu indikator berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini disarankan bagi guru, siswa dan penelitian selanjutnya dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran mengalami beberapa kendala dalam penyampaian materi yang bersifat formal, pembelajaran tidak interaktif, dan siswa tidak tertarik dengan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Metode penelitian pengembangan ini diartikan sebagai metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media game edukasi wordwall berupa PowerPoint interaktif untuk membantu siswa di kelas satu pada materi bahasa Indonesia. Analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi adalah lima tahap dari model ADDIE yang digunakan untuk pengembangan ini. Angket respons siswa, lembar validasi, dan angket aktivitas adalah instrumen penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Siswa di kelas 1 SDN 3 Made Lamongan. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa Pengembangan media pembelajaran game edukasi berbasis web wordwall menggunakan PowerPoint Interaktif dapat disimpulkan: (1) Kevalidan pada media pembelajaran game edukasi wordwall yang dinyatakan layak digunakan dengan persentase kelayakan 87,4% validasi materi dan 87% validasi media. (2) Kepraktisan game edukasi wordwall pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan menyatakan bahwa praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaraan dengan persentase kelayakan 95%. (3) Keefektifan game edukasi wordwall menyatakan bahwa efektif digunakan untuk melihat aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan persentase kelayakan 89,5%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunan media game edukasi wordwall sangat valid atau layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning is a process to help students learn well and where interaction or reciprocal relationships occur between students and their environment in achieving a goal. And to achieve this goal requires media and learning models. One of them is Augmented Reality media with the Knisley learning model. The aim of this research is to find out how to apply Augmented Reality learning media with the Knisley learning model and what the learning outcomes of students are in using Augmented Reality learning media with the Knisley learning model on class V prism material at SD GMIT Kuanino 3, Kupang City. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive method. The data collection techniques used in the research are observation, interviews and tests. The observation data is supported by the results of interviews with students and teachers who found that the use of Augmented Reality-based prism media with the Knisley learning model makes learning more enjoyable. Allows students to visualize prisms interactively, supporting active learning. From the test results, it is said that learning outcomes are complete after using augmented reality-based prism media with the Knisley model. So it is said that students fulfill the specified KKTP. This learning not only increases students' understanding, but also improves critical thinking skills and abilities. Thus, the application of prism media based on Augmented Reality with the Knisley model can be considered an innovative and effective approach to prism learning.

Abstract

This research is research and development. The problem studied in this research is how to develop angle clock media in class IV angle measurement material at SDN 2 Kabila Bone? And what is the feasibility of developing angle clock medua in class IV angle measurement material at SDN 2 Kabila Bone? The purpose of this research is to determine the process of developing angle clock media in class IV angle measurement material at SDN 2 Kabila Bone. And identifying the feasibility of developing angle clock media in class IV angle measurement material at SDN 2 Kabila Bone. The subject of this research was class IV students at SDN 2 Kabila Bone, Bone Bolango Regency with a total of 21 people consisting of 9 boys and 12 girls. This research uses a research and development design that uses a development model, namely the ADDIE model. The data analysis techniques used in this research are qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of this development research have reached the evaluation stage. Based on the results of validation by material experts, they obtained a score of 89.28%, from media experts they obtained a score of 91.66%, the results of the teacher response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 92.5%, the results of the student response questionnaire were 92.73% and for the evaluation results obtained the media obtained a percentage of 84.80%. Thus, the corner clock media developed is in the very suitable category for use in learning activities and can be continued at the next stage.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu “Apakah ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalu model PBL berbantuan media Kahoot pada materi bangun ruang kelas V di SDN 84 Sipatana?”. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan. Siswa yang terlibat dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas V di SDN 84 Sipatana, dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hanya 9 orang dari 24 siswa, atau 38%, mencapai ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan 16 orang, atau 67%, belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai di bawah 75. Hasil penelitian pada siklus pertama, di mana 12 siswa mencapai KKM dengan persentase 50%, menunjukkan hal ini. Kemudian pada siklus 2 siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 21siswa dengan peresentase 87%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media kahoot secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 84 Sipatana.

Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini adalah "Apakah dengan menggunakan media Wizer. Me dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun luas persegi dan luas persegi panjang pada kelas IV di SDN 4 Anggrek Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara?". Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media Wizer. Me pada materi bangun luas persegi dan luas persegi panjang pada siswa kelas IV di SDN 4 Anggrek Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi adalah metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pada saat observasi awal kemampuan yang diperoleh siswa masih sangat rendah yakni hanya 13 orang siswa atau 57% yang mendapat ketuntasan belajar. Pada pelaksanaan penelitian siklus I terjadi peningkatan yakni berjumlah 15 orang siswa atau 65%. Hal ini belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal yang telah ditetapkan yakni 80%, sehingga penelitian akan dilanjutkan pada siklus kedua. Pada siklus kedua, 91% atau 21 siswa lebih baik dalam belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media berbasis Wizer.me secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN 4 Anggrek Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara.

Abstract

Learning in schools generally still uses conventional learning models or methods that focus on the teacher. This causes students to be less trained in critical thinking. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing contextual learning with small group discussion methods to improve students critical thinking skills on environmental pollution material. The study was carried out on class X vocational students in Lamongan. This research began by conducting observations and interviews at one of the vocational schools in Lamongan Regency. The findings from the observations and interviews indicated that students have poor critical thinking skills, as traditional teaching models and methods are still being utilizedThis study employed a pre-experimental design featuring a one-group pre-test and post-test approach, with the sample selected through purposive sampling. The data in this research was obtained using the results of the pre-test and post-test given to students. A pre-test is given to students before the learning treatment is carried out using a contextual model with a small group discussion method. Post tests were given to students after learning treatment using a contextual model with small group discussion methods. The research result were analyzed using paired samples t-test and N-gain test. The results obtained from the paired sample t-test were 0.000 which showed a significant effect between learning using the contextual model with the small group discussion method to improve students critical thinking skills and was strengthened by the N-gain test for Office Management class 1 of 0.75 and the value of N-the gain of Office Management class 2 is 0.74, the N-gain value is both in the high category. So the application of contextual learning with small group discussion methods can improve students critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum was inaugurated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in February 2022. It was determined that there are several things that must be prepared before learning, after that implementing independent curriculum learning, implementing learning differentiation and assessment. This research aims to determine and describe the planning, implementation and evaluation in implementing the Independent Curriculum in Indonesian language subjects at Muhammadiyah Rappang Middle School. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques, namely observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is a qualitative data analysis technique with stages of data reduction analysis, data presentation, and drawing up conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of their curriculum in terms of learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation in Indonesian language subjects at Muhammadiyah Rappang Middle School has been implemented well and sustainably. However, there are still obstacles in every challenge faced by research objects in implementing Indonesian language learning based on an independent curriculum, such as limited teaching facilities, limited infrastructure and internet access for students, difficulties adapting to the different characteristics and dialects of students who are already inherent, limitations a time when learning was project-based, limited experience and references to differentiated learning models, and initial assessment paradigms that were not yet appropriate.
