Abstract

Social Sciences (IPS) is one of the subjects in the curriculum in SD/MI. Social studies learning does not only require students to understand what has been learned, but also must be able to provide real social examples in the community around the material presented. The implementation of social studies learning in elementary schools is still not optimal because in the learning process teachers have not used a variety of effective learning models to attract students' attention. One of the learning models that can activate students is the Problem Based Learning model. This learning model presents a real problem for students as the beginning of learning then solved through investigation and applied using a problem solving approach. This study aims to understand the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model to improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning in elementary schools. So it can be concluded that teachers should apply innovative learning models in the social studies learning process such as using the Problem Based Learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of grade VI students of Muhammadiyah Gantiwarno Elementary School on reading skills through instructional video media. The research conducted was Classroom Action Research which was conducted in three cycles, where each cycle consisted of one meeting. The method in this research is carried out in four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. In the first cycle the learning outcomes of students seen from the class average reached 74.78 with completeness of the learning outcomes of students reaching 60.87%, In cycle II the class average reached 76.09 with completeness of the learning outcomes of students reaching 69.56%, while in cycle III the average was Class average reached 82.17 with completeness of student learning outcomes reaching 78.36%. The conclusion in this study states that the use of instructional video media can improve the learning outcomes of grade VI students at Muhammadiyah Gantiwarno Elementary School, especially in reading skills.

Abstract

Sains sebagai proses inkuiri menerapkan metode ilmiah dalam memecahkan permasalahan dan menemukan konsep baru. Dalam proses inkuiri atau penemuan diperlukan kemampuan khusus dalam berfikir maupun bertindak. Salah satu kemampuan yang perlu dikembangkan adalah kemampuan siswa untuk berfikir kreatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh project based learning (PjBL) berpendekatan kontekstual terhadap kreativitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan post test control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling untuk menentukan dua kelompok penelitian. Kelompok eksperimen diberikan pembelajaran dengan model PjBL berpendekatan kontekstual dan kelompok kontrol diberikan pembelajaran secara konvensional. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah macam metode pembelajaran dan variabel terikatnya adalah kreativitas peserta didik. Rata- rata skor kreativitas peserta didik pada kelompok eksperimen adalah 7,52 dan 6,78 untuk kelompok kontrol. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikans pada kreativitas peserta didik antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Penggunaan PjBL berpendekatan science edutainment memberikan pengaruh yang signifikans terhadap kreativitas peserta didik.

Abstract

Masalah yang dikaji dalam literature review ini adalah penggunaan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada Muatan Pelajaran IPA di kelas IV SD. Literature reiew ini digunakan untuk pedoman perbaikan pembelajaran yang menggunakan.  Literature review ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki kinerja sebagai guru, sehingga prestasi belajar peserta didik meningkat. Hasil analisisnya adalah penggunaan alat peraga dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada Muatan Pelajaran di kelas IV SD. Peningkatan prestasi ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata nilai peserta didik yang selalu meningkat setelah menggunakan alat peraga. Simpulan dari literature review ini adalah penggunaan alat peraga efektif untuk pembelajran IPA dan  dapat memotivasi peserta didik kelas IV, sehingga peserta didik menjadi aktif dan lebih memahami materi, sehingga prestasi belajar peserta didik meningkat dengan hasil yang memuaskan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan motivasi belajarsiswa kelas II SD N 1 Srowot tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dengan pendekatan RealisticMathematics Education (RME). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan yang terdiriatas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalahsiswa Kelas II SDN 1 Srowot yang berjumlah 23 peserta didik. Sumber data berasal dari gurudan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, tes dandokumentasi. Validitas data dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis datamenggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapersentase ketuntasan klasikal pratindakan, siklus I yang semula yaitu 50% meningkat menjadi73% dan pada siklus II menjadi meningkat ke dalam presentase 100%. Peningkatanketerampilan matematika dalam materi pecahan dengan menggunakan bangun datar denganpendekatan RME yang diterapkan pada peserta didik Kelas II SD N 1 Srowot meningkat yangsemula pada siklus I yaitu 70 menjadi 81,5 pada siklus II dan dapat dikategorikan sangat baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve mathematics learning outcomes in grade 4 students through the application of the Project Based Learning learning model. The type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The CAR model used was the C. Kemmis & Mc Taggart spiral model which was carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques are test techniques and non-test techniques. The research instrument using questions and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is comparative descriptive. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the cognitive domain of mathematics learning outcomes based on the percentage of completeness of pre-cycle, first and second cycle learning outcomes was 45,1%; 73,0%; 86.8%.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this research is to improve understanding of the concept of the food chain through the Direct Instruction learning model for grade V students of SD Negeri 2 Muruh in the academic year 2020/2021. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class V SD Negeri 2 Muruh with 16 students. Data collection techniques using documentation, observation, and tests. The data analysis technique used is a comparative descriptive model, which is to compare the value of students' understanding of the food chain concept from the initial conditions, cycle I, to cycle II. The results showed an increase in the class average score and the number of students who completed learning in each cycle. In the initial conditions, the class average score was only 67.93 with the number of students who completed as many as 8 students or 50%. The class average score in the first cycle increased to 71.68 with 10 students who completed or 62.5%. Then in cycle II the class average score became 80.62 with 14 students or 87.5% of the total students who completed. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the direct instruction learning model can improve the understanding of the concept of the food chain in grade V SD Negeri 2 Muruh in the academic year 2020/2021

Abstract

The education sector is one of the sectors affected by the pandemic. Interaction restrictions prohibit schools from conducting face-to-face activities. In the absence of face-to-face learning, the delivery of learning materials is less than optimal. Elementary schools, especially those in grade 2, are severely affected by the absence of face-to-face learning. Grade 2 students who should still need special attention and guidance should be able to study independently at home. Grade 2 students are a transition period from children who are very happy to play to start more seriously in learning science. The limited face-to-face between teachers and students will have an impact on student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes are good if student interactions both at home, at school, and in the community can run smoothly.  Purpose: the purpose of this article is to determine the relationship of children's social interactions to children's learning outcomes. How big is the relationship between the two so that the community can know so that they can determine how to interact well in order to improve their learning outcomes. The results of the study: children's social interaction will greatly affect student learning outcomes at school. With good social interaction will also have good learning outcomes as well.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang ada yaitu guru tidak paham dan kreatif dalam memilih media pembelajaran yang akan digunakan untuk menstimulus kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 UPTD SDN Gunung Eleh 3 Kedungdung Sampang. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan masih dengan cara mengeja dan memberikan contoh menggunakan papan tulis. Solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan menggunakan media yang menarik untuk siswa, salah satunya menggunakan media kartu huruf untuk mengenalkan membaca permulaan bagi siswa kelas 1 UPTD SDN Gunung Eleh 3 Kedungdung Sampang. Dalam penelitian ini, membaca yang dimaksud yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam mengenal huruf, mengucapkan bunyi huruf, dan melafalkan huruf dengan jelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan media kartu huruf dengan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 UPTD SDN Gunung Eleh 3 Kedungdung Sampang.

Abstract

This study aims to increase understanding of vocabulary and their meanings by applying modeling techniques to grade II elementary school students. This study was designed in two cycles, with the research subjects of grade II students of SD N 2 Karangwuni in Pringsurat District, Temangggung Regency with a total number of students. 9 students. The research design used was the Classroom Action Research (PTK) spiral model from Kemmis and Taggart which included four stages of research, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Students' understanding of the meaning of vocabulary has increased each cycle. Increased understanding of the meaning of students' vocabulary can be seen from the average cycle I only 66.6%. While in cycle II the average score increased by 88.8%. It was concluded that using the Paikem Approach which was carried out in accordance with the learning steps included the application of Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning, making learning conclusions, providing evaluation and closing the learning process in Indonesian subjects can improve student learning outcomes in grade 2 SD N 2 Karangwuni, Pringsurat District, Temanggung Regency Based on this research, teachers should be able to choose a learning model that is in accordance with the character of students, so that students are motivated to learn, so that students are able to understand subject matter and interesting.
