Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics through the Jigsaw learning model. This research method is classroom action research using a cycle model. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in 2 cycles which were divided into 4 meetings. At the end of each cycle, a post test or evaluation will be carried out to determine the level of achievement and completeness of students in learning. In the pre-cycle activities, the number of students whose score is 71 (KKM) is only 30% then in the first cycle it increases to 70% and in the second cycle the student learning completeness increased to 90%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Jigsaw Learning Model can improve mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students of SDN 2 Sedayu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in cognitive and affective learning outcomes of Mathematics and the learning process of Class IV students in Semester I of SD Negeri 2 Paranggupito for the Academic Year 2019/2020. This research is a classroom action research with 10 students in Class IV Semester I SD Negeri 2 Paranggupito Academic Year 2019/2020 as the subject. The research was conducted in two cycles, two meetings per cycle. Data collection by tests and observations. The analysis uses quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that there was an increase in Mathematics learning outcomes after using Active Learning type Index Card Match according to the Cycle I syntax. The increase again occurred after being modified with discussion, rewards, and the addition of Cycle II quiz rules. Cognitive value from 68.70 in Pre-cycle to 86.93 Cycle II. The affective aspect increased from 2.47 (good) Cycle I to 3.04 (good) Cycle II. The application of the Index Card Match Type Active Learning model until Cycle II obtained data > 75% of all students scored ≥ 70.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fractional operations in grade 4 SDIT Buah Hati. The cause of the problem is the use of conventional learning methods. This type of research is quantitative. Samples were taken randomly without regard to the existing strata in the population. The samples in this study were students in class 4B with a total of 30 students as the experimental class and students in class 4A with a total of 30 students as the control class using purpos4e random sampling technique. The research design used a pretest-posttest control group design. The results of the calculation show that the average value of the experimental class is 85.87 while the average value of the control class is 74.27. For the results of the t-test calculation with dk = 58 and =5%, it is obtained that t_hitung 3,993 and t_table 1,671 So, the value of t_count>t_table, then H0 is rejected. After analyzing the hypothesis, it was concluded that the use of the everyone is teacher here method could improve the learning outcomes of fractional arithmetic operations for 4th grade students of SDIT Buah Hati.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of fiction story material for 4th graders of Mandala 02 State Elementary School (SDN) Cimanggu District, Cilacap Regency were still low. The researcher applied the numbered heads together (NHT) learning model with audio as a media. This study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) that designed in two cycles. The results showed that their average value of the class during the pre-test was 52.65, increased in the post-test results to 79.28 with an increase in classical learning completeness from 21.88% to 88.57%. Student learning activities in the first cycle of 73.91% increased in the second cycle to 77.76%. The teacher's performance score had reached the indicator of success with the final score in the first cycle of 82.5 increasing in the second cycle to 84.25. The application of the NHT learning model with audio media could improve Indonesian learning of fiction story material.
