Abstract

Pakcoy mustard greens are a type of rain-resistant vegetable. Pakcoy has green leaves with high nutritional content and economic value. One of the efforts that can be made to increase plant production is by providing fertilizer. Fertilization is carried out in order to meet the nutrient needs of plants, so that they can provide high yields, especially using organic fertilizer so that you can use waste as fertilizer. One type of recycled waste that can be used as organic fertilizer is egg shells, tea dregs and banana peels, each of which contains elements that are good for cultivation. Apart from that, pak choy mustard plants have the main problem that causes damage to pak choy, namely destructive pests that eat pak choy leaves such as plutella caterpillars, tritip caterpillars, armyworms, aphids (Aphids), cabbage spanner caterpillars. This research will be carried out from October to December 2023 at the UNISKA Integrated Field Laboratory. With a height of 67 meters above sea level, the temperature is 31.2◦C, humidity is 62.3% and soil pH is 6. Based on the research results, it shows that there is a very real influ.ence on the observed variables of plant height and number of leaves at the age of 14, 21 and 28 DAP, and it has an effect significant in root length at 28 days after planting. Fresh weight, dry weight, and armyworm pest attacks were lowest at P7.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of the growth regulator substances auxin and gibberellin as chemical mutagens on flowering time and harvest time of jack bean. This research was carried out in the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Bachelorwiyata Tamansiswa University, Yogyakarta City. This research was carried out from August to December 2023. The research was carried out using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method. Consisting of 4 replications, each replication contained 3 treatments. So 12 experimental units were obtained, namely: P1 = IAA 2 ppm + GA 10 ppm, P2 = IAA 4 ppm + GA 10 ppm, P3 = IAA 6 ppm + GA 10 ppm. The collected data was analyzed using 5% ANOVA and further tested using 5% Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The influence of the growth regulators auxin and gibberellin as chemical mutagens showed varying results at concentrations of IAA 4 ppm and GA 10 ppm which affected the day of harvest. However, there was no difference in flowering age between all treatments.

Abstract

One effort that can be made to improve soil fertility is by providing rich and petroganic powders. This research aims to determine the growth response of pakcoy plants to a combination of wood dust and petrorganic fertilizer treatments. This research was carried out from April to July 2023 in Sumber Rejeki Village, Merauke. This research used a randomized block design. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, and wet weight. The results of the research showed that the combination of sawdust and petroganic treatments had a different effect on each variable of pakcoy plant growth. The highest treatment on the plant height variable was obtained in the treatment without rich powder + 1 t.ha-1 petroganic fertilizer, the number of leaves in the sawdust treatment was 20 t.ha-1 + 3 t.ha-1 petroganic fertilizer, the leaf length was found in the treatment without wood dust + petroganic fertilizer 1 t.ha-1, leaf width was found in the treatment without sawdust + petroganic fertilizer 1 t.ha-1 and wet weight was found in the wood powder treatment 10 t.ha-1 + petroganic fertilizer 3 t.ha-1.

Abstract

Tanaman Kyuri (Cucumis sativus L.) adalah sayuran populer kaya gizi dan memiliki beragam manfaat kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Kyuri (Cucumis sativus L.) terhadap penggunaan agens hayati sebagai biomatriconditioning benih, yang diintegrasikan dengan media tanam berbeda. Agens hayati yang digunakan, seperti Mikoriza sp., Trichoderma sp. dan Beauveria sp. berperan sebagai pemacu pertumbuhan dengan meningkatkan penyerapan nutrisi serta meningkatkan resistensi tanaman terhadap patogen. Media tanam yang diuji meliputi campuran blotong, abu ketel, arang sekam, tanah, cocopeat dan pupuk kandang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) secara faktorial, di mana faktor pertama adalah perlakuan biomatriconditioning, sedangkan faktor kedua adalah jenis media tanam. Dari kedua faktor ini diperoleh 12 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan terbaik adalah kombinasi B2M2, yaitu penggunaan agens hayati Trichoderma sp. yang dikombinasikan dengan arang sekam sebagai biomatriconditioning, dan diintegrasikan dengan media tanam blotong + arang sekam. Berdasarkan hasil ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa integrasi antara agens hayati biomatriconditioning dan media tanam yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap semua parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman Kyuri (Cucumis sativus L.), sehingga dapat direkomendasikan sebagai metode optimal dalam budidaya tanaman Kyuri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine income, marketing channels, and determine hydroponic marketing strategies at Ijal Farm, Tulungagung Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative analysis method using SWOT analysis. The results of the study indicate that the position of the Ijal Farm farming business is in quadrant 1, which means that the strength of Ijal Farm, Tulungagung Regency in marketing hydroponic vegetables is greater than its weaknesses and there are more opportunities than threats. The recommended strategy is an aggressive strategy, meaning utilizing the strengths and capabilities of Ijal Farm to overcome existing weaknesses and threats. The marketing strategy used is to sell directly to customers who have been recorded or around residential areas or greenhouses, increase promotions to minimarkets, supermarkets and frozen markets in Tulungagung Regency and conduct promotions through social media to expand the promotional network

Abstract

Pomade is a styling material that is usually used by men with strong adhesion and a shiny finish. The potential of the lime part, especially lime waste as a natural hair care combined with mixed ingredients such as olive oil, castor oil, can be produced in the form of pomade hair oil. The purpose of this study is to find out the use of lime waste to improve the economy of farmers, to know the advantages and marketing strategies of lime waste treatment products. This activity is in collaboration with lime farmers of the "Sidowayah" Farmers Group, so that farmers can improve their welfare and productivity with the concept of Green Economy of lime waste. The method used in this study is agricultural business analysis and marketing strategy. The calculation of the R/C ratio of 1.296 (value >1) shows that lime pomade is profitable and worthy of being used as a business. The profit obtained based on the calculation of farming analysis is Rp. 57,150 for 10 production processes or Rp. 5,715 for 1 piece of lime pomade packaging. This lime pomade product has also been laboratory tested for Vitamin C content and Fe levels. This vitamin C activity test stage is a vitamin determination to determine the level of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) in orange, lime, and vitamin samples with iodometric titration. Laboratory results showed that every 100 mg contained 0.025 Vitamin C. Meanwhile, the laboratory results of Fe content contained in every 100 mg of lime extract sample were 3.92. Based on the results of this study, lime pomade is very feasible to be developed as a product that can improve the economy of lime farmers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of lime sales in Srengat village, and to determine the added value of lime sales in Srengat village, Blitar Regency. The current lime sales process is mostly carried out by farmers in Srengat directly without any packaging process. The Business Analysis research method was used in this study. Farming business analysis is used to determine the profit value of selling limes without packaging with packaging. The population or sample of this study were lime farmers and Purposive samples as the data collection technique. Data processing used Farming Business Analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the income received by farmers from the lime commodity is IDR 56,793,200. The income obtained by farmers is greater than the amount of costs that must be incurred to carry out lime farming, so this farming business is declared profitable to do. The R/C Ratio obtained a result of 5.09. This means that every expenditure of IDR 1 can provide an income of IDR 5.09 with the R/C result being 5.09> 1. Showing that lime farming in Srengat Village is profitable and feasible to develop. The added value obtained from handling packaged limes is Rp 66,230,000 with a ratio of 6.14 percent. Based on the analysis of the farming business, it can be concluded that selling packaged limes will provide greater profit value compared to selling without packaging. Analysis of added value in post-harvest lime activities shows that the greater the added value given to a product, the greater the profit obtained.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji persepsi masyarakat serta bagaimana persepsi dari aspek ekonomi, konservasi, dan sosial berpengaruh terhadap persepsi masyarakat program Perhutanan Sosial di Desa Salamrejo. Metode yang diterapkan merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data mencangkup observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Data diambil secara purposive sampling dari anggota maupun pengurus LMDH Jati Jaya, termasuk ketua, sekretaris, dan anggota aktif lainnya, dengan total 25 responden. Data dianalisis dengan Skala Likert dan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan jika di Desa Salamrejo, mayoritas responden yang merupakan anggota aktif LMDH Jati Jaya memiliki persepsi positif terhadap program ini dengan nilai kategori persepsi sebesar 3,60 yang menunjukkan sikap sangat baik terhadap keberadaan dan manfaat program Perhutanan Sosial bagi kehidupan mereka. Tidak hanya itu, hasil Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda memperlihatkan jika variabel aspek ekonomi secara signifikan mempengaruhi persepsi mereka terhadap program Perhutanan Sosial, menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pendapatan rumah tangga.

Abstract

Tanaman Pakcoy adalah tanaman hortikultura yang diminati karena kandungan gizinya yang kaya dan baik untuk kesehatan. Pakcoy memiliki batang dan daun yang lebih lebar daripada sawi hijau biasa, membuatnya banyak dibudidayakan oleh petani. Kandungan gizi seperti vitamin C, aldehida, keton, flavonoid, selenium, karotenoid, dan glukosinolat memberikan sifat antioksidan, antimikroba, dan antikanker pada tanaman Pakcoy. Dalam menghadapi tantangan meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman secara berkelanjutan dan meminimalkan dampak lingkungan, teknologi pertanian inovatif seperti pupuk majemuk berteknologi nano dan Trichoderma sp. menjadi solusi potensial. Pupuk nano meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan unsur hara pada tanaman Pakcoy dan mengurangi toksisitas tanah, sementara Trichoderma sp. membantu meningkatkan ketersediaan nutrisi dan ketahanan tanaman terhadap penyakit. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil dari analisa sidik ragam pada parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman diantaranya tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang dan berat tanaman bahwa perlakuan dengan kombinasi kombinasi P3T3 yaitu kombinasi Trichoderma sp. sebesar 15 g per tanaman dan pupuk majemuk berteknologi nano pada konsentrasi 15 mg/L (P3T3) merupakan perlakuan terbaik dan berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan lainya.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of soaking soyabean seeds in shallot extract, a natural ZPT, on viability and seed growth. The research was conducted from August to October 2024 in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Barital Islamic University using a completely randomised design (CRD) with five treatments and four replications. The treatments were seed soaking in water for 1 hour and shallot extract for 2, 3, 4 and 5 hours. Parameters observed included growth vigour, growth rate, growth synchronisation, and vigour index. The results showed that soaking for 3 hours gave the best results on all variables.
