Abstract

This study aims: 1) To find out and analyze the implementation of the responsibility of the Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi towards the fulfillment of consumer rights in drinking water services, 2) To find out and analyze the dispute resolution efforts carried out by Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi on the losses suffered by consumers. The method used in this research is the empirical juridical method. This research is descriptive, the sampling procedure is purposive sampling. The research results obtained are 1). The responsibility of the Tirta Muaro Jambi Drinking Water Perumda is an absolute responsibility (strict product liability) but in its implementation Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi not yet absolutely responsible for fulfilling consumer rights in drinking water services. There are still 115 complaints that have not been responded to or 46% of the 246 Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi customers who reported the complaint. 2) Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi has attempted to settle consumer demands for negligence by Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi but not optimal. Efforts made by Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi: a. Conduct site inspections in case of pipe leaks; b. Find out the cause of expensive payments; c. Replace the customer's water meter if there is damage due to negligence of the Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi. As well as efforts to resolve disputes that have existed at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Muaro Jambi are by way of peace or negotiation.Keywords: responsibility; consumer; drinking water.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know how the Influence of Service Quality, Trust, and Company Image on Customer Satisfaction at PT Bima Finance Medan. The population in this research were all customers of PT Bima Finance Medan, amounting to 803 customers. The number of samples taken was 89 respondents where the number of samples was determined by the Slovin formula. The side technique used was purposive sampling. This research was conducted in 2022. This research used quantitative data processed by SPSS with multiple linear regression models. The results showed that service quality, trust, and company image had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction at PT Bima Finance Medan either partially or simultaneously. Service quality was the most dominant variable affecting customer satisfaction with a regression value of 0.462 and tcount of 6.661. 94.0% customer satisfaction can be explained and obtained from service quality, trust, and company image, while the rest was by other factors. Customer satisfaction had a very strong / close relationship to service quality, trust, and company image.Keywords: Service Quality, Trust, Company Image, Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

Penelitianinibertujuanuntuk:1)Untukmengetahuilangkah-langkahpelaksanaankegiatanIHT dalammenyusunRPPuntukmeningkatkankompetensiprofesionalgurubagigurudiSMPN 15 Padang dalammelaksanakanpembelajaran.2)Untukmengetahuipeningkatan kompetensigurudiSMPN 15 Padang dalamMenyusunRencanaPelaksanaan Pembelajaran melalui kegiatan IHT. Subyek penelitian ini adalah semua guru SMPN 15 Padang. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklusnya meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif komparatif. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Langkah-langkah pelaksanaan IHT guna meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru dalam Menyusun RPP di SMPN 15 Padang adalah sebagai berikut: (a) Menyampaikan pengumuman kepada guru tentang akan dilaksanakannya kegiatan IHT mengenai penyusunan RPP; (b) Mempersiapkan materi bimbingan berupa pelaksanaan pembelajaran disertai simulasinya; (c) Mempersiapkan instrumen IHT; (d) Melaksanakan kegiatan IHT dengan tidak mengganggu kegiatan pembelajaran; dan e) Melaksanakan pengamatan di kelas saat dilaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran oleh guru; dan 2) IHT dapat meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru SMPN 15 Padang dalam menyusun RPP. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya kompetensi profesional guru baik dalam tahap persiapan maupun pelaksanaan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya ketercapaian kompetensi dari sebesar 69,58 pada kondisi awal, menjadi sebesar 72,81 pada akhir tindakan Siklus 1, dan meningkat menjadi 83,13 pada tindakan Siklus II.

Abstract

Technological progress is something that is currently a phenomenon where one of the efforts to increase work productivity is to provide protection to workers while they are working, namely by involving workers in the Labor Social Security program and implementing a safe K3 management system for workers. This is an obligation that must be carried out by the company. The Occupational Health and Safety Management System or commonly called SMK3 is part of the overall management system which includes the organizational structure of planning, responsibilities, implementation, process procedures and resources needed for achievement development, assessment and maintenance of occupational safety and health policies in the context of controlling risks related to work activities in order to create a safe workplace. With the existence of occupational safety and health (K3) learning software, information on occupational safety and health within the scope of the company can be well known. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product, price, location, and service partially and simultaneously on the decision to buy fast food at KFC Jalan Gajah Mada Medan. The form of research used is quantitative research. The data used is primary data. This study uses 100 respondents as the research sample and the sample selection technique is Accendential Sampling with the criteria of consumers who have made purchases to KFC Jalan Gajah Mada Medan. The data analysis technique used is instrument test (validity and reliability) and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the results show that the product, price, location, and service partially have a positive and significant effect on consumer behavior in making decisions to buy fast food at KFC Jalan Gajah Mada Medan. Product, price, location, and service simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decision to buy fast food at KFC Jalan Gajah Mada Medan.Keywords: Product, Price, Location, Service and Purchase Decision.

Abstract

Investing decisions are heavily influenced by the company's dividend policy, making it an important component to study. As part of the research, we'll look at how profitability affects dividend policy in publicly traded trade and service sector companies listed on the IDX throughout the 2016-2020 timeframe and how firm size affects dividend policy. The statistical analysis was carried out using the multivariate linear regression approach. Findings from this study reveal that a company's return on equity (ROE) has no influence on its payout policy while it is listed on the IDX between 2016 and 2020 based on these findings. The current ratio variable has a statistically significant and statistically significant effect on the dividend policy of businesses listed on the IDX. In firms that are traded, serviced, and invested in on the IDX, it has a substantial impact on dividend policy between 2016 and 2020 Return on equity (ROE), C:R and L:L all account for 40.9 percent of dividend policy influence in trade, service and investment sector companies that are listed on the IDX exchange. Abstract

Writing means the ability of the writers in making, expressing, delivering and sharing the ideas in written form. Due to its difficulties of the skill, the teacher should be creative in applying the effective technique, one of them is praise question polish technique.This research was experimental research. The population was the second grade students of SMP N 1 Kec, Luak. There were seven classes of the second grade students which consisted of 237 students. There were two classes chosen. VIII,2 as the experimental and VIII as control class.Cluster random sampling technique to choose these classes. The experimental class was taught using the Praise-Question-Polish (PQP) technique and control was taught using the usual strategy. The instrument was valid because it has content validity. Researcher used inter -rater to see the reliability of the instrument. To analyze the data, researcher used the t-test formula from Gay and Airasian. The researcher compared the t-calculate and t-table by using a significant level of 0.05 with the degree of freedom/df (). After the researcher got data, it was found that t-count was -0.6524 and t-table was 2.000. from the calculated null hypothesis was accepted. The t-test was smaller than t-table. It meant that the research hypothesis was rejected. In other word, there was not significant effect of using Praise-Question-Polish technique in teaching writing.keywords: writing, teaching writing, Praise-Question-Polish (PQP) Technique

Abstract

This research is a part of the author's final assignment when completing a master's degree in communication science at Andalas University, mid 2020 to 2022. This research explains that in order to handle a crisis by the public relations of the West Sumatra Provincial Government, public relations first recognizes the type of crisis first first, then the crisis stage, up to crisis management. Based on the research results, the type of crisis faced by the Provincial Government of West Sumatra is an immediate type of crisis, because it involves public transportation and community land acquisition. Furthermore, crisis management is carried out starting from identifying the crisis, Crisis Analysis, and Crisis Isolation. Abstract

The language style can be defined as the words people use when they are in certain conditions or places. People also use the language style depending on who the audience is and where they are speaking. The use of the right language style is needed to convey the message well. Students need to understand its use to live a social life in their environments. Many inappropriate language styles are still used, resulting in unclear information being conveyed. Students are expected to better understand and be able to use the language by learning the style that fits with their needs. The purpose of this study were to analyze the type of language style, to find out the dominant type of language style and to describe the factors that affect Guy in “Free Guy” movie to speak in a different style.In this study, the researcher used descriptive qualitative research design to collect the data. This research design was chosen because it was more suitable to describe the data. The researcher uses two instruments to collect the data. They are personal documentation and human instrument.  Personal documentation is used to collect the conversation that contains the data and human instrument uses to support research in completing the data. The researcher analyze language style that used by the main character in “Free Guy” movie by grouped  the data that has been collected according to the type of language and the researcher determines the most dominant type of language style. Then, the researcher determined the factors that influence the differences in the use of language styles. After the researcher analyses the conversations that contained 5 types of language style, the researcher found that there are four types of language style used by Guy in the movie: formal style, casual style, consultative style, and intimate style, while the frozen style was not found in the "Free Guy" movie. For more details as follows: formal style consisted 3 data, consultative style 12 data, casual style 5 data, and intimate style 15 data. Second, of the four types, the most dominant type was the intimate style, which consisted of 15 data. Third, the researcher found 4 factors that influence the differences in the use of language styles. They were the participants involved in the dialogue, the situation and place where the conversation takes place, the purpose of the conversation and the topic of the dialogue.

Abstract

Evaluation is a systematic process that aims to collect, analyze, and present useful information that has benchmarks, and the results of these evaluations can be used to make policies. Based on data from the Siak District Health Office in 2020 from 15 Puskesmas in Siak Regency, the lowest data for the elderly in utilizing the Elderly Health Service in the Perawang Health Center with 184 elderly (14.09%).  The purpose of the study was to analyze the Elderly Program in the Work Area of the Perawang Health Center.  The type of research is qualitative analytic with an observational design.  The research location is in the Work Area of the Perawang Health Center, Siak Regency (West Perawang Posyandu).  The research time is February to April 2022. There are 6 informants in this research, consisting of 1 key informant (Head of Perawang Health Center), 3 main informants (Elderly Program holder of Perawang Health Center, Midwife, Kader), and 1 supporting informant.  (Elderly Program Holder at the Health and Elderly Service).  Data were collected utilizing in-depth interviews and observations.  Data analysis was collected by triangulation of sources, methods, and data.  The results of this study are the planning has been running following the regulations that have been set. Human Resources / Officers are still lacking. Because doctors are lacking, officers have never received training. The facilities are still lacking because there is only 1 kit for the elderly for the public health center and the Posyandu for the elderly does not have a fixed building.  Monitoring and evaluation have not gone well because recording and reporting are not synchronized.  We hope that Cross Programs will cooperate in implementing the Posyandu for the elderly.Keywords: Evaluation of Elderly Program, Monitoring & Evaluation, Planning, Facilities.
