Abstract

Digital-based storytelling methods make it easier for teachers and parents to increase interest in reading in early childhood. so this research was conducted to analyze digital-based storytelling methods to increase interest in reading in early childhood in Samarinda city. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through in-depth interviews and observations of kindergarten and KB teachers and parents. By using digital in the process of storytelling activities to children so that children do not feel bored and saturated. Digital-based storytelling methods are key for teachers and parents in every learning activity to increase understanding and attract children's interest in reading. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive relationship between digital-based storytelling methods and children's reading interest, being fun for teachers and parents, supporting children's learning participation in reading interest. However, this study also identified challenges in the digital storytelling method, such as teachers who are still unfamiliar with the use of technology and parents' low economic status. Teachers and parents stated that this digital storytelling method can help and provide adequate support to be an attraction in children's interest in reading. This study concludes that although digital storytelling has the potential to increase children's interest in reading, digital storytelling has the potential to increase children's interest in reading

Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact across various sectors, including the healthcare sector. Bandung Regency, as one of the regions with a large population, is currently facing an issue of inequality in the distribution of healthcare facilities such as midwives, community health centers (puskesmas), and clinics. This disparity has made it difficult for residents, especially those in remote and densely populated areas, to access adequate healthcare services, ultimately affecting public health quality. This study aims to address the issue of unequal distribution of healthcare facilities in Bandung Regency by designing and implementing a Geographic Information System (GIS) as a strategic solution. By utilizing GIS, healthcare facility locations can be digitally mapped, providing a more accurate representation of their distribution and helping to identify areas that require development and equitable distribution of healthcare services. GIS also enables local governments to formulate more effective, data-driven policies to improve healthcare access. The results of this study are expected not only to enhance efficiency in healthcare facility planning but also to accelerate more precise decision-making and support equitable access to healthcare services across the region. The implementation of GIS is anticipated to reduce disparities in access to healthcare facilities and improve the quality of healthcare services in Bandung Regency, potentially serving as a model for other regions facing similar challenges.

Abstract

Education is an important aspect in developing quality human resources, where the distribution of education levels in a region is the main indicator for identifying inequality and determining the need for government intervention. Gedebage District, which is located in Bandung City, has data related to education level that still requires more structured and informative management. To support this effort, this research aims to design and implement a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS). This GIS is designed to map the distribution of education levels in an interactive, easy to access manner, and is able to provide informative and comprehensive data visualization. This system was developed using the latest technology, such as modern web frameworks and digital map integration, to ensure the accuracy and quality of the data presented. The research results show that this system can assist in analyzing education distribution, support strategic decision making, and increase information accessibility for the community and stakeholders. With its ability to present data interactively, GIS is expected to be an effective tool in supporting educational equality in Gedebage District as well as making a real contribution to educational planning in Bandung City as a whole

Abstract

Bandung Regency has great tourism potential, but providing integrated and easily accessible tourism information remains a major challenge. This study aims to develop a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based application that can provide interactive and structured tourist location information. The application is designed to improve information accessibility, assist tourists in determining destinations, and support tourism promotion in Bandung Regency. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with an Agile Development approach. The development process includes problem identification, geographic and descriptive data collection, user needs analysis, system design, application development using GIS technology, and testing through alpha and beta tests. Implementation uses technologies such as Leaflet, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap. The results show that this GIS application successfully provides easy access to tourism information through features like an interactive map, location search, tourism category filters, and comprehensive data presentation. Additionally, the application offers a responsive interface compatible with various devices, making it easily accessible via smartphones and computers. The use of this application is expected to enhance the tourist experience, expand tourism promotion, and assist local governments in digitally managing tourism data. With the presence of this application, issues related to the accessibility of tourism information in Bandung Regency can be effectively resolved, while also encouraging sustainable growth in the regional tourism sector

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrative learning model in improving students' literacy and numeracy in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif Trikarso, Kebumen Regency. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through interviews with the madrasah head, deputy head of curriculum, and students, as well as observation and documentation. The learning process is carried out based on four stages of management, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. The research results have several stages. In the planning stage, the full approach is applied by identifying relevant themes that integrate various subjects, using local context-based learning materials, and designing projects across subject areas. The organizing stage involves forming cross-subject teaching teams and providing supporting resources such as modules and integrative evaluation tools. During the implementation stage, the project-based method is applied, encouraging students to discuss, explore information and link concepts from various lessons. The supervision stage is conducted through classroom monitoring, evaluation of learning outcomes with integrative instruments, and reflection to improve learning strategies. The results show that the integrative learning model is effective in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills. However, this research is still limited to the effectiveness of learning integration without exploring the relationship between collaboration and motivation between teachers and students. Future research is expected to explore these aspects to support the success of learning more thoroughly

Abstract

A well-thought-out and flexible extension plan is crucial to promoting higher small-scale farmers' incomes. Farmers may boost agricultural output and compete in a larger market by using an appropriate extension strategy. Finding the key elements influencing young people's interest in growing organic broccoli in Sumberejo Village, Batu District, is the goal of this research. Knowledge, experience, and information are among these elements, which are often divided into two categories: internal factors (such intrinsic qualities) and external ones (like social environment, education, and familial influence). Sumberejo Village was selected due to its excellent potential for growing broccoli and Batu City's favourable soil conditions. The analytical technique known as structural equation modelling, or SEM, enables the testing of causal links between variables in the study model. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient reliability test findings indicated that all items were valued at ≥ 0.6, suggesting that the research instrument was deemed practicable and trustworthy. To gather research data, the questionnaire was subsequently given to 60 responders

Abstract

This study aims to develop an educational game to improve the learning outcomes in Social Sciences and Natural Sciences (IPAS) for students at SDN 14 Dompu, based on the case method and team-based project approaches, which is valid, practical, and effective. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4-D. The results show that the IPAS educational game has a feasibility percentage of 80%, which falls into the feasible category, and a practicality level of 74%, indicating that the game is practical to use. Furthermore, the evaluation of effectiveness shows that students’ pre-test score was 57%, suggesting moderate effectiveness at the initial stage, while the post-test score increased to 73%, indicating that the game is effective to use, resulting in a 16% improvement in learning outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed IPAS educational game is feasible, practical, and effective for improving students' learning outcomes in IPAS.

Abstract

The Pongok Bemban-Payak Ramai Irrigation Area, with a potential area of approximately 13 ha, is a rice field area located in Pongok Village, Pongok Islands District, South Bangka Regency. The geographical location of Pongok Village, which is the outermost region of the Regency, makes the community highly vulnerable to difficulties in obtaining food due to uncertain weather and sea conditions. Currently, farmers can only plant rice once a year, during the rainy season. Additionally, several hectares of land are affected by sea tides that enter the rice fields. This issue is exacerbated by the simple irrigation network, lack of reservoirs, and proximity to the sea, which causes water to be wasted during the rainy season. Limited water sources and land are the main challenges for farmers and local governments, making the intensification of agricultural land and its irrigation network a top priority to increase the cropping index and land productivity. This study proposes an alternative solution, which is the construction of a weir equipped with a spillway and drain door to maximize existing water sources. The operation of weirs and sluice gates plays a crucial role in efforts to increase the cropping index and land productivity. The results of the intensification of the irrigation network establish a water balance with a planting pattern of 100% rice - 100% rice - 30% rice (IP 230), with the beginning of planting in November period I and a total harvest area of approximately 30 ha. A weir reservoir with a length of 500 m, width of 15 m, and depth of 2.5 m is designed to accommodate the third planting period (MT) in the dry season. Abstract

The addition of activated charcoal to the cement matrix can increase the density and durability of the mortar. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of activated charcoal on the characteristics of composite mortar including compressive strength, density, and water absorption. Making mortar composite with the composition of activated charcoal to the weight of cement (1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5%), the ratio of cement and sand is 1: 3. The composition will be tested and analyzed for its effect on the compressive strength, density, and water absorption of mortar composite. The results showed that the addition of activated charcoal did not have a significant effect on the characteristics of mortar composite, except for the setting density. The addition of activated charcoal by 5% showed an optimal composition with a compressive strength value of 11.67 MPa, a setting density of 2092.91 kg / m3, an oven-dry density of 1853.93 kg / m3, and a water absorption of 15.20%

Abstract

Access information about marketing events, MSMEs must search through the internet. Looking on the internet, of course, you must be observant and patient in finding the desired marketing event, such as looking for an exhibition/Bazaar that is close to the location of MSMEs so that it is easy to reach and does not require a lot of transportation costs, looking for workshops on certain topics, looking for exhibitions/bazaars that match the products sold, and so on. These various search criteria are what need extra effort for MSMEs to find them. Information about marketing events obtained through the internet is also not necessarily accurate, because now increasingly widespread fraud to the public about the procurement of bazaars in offices, malls and crowded places. Make it easier for MSMEs and Event marketing organizers to find or provide information related to an event, an android-based application that is easy to download and access is needed to facilitate it. This application contains a database of marketing events obtained from various meida and has been checked in advance to ensure the truth so as to minimize MSMEs from fraud under the guise of marketing events. This application has a search feature location marketing event using haversine formula and data search marketing event according to keywords entered by the user, such as searching for workshops with a particular topic, with the Boyer Moore method. The event marketing application provides benefits to MSME actors by providing various information about the exhibition or bazaar activities that will be held so as to encourage MSMEs to more actively participate in these activities. The activeness of MSME actors in various marketing events is expected to increase sales and expand MSME relationships that will provide a positive climate in the business world
