Abstract

Encyclopedia teaching materials can enhance the learning process by being clearly and attractively packaged, which helps prevent boredom and engages both students and teachers. This is particularly beneficial for grade V science teachers at SDIT Al-Irsyad Pamekasan, who have observed that many students' achievements fall below the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria). By integrating Islam and science into these encyclopedia teaching materials, teachers can better support students' understanding of human motion systems and strengthen their confidence in Allah SWT. This research aims to evaluate (1) the feasibility and (2) the effectiveness of these integrated encyclopedia materials at SDIT Al-Irsyad Pamekasan. Using the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation, the study involved fifth-grade students as subjects. Results indicate that the encyclopedia is highly valid, effective, and attractive, meeting user needs. Validation results show that material experts rated the encyclopedia at 96%, design experts at 87.5%, language validation at 80%, and science learning experts at 92%, all in the "very decent" category. The encyclopedia's attractiveness was rated at 88.4%. The effectiveness of these teaching materials is further demonstrated by pre-test and post-test scores: the average pre-test score was 68.48, and the post-test score was 87.59. Manual t-test calculations showed tcount (5.145) was greater than ttable (1.703) at a significance level of 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This signifies significant improvement, confirming that the developed encyclopedia teaching materials are highly effective and suitable for teaching human motion systems.

Abstract

In selecting a vocational high school (SMK), parents and prospective students must make informed decisions that align with their preferences and aspirations. This aspect creates a competitive environment among SMKs in attracting students. Before competing with other schools, both SMA/SMK consider various advantages to enhance their competitiveness. This research aims to investigate the influence of Industry Collaboration, School Achievement, and Education Cost Competitiveness, and determine whether Strategic Management can moderate the relationship between Industry Collaboration, School Achievement, and Education Cost on Competitiveness. This study was conducted at SMK Nusantara Wisata Respati with 60 respondents. Data were analyzed quantitatively using Multiply regression analysis (MRA) using SPSS 24.0. The research findings indicate that industry collaboration, school achievement, and education costs do not significantly influence competitiveness. Meanwhile, strategic management can moderate the relationship between industry collaboration and school achievement on competitiveness, while strategic management does not significantly moderate the relationship between education cost and competitiveness.

Abstract

This study explores how the Diversification Strategy mediates financial outcomes associated with Intellectual Capital, Capital Structure, and Operational Costs. The population comprised food and beverage firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2022. Samples were selected via purposive sampling from fifteen different companies. Data were sourced secondarily from the IDX Website. Moderate Regression Analysis (M.R.A.) was conducted using SmartPLS software version 3.0, with a significance level set at α (alpha) 0.05 in this research. It was demonstrated that Intellectual Capital and Capital Structure impact financial performance. Conversely, neither Operational Costs nor Diversification Strategy influence the company's bottom line. According to the study's findings, aspects of financial performance related to intellectual capital, capital structure, and operational expenses are unaffected by the diversification approach.

Abstract

The dominance of conventional instructional methods in language education often results in rigid, less engaging learning environments. As a response, fun learning strategies have emerged as innovative approaches to enhance student enthusiasm and active participation. This study explores the implementation of fun learning strategies in teaching Maharah Kalam (speaking skills) at Markaz Arabiyah Pare. Employing a descriptive qualitative method within a case study framework, the research was conducted using the researcher as the primary instrument, supported by an interview guide. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that the fun learning strategy in Maharah Kalam instruction is implemented through four core activity types involving nine specific methods: (1) Daily activities, incorporating sualan (questioning) and games; (2) Thematic speaking practice, including drama, demonstration, promotion, and debate; (3) Daily evaluations such as Ashfudzihni; and (4) Monthly events like MC practice and taqdimul qishshoh (storytelling presentations). These strategies significantly contribute to Arabic language acquisition by increasing learner motivation, building self-confidence in speaking, and promoting active classroom participation. The study underscores the value of integrating creative, interactive methods into language instruction to support learner-centered education and communicative competence in Arabic.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), as traditional centers of Islamic education, are increasingly confronted with the challenges posed by modernization, particularly in the domain of financial technology. In response, PPSM Thohir Yasin implemented an electronic payment system utilizing smart card technology through its affiliated business unit, Thohir Yasin Mart. This study aimed to examine the influence of electronic payment, lifestyle, and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) students at PPSM Thohir Yasin. Employing a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional survey method, data were collected from 300 students selected through stratified purposive sampling based on class level, gender, and residential status. Structured, closed-ended questionnaires were disseminated online during the pesantren’s Ramadan holiday in 2025. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25, incorporating validity and reliability testing, classical assumption checks, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that electronic payment exerted a negative and significant influence on consumptive behavior (t = -8.760; p < 0.001), lifestyle demonstrated a positive and significant impact (t = 5.719; p < 0.001), while financial literacy had a positive but statistically non-significant effect (t = 1.682; p = 0.094). Collectively, the three variables significantly influenced consumptive behavior (p < 0.001), explaining 29.8% of the variance (R² = 0.298). The study concludes that lifestyle is the most influential factor driving students’ consumptive behavior, whereas financial literacy does not yet exert a substantial effect. These findings underscore the need for pesantren-based policies that promote responsible electronic transactions and strengthen financial education in alignment with Islamic values.

Abstract

This study was conducted in response to inconsistent findings in previous research regarding the impact of peer interaction on student learning outcomes. It aims to examine the effect of peer interaction on learning outcomes within a digital learning environment, with computer self-efficacy serving as a mediating variable. Utilizing a causal-associative design and a quantitative approach, the study employed purposive sampling to select 248 student participants. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3 software. The results revealed that: (1) peer interaction has a significant and positive effect on learning outcomes; (2) peer interaction significantly and positively influences computer self-efficacy; (3) computer self-efficacy has a significant but negative effect on learning outcomes; and (4) the indirect effect analysis indicates that peer interaction significantly and negatively influences learning outcomes when mediated by computer self-efficacy. These findings underscore the importance of fostering supportive peer environments to enhance students’ confidence in digital tool usage and to optimize learning outcomes.
