Abstract

This research aims to analyze the suitability of the components of the lesson plan of fifth grade theme 1 according to 2013 curriculum. This research used descriptive qualitative research method. As a data collection technique, the writer used documentation technique. As a data analyze, the writer used descriptive qualitative technique. The results showed that the lesson plan of grade V theme 1, component the identity of the lesson, lesson purpose, media, study materials, opening activity, main activity, closing activity, and assessment are suit according to 2013 curriculum. The results of this research indicate that the lesson plan of fifth grade Theme 1 that made by the teacher is in accordance with the provisions of the 2013 curriculum in terms of the components of lesson plan identity, learning objectives, learning media, teaching materials, opening activities, core activities, closing activities, and assessment. The implementation of the lesson plan will be maximized if the preparation pays more attention to the principles and criteria for the preparation of an appropriate lesson plan according to the 2013 curriculum. This research can practically be used as a reference material for teachers and schools in preparing an appropriate lesson plan according to the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out about the application of authentic assessment in the Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta Elementary School, and to determine the extent of the suitability between the applied authentic assessment and the Assessment Guidelines for Elementary Schools.This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The main subjects in this research were teachers of grade four H and the main object was an assessment document. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and document study techniques. Data validity in this research used data triangulation techniques. Analysis of the data used in this research is to use data analysis model of Miles and Huberman.The results of this research is The teacher applied three aspects of assessment. First, afektif aspect uses observation, self, and peer assessment techniques. Second, kognitif aspect uses written test assessment techniques, oral tests, and assignments. Third, psikomotor aspect uses performance and project assessment techniques. The conclusion of this research is that teachers have implemented an assessment of the 2013 Curriculum based on the Assessment Guidelines for Primary Schools published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, but not all of them have been implemented in practice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) whether there is a relationship between mastery of literary literacy and  write children’s story; 2) the relationship of interest to learn with the ability to write children’s story; (3) the relationship between mastery literary literacy and interst to learn with the ability to write children’s story. The method used is the survey correlational method. The sample is 4 elementary schools, totaling 112 students. Data collection using tests and questionnaires. The ability to write children story is used in the form of a composing test instrument, an instrument of interest to learn used in the form of a questionnaire, mastering literary literacy of data variables obtained with choice test. Data were analyzed using simple correlation and multiple correlation analysis. The results showed that (1) there was a significant relationship between literary literacy mastery with the ability to write children storyr rcount (0,98)> rtable (0,192), the correlation coefficient tested by t test, the results of tcount (65,08)> ttable (1.98); (2) there is significant the relationship between interest to learn and write children story ability price r count (0,99)> r table (0,185), the correlation coefficient is tested by t test, the ttcount (65.08)> Table (1.98); (3) there is a significant correlation between literary literacy and interest to learn together with the ability to write narration. ry (1,2) equal to 0.97, the coefficient of significance with the F test obtained F count = 27517.35, the real level á = 0, 05, with df 109 obtained Ftable = 3.08 then Fcount> Ftable. Thus, it can be concluded that mastery of literacy and interest of learn has significant relationship with students' ability to write children story.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted to describe teacher’s personal and social competences applying disciplinary attitudes in civic education learning for grade I SD Negeri Tegalrejo No. 98 Academic Year 2020/2021. These research belongs to qualitative research with descriptive qualitative methodes and a case study approach. Teachers and students of class I SD Negeri Tegalrejo No. 98, totaling 14 students, became the research subjects. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research is based on the interactive analysis technique of Miles and Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity by triangulating techniques and sources. The result showed that the disciplinary attitude of the students was quite good, but there were still some obstacles in its implementation. Indicators of collecting assignments directly in schools have not been fulfilled and there are still network constraints during the implementation of learning. Based on the research results, it can be said that the appplication of a disciplined attitude needs to be instilled from an early age.Keywords: personality and social teacher competency, discipline, elementary school, civic education learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the learning difficulties in social science of fourth grade students at Soropadan elementary school. The research data collected through document study analysis, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman. Results of the data analysis showed that students experienced difficulties in material diversity in Indonesia, natural resources, economic activities, jobs, and kingdoms during the Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic periods. Form of learning difficulties was difficult to understand the subject matter or the assignment and forgot easily after learn. Difficulties occured because students through that there was a lot of social science material so that it had an impact on incomprehension, lack of interest in social science lessons, lack of parental assistance while learning, limited learning resources, implementation of learning was not going well. Efforts were made to overcome the learning difficulties of social sciences: teacher observed the learning process and outcomes of students, allowed the students to find information in internet, parents thought their children to read materials, include their children to tutoring, students reread materials, asked the parent, and look for information in internet. This research can be used as a guide in minimizing learning difficulties of social science.Keywords: learning difficulties, social science, causative factor, effort, and elementary school

Abstract

This qualitative research was undertaken to describe about profile of students creativity thinking skill in natural science of V.3th grade students in SDN Mangkubumen Lor No. 15 Surakarta. The subject that used in this research were 6 students who selected by using purposive sampling. The methods data collection of this research used tests and interviews. Creativity thinking skill aspects include fluency, flexibility, and originality. The results of this research showes that the profile of creativity thinking skill at SDN Mangkubumen Lor No.15  in the creative criteria. Percentage of the profile of creativity thinking skill of V.3th grade in SDN Mangkubumen Lor No. 15 at 77,59%. This is the percentages for each indikator of creativity thinking skill. The percentage of fluency obtained 83.33%. The indicator of flexibility obtained 77.78%. And in the originality indicator obtained 66.67%. The most dominant indicator is fluency. Creative thinking skills are important for every students, so teachers must be able to develop their creativity thinking skill.

Abstract

The goal of this research were 1) to describe the implementation of Indonesian language learning, and 2) to describe students' learning motivation in finding the main idea of paragraphs in grade IV SD Djama’atul Ichwan Surakarta. The method applied in this research is descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation study.. This study used a validity test technique in the form of triangulation of data and sources. The data were then analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/ verification. The result is there are 3 students who have high motivation and 3 students who have low motivation. The indicator that has not been fulfilled by most subjects is the good use of time, while the indicator that is fulfilled by all subjects is being able to work independently .The category of learning motivation that is owned by most of the fourth grade students is external motivation. The  research implication can add references and insights for further research and be used as a reference for teachers and students related to learning motivation in finding the main ideas in paragraphs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the integration of life skills in science learning theme always save energy in students in grade IV SD Negeri Pajang 4 Surakarta. The research uses descriptive qualitative method with case study approach. Students, teachers and parents of grade IV as subjects. Collection techniques with interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. Miles and Huberman's analysis is used for data analysis. Validity of data by triangulating techniques and sources. The result of this research is that teachers integrate life skills in science learning themes always save energy on learners. Found four skills, namely personal, social, intellectual and vocational skills that run well. Then there are the obstacles of each teacher's skills and efforts to overcome obstacles by maintaining communication, instilling honesty, tolerance of delays in collecting tasks, looking at the process of student activities and others.

Abstract

The fact so far shows the ability of teachers to manage online learning is still low. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of training and mentoring in the development of student worksheets and kahoot-based assessment instruments for elementary school teachers. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The sample in this study were teachers in Jogorogo District, Ngawi Regency, East Java Province. The data collection technique used is a test. Data were analyzed using N-Gain.The results showed an increase in teacher knowledge of the Kahoot application to develop innovative LKPD. The Pre-test showed an average score of 63.95 while there was an increase in the Post-test with an average score of 70.35. Thus, teachers can improve their pedagogical skills in developing worksheets based on the KAHOOT application.

Abstract

Literacy is one of the elements assessed in PISA. The research objective was to determine the mathematics literacy skills of elementary school teachers and the development of mathematics literacy in primary schools. This research activity consists of 3 stages, namely the pre-training stage, the implementation stage and the program evaluation stage. Activities carried out in the pre-training stage are need analysis and preparing training instruments. The program implementation activities consist of 3 stages, namely 1) Expert explanation on mathematical literacy 2) Planning and compilation of habituation and learning that can develop mathematical literacy 3) Providing feedback on the development of mathematical literacy through the peer-correction stage. Activities carried out in program evaluation include mentoring the application of habituation and learning that can develop elementary school students' mathematical literacy. Based on the results of statistical tests, it is concluded that the Mathematical Literacy Development Workshop on the Aspects of Habit and Learning for Elementary School Teachers can improve the understanding of workshop participants. The understanding of elementary school teachers in Wonogiri district has increased compared to before the training activities were implemented. This means that community service activities are useful for elementary school teachers in Wonogiri district. These results are also with the results of interviews and teacher assessment questionnaires that the Mathematical Literacy Development Workshop on the Aspects of Habitual and Learning for Elementary School Teachers is very useful for elementary school teachers in improving their pedagogical abilities.
