Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menulis dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah. Pendekatan yang digunakan berupa pendekatan kolaboratif, Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan meliputi: 1) Metode Pemaparan Ahli; 2) Diskusi; 3) Tanya Jawab; 4) Praktik Langsung; 5) Pemaparam hasil diskusi dan pemberian feed back. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru SD di SDN Laweyan Surakarta. Terdapat 15 guru SD. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan hasil rata-rata nilai pre test adalah 59,5 dengan jumlah ketuntusan 2 (48, 33 5 %) dari 15 guru. Sedangkan untuk nilai postest rata-rata nilai peserta adalah 78,5 dengan jumlah ketuntusan 7 (83,33 %) dari 15 guru. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpukan, bahwa melalui pengbidan ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menulis dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the suitability of fictional character values in Grade IV Student Book Theme 8 with 18 character values curriculum 2013. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with content analysis approach. The data and data sources in this study are fictions contained in the Grade IV Theme 8 Student Book. Data collection in this study uses observation techniques and document studies that are reduced to be then presented in instruments and verified. Based on the results of the research obtained that the value of characters that appear in fiction in the Book of Students Grade IV Theme 8 amounted to 14, namely: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, respect for achievement, communicative pleasure friendly / proactive, care for the environment, social care, and responsibility. From the 14 character values, it can be known that the percentage of character appearance in fiction in The Grade IV Student Book Theme 8 is 77.78%. Based on the percentage obtained, it can be stated that the value of the characters in the fiction story in the Grade IV Student Book Theme 8 is appropriate.Keywords character values, fictional stories, Curriculum 2013, student book

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the suitability between problem and concept of HOTS in question of social sciences semester 1 of grade fourth Elementary School Kerten 2 Surakarta for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research uses thinking level and stimulus indicators. The results of this research shows that there is no conformity between hots concept and problem because the percentage of HOTS on social science questions only 9%. The primary data in this research is a document evaluate of the learning results of theme 1 to theme 5 social sciences grade fourth Elementary School Kerten 2 Surakarta. The results of this research is useful to improve teachers quality when make a question with cognitive levels to learners so they can make some levels on their assessements. In addition, this research is intend as an option to determine the criteria of the questions to improve the critical thinking of learners.

Abstract

Abstract. This research to describe the critical thinking skills of students on the material rights and obligations of the civic education learning class IV Tegalrejo Public Elementary School No. 98 academic years 2020/2021. Critical thinking was important to face the competition of life in the 21st century. This qualitative research used descriptive qualitative and phenomenological approache. This study recommends other research on critical thinking skills. Teachers and students of grade IV Tegalrejo Public Elementary School No.98, totaling 22 students, became the research subjects. The researcher used observation, interviews, and documentation to collect the data. The data analysis technique of this research based on the interactive analysis technique of Miles and Huberman. Data validity test by triangulation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of students in the material of rights and obligations in the civic education learning class IV Tegalrejo Public Elementary School  No. 98 Academic Year 2020/2021 based on visible indicators was at a moderate level. This research expected to add knowledge for teacher, schools, and other researcher in developing critical thinking skills, especially in civic education learning so that it can optimize the knowledge and practice in everyday life.Keywords: critical thinking, rights and obligations, civic education, primary school .

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the composition of questions and characteristics of HOTS questions in the final assessment of semester 1 of grade five Elementary School 1 Ngepungsari for the 2019/2020 academic year. The method used is descriptive document analysis. The data source is the fifth-grade Semester 1 Final Assessment document. The data collection technique used was document study. Data are analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this research indicate that the composition of the HOTS and LOTS items is still not ideal, because the composition of the HOTS and LOTS questions is still not balanced, and the characteristics of the HOTS questions in the Final Assessment items are 43 items. All of the questions had the characteristics of higher-order thinking skills, and 11 of them were also questions that used contextual problem-based characteristics. This research is used to provide teacher knowledge in making final semester assessment questions. This research can also be a theoretical basis for further relevant research. The results of this study can also be used as a solution to the obstacles experienced by the teacher in determining a good composition of questions for the final semester assessment.

Abstract

This research aim is to find student's learning methods at home, the obstacles encountered while students studying at home, and the solutions to these obstacles. This research using descriptive qualitative research methods and using a phenomenological approach. The data sources in this research are students of 4th SDN Bayan Purworejo and studet’s parents. Data collection techniques were carried by questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies, and data validity testing using technical triangulation and source triangulation. Data are analyzed by Miles and Huberman data analysis model. The results of this research indicate that while studying at the homes, the student’ learning methods are to make schedules and implement them, read books, take notes, and do assignments. When studying at home, students encounter several obstacles, there are limited learning support tools, low discipline to learn, and difficulty in understanding the material. To overcome these obstacles, the solutions are implementing study group activities with restrictions of students in the group, parents are firm in making schedules so that student's daily activities can be controlled, and if the students can't understand the material can ask their parents/siblings/class teacher. The results of this research can also be used to increase students' insights about learning methods that can be used at home, bases of relevant research, and reference for parents to make improvements in learning facilities and learning quality so student's learning processes are better and can improve learning output.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the questions on grade five mathematics textbook 2018 revision of the 2013 curriculum based on mathematical literacy. The sample of this study is a competency test item on each basic competency. This study use descriptive qualitative method. Data collection in this study use document review. Data analysis in this study use the Miles and Huberman’s model which consist of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study is questions that include mathematical literacy from total number of competency test is 53 % or 56 questions. The level of mathematical literacy questions is only at level 1 until level 3 with a specification of level 1is 9 % or 5 questions, level 2 is 41 % or 23 questions, and level 3 is 50 % or 28 questions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to boost social skills by implement the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. This research is a Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this study were grade 4th students in SD Negeri 2 Karangasem Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020, amounting to 31 students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation with data analysis of content validity and triangulation. Analysis of the data used is the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The first cycle produces a percentage of 61.29% classically, and the study continues with the second cycle with a percentage of 80,64% classically. Based on the results obtained , it can be concluded that social skills in students of SD Negeri 2 Karangasem Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year could be upgraded with Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the use of learning media and constructivism learning theory during the learning activities. This research uses descriptive qualitative research metods and case study approach. Sources of data in this study was fifth grade teachers and fifth grade students of SDN Tunggulsari II Surakarta. The data collection technique was done by observing, interviewing and studying documents. The data were analyzed using the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman.The result of this study indicate that during online learning activities the teachers continues to use learning media to help provide teaching materials. The media used by the teachers was simplified and adapted due to the condition and facilities that student have. Constructivism learning theory during the learning includes the appearance of student looking for, exploring, and discovering new knowledge by themselves.The series of learning activites during the online learning implemented by the teacher was accordance with  2013 curiculum learning. The learning process that carried out by the teachers also reflects to tematic learning. The result of this study can also be used to increase teacher insight of the use of media during online learning and constructivism learning theory can be applied during learning to make student more active.

Abstract

This study was conducted to reveal and describe the meaning of the effectiveness of online learning during the Covid-19 outbreak in fifth grade students of SD Negeri Wirotaman. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research was conducted using data collection techniques in the form of interview techniques, observation techniques, and documentation techniques. Sources of data in this study were students in grade V, teachers, and parents of students. The data in this study were processed using inductive data processing techniques according to Miles and Huberman. Based on the research results, the researcher found six variables that emerged, namely the online learning process, learning facilities, tutoring, students' understanding of the material, online learning constraints, and learning outcomes. Of the six variables found, the researcher has a relationship between one variable and another. Judging from the results of the study, the implementation of online learning for grade V SD Negeri Wirotaman was less effective. Online learning activities as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak caused obstacles that were felt by students. Students find it difficult to understand the subject matter, lack of concentration, are bored, and an unstable internet network.
