Abstract

This research develops a data-driven approach to improve overburden operational performance at PT Bukit Asam Tbk by utilizing Monte Carlo simulation as the primary analytical tool. Simulation results identified two main operational constraints. First, although the Matching Factor between loading and hauling equipment was balanced, the total fleet capacity was insufficient to achieve production targets. Second, poor synchronization (evidenced by high occurrences of “Wait Hauler” and “No Hauler” standby time) contributed to low Use of Availability (UA) and Equipment Utilization (EU), which reduces Effective Working Hours (EWH). First is to give addition to the fleet setting in East Pit 3, and second is to implement a real-time Mine Traffic Control (MTC) system. The proposed solutions were tested through simulation. Results showed that equipment addition could increase production by up to 26.8% and improve productivity by 1.76%. Meanwhile, the MTC system was projected to reduce controllable standby by 10.44%, increase EWH by 4.77%, and raise production under stable productivity conditions to 4.77%. Overall, the use of simulation and data-driven strategies proves effective in identifying root causes, designing measurable interventions, and validating their impact on productivity. The findings offer practical insights for improving operational efficiency of mining equipment operations in PT Bukit Asam Tbk

Abstract

The #KaburAjaDulu hashtag phenomenon that has been widely discussed on platform X reflects the increasing anxiety of Indonesia's younger generation towards socio-economic conditions and the direction of state policy. This research aims to assess public perception of the hashtag through sentiment analysis and topic modeling approaches. Data was collected from X users' tweets from May to June 2025. The methods used include text preprocessing, sentiment classification using Naïve Bayes, SVM, and K-NN algorithms, and topic modeling with Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). The analysis results show that SVM performs best with 98.93% accuracy and optimal precision-recall balance. The Naïve Bayes model also shows competitive results but tends to favour positive classes. In contrast, K-NN showed the lowest performance due to its inability to overcome the curse of dimensionality in TF-IDF representation. LDA topic modeling identified three main themes: the employment crisis, distrust of institutions due to corruption, and the nationalism vs. migration dilemma. These three topics indicate deep psychological conflicts experienced by youth. The findings support the Self-Determination Theory, which emphasizes the importance of autonomy, competence, and social connection for individual attachment to the environment. Lack of fulfilment of these needs triggers migration intentions as a form of escape or adaptive strategy. This research provides a practical contribution to designing HR policies based on social data. In addition, this approach can be used as the basis for a real-time public perception monitoring system.

Abstract

The creative economy has become a strategic sector in driving regional economic growth, including in South Tangerang City. This study aims to formulate a policy for the establishment of a Creative Hub and a channeling pattern for creative economy actors that is applicable and sustainable. The study uses a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, FGDs, participatory observations, and SWOT and Business Model Canvas analysis. The results of the study indicate that the establishment of an effective Creative Hub requires synergy between the government, business actors, and supporting institutions, with the support of adaptive regulations such as the RPJMD and the Creative Economy Law. Collaboration across sectors and regions is key to creating an integrated creative ecosystem. In addition, a structured channeling model can strengthen creative economy actors' access to markets, technology, and financing. Abstract

The high demand fluctuations caused SA Bakery to experience several problems such as lack of control over raw material inventory and excess shortages in raw material inventory. To help the company, this research aims to reduce inventory costs, reduce order frequency, and stabilize raw material inventory. In achieving these objectives, an operational management approach is applied in this study. One of the techniques in inventory control, namely, Material Requirement Planning (MRP) will be used. In implementing a good MPR system, the MRP Easy method integrates the inventory in the SA Bakery Bakery. In running the MRP Easy method by integrating information using software, one of the software is MRPEasy in the form of a dashboard and also an inventory management system to control the inventory system in it. The input used is BOM data, Orders, forecasting, MPS, and Inventory. The output obtained is in the form of purchase orders in the company every month in a period of 1 year, material plans, work orders and reports for the company. The results of the study found that the application of the control system in MRP provided forecasting results showing significant fluctuations in several months, such as June and September, which caused the potential for overproduction. In the context of MRP theory, this indicates the need for adjustments to safety stock and lead time so that the system can work optimally. MRP not only plays a role in purchasing planning, but also in managing production and distribution times, which in the case of SA Bakery is shown through the output of PO Quantity and capacity requirements analysis (CRP).

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of sustainable education in indigenous communities in East Kalimantan, known for their rich culture and local wisdom. Indigenous groups such as the Dayak and Kutai possess traditional practices aligned with sustainability principles, yet these are not well accommodated in formal education. This study employed a qualitative case study approach involving customary leaders, teachers, and educational stakeholders. The findings reveal that sustainable education incorporating local values enhances the relevance of learning, community participation, and environmental preservation. Indigenous institutions play a vital role in developing culturally based curricula and addressing both social and ecological issues. Government support and regulation are also crucial through inclusive policies and recognition of customary law. This study concludes that synergy between communities, educational institutions, and the government forms the foundation for a sustainable education system rooted in local wisdom and responsive to future development challenges.

Abstract

The MyPertamina application developed by PT Pertamina aims to enhance the user experience in accessing fuel services in Indonesia. However, despite its widespread use, the application still has some shortcomings. Some users feel that the application does not fully meet their expectations, especially regarding speed, reliability, and the accuracy of the information provided. Additionally, technical issues such as bugs or errors in the application pose barriers that affect user satisfaction, which ultimately impacts the level of user engagement with the application. This study aims to examine how performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and information quality influence user satisfaction, mediated by user engagement. A survey was conducted among active users of the MyPertamina application who had made transactions using the app. Purposive sampling was used in this study because the researcher wanted to select respondents with specific characteristics, namely active users of the MyPertamina application who had made fuel and non-cash transactions. This study employed a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with 130 respondents. The results showed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and information quality had a positive and significant impact on user satisfaction, mediated by user engagement. This study provides managerial implications for MyPertamina app developers to continuously improve the app's performance, ease of use, social influence, and the quality of information provided in order to enhance user satisfaction and engagement, thereby supporting sustained app usage. Developers should also pay attention to user feedback regarding technical issues and app quality to enhance the overall user experience.
