Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of sustainable education in indigenous communities in East Kalimantan, known for their rich culture and local wisdom. Indigenous groups such as the Dayak and Kutai possess traditional practices aligned with sustainability principles, yet these are not well accommodated in formal education. This study employed a qualitative case study approach involving customary leaders, teachers, and educational stakeholders. The findings reveal that sustainable education incorporating local values enhances the relevance of learning, community participation, and environmental preservation. Indigenous institutions play a vital role in developing culturally based curricula and addressing both social and ecological issues. Government support and regulation are also crucial through inclusive policies and recognition of customary law. This study concludes that synergy between communities, educational institutions, and the government forms the foundation for a sustainable education system rooted in local wisdom and responsive to future development challenges.

Abstract

The extracurricular programming program focusing on Pascal and HTML at Budi Mulia High School represents a strategic initiative to equip students with foundational skills in information technology, addressing the rapid advancements in this field. Designed to introduce structured programming principles through Pascal and static web development using HTML, the program employs a blended theoretical-practical pedagogical approach, emphasizing project-based learning (PBL) to foster creativity and problem-solving competencies. Conducted from January to February 2025, the program yielded significant improvement in students’ proficiency. In Pascal programming, 85% of participants demonstrated mastery of fundamental syntax, conditional structures (e.g., IF-ELSE and CASE statements), and iterative constructs (including FOR, WHILE, and REPEAT loops). A notable achievement was their successful implementation of a star-pattern simulation using the gotoxy command. Meanwhile, in web development, 90% of students completed static web projects employing HTML and CSS, exemplified by their creation of responsive class organizational structure webpages. The program’s positive outcomes include measurable improvement in computational logic, collaborative problem-solving, and readiness for advanced programming studies. These results underscore the efficacy of integrating structured programming and web development into secondary education curricula as a means of cultivating digital literacy and preparing learners for future technological challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Emotional Regulation (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) on Work Stress (Y) among civil servant teachers. The research method employed a quantitative approach with data collected through valid and reliable questionnaires. Multiple regression analysis showed that Emotional Regulation and Work Motivation significantly affect Work Stress, with regression coefficients of 0.656 and 0.454 respectively (p < 0.05). The F-test results indicate that the regression model is statistically significant, with an F-value of 71.176 and a p-value of 0.000, confirming that Emotional Regulation and Work Motivation simultaneously have a significant influence on Work Stress. Furthermore, the t-test results show that both independent variables have a significant partial effect on Job Stress, with a t-value of 7.941 (p = 0.000) for Emotional Regulation and 6.164 (p = 0.000) for Work Motivation. A correlation coefficient (R) of 0.869 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.756 indicate a very strong relationship, where the two independent variables together explain 75.6% of the variation in Work Stress. These findings confirm the importance of emotional management and enhancing work motivation as key strategies to reduce stress levels among civil servant teachers. The study also aligns with previous research that highlights the crucial role of emotional regulation and motivation in addressing job stress within educational settings.

Abstract

The MyPertamina application developed by PT Pertamina aims to enhance the user experience in accessing fuel services in Indonesia. However, despite its widespread use, the application still has some shortcomings. Some users feel that the application does not fully meet their expectations, especially regarding speed, reliability, and the accuracy of the information provided. Additionally, technical issues such as bugs or errors in the application pose barriers that affect user satisfaction, which ultimately impacts the level of user engagement with the application. This study aims to examine how performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and information quality influence user satisfaction, mediated by user engagement. A survey was conducted among active users of the MyPertamina application who had made transactions using the app. Purposive sampling was used in this study because the researcher wanted to select respondents with specific characteristics, namely active users of the MyPertamina application who had made fuel and non-cash transactions. This study employed a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with 130 respondents. The results showed that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and information quality had a positive and significant impact on user satisfaction, mediated by user engagement. This study provides managerial implications for MyPertamina app developers to continuously improve the app's performance, ease of use, social influence, and the quality of information provided in order to enhance user satisfaction and engagement, thereby supporting sustained app usage. Developers should also pay attention to user feedback regarding technical issues and app quality to enhance the overall user experience.

Abstract

This research explores how changes in bank interest rates affected home sales in Indonesia, both before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, placing importance on the connection between interest rate changes and the real estate market's behavior. A quantitative analysis of data regarding interest rates, volumes of home sales, and relevant economic indicators shows that notable interest rate decreases before the pandemic generally aligned with an increase in home sales, which reflects the usual housing market reaction to more accessible financing. Post-pandemic, the analysis indicates a more complex interaction. Even with sustained low-interest rates, home sales saw a substantial decrease, likely due to increased economic uncertainty and shifting consumer preferences, in most cases influenced by the pandemic. These observations emphasize the importance of grasping market sentiment and purchasing behaviors, suggesting that healthcare crises can significantly alter economic activities, like real estate. Furthermore, the implications extend beyond real estate, advising policymakers and financial institutions to develop interest rate strategies that consider the changing landscape of consumer behavior in health-related crises. The study ultimately provides important insights into the housing market's resilience during external shocks and the role of financial policies in supporting economic stability amidst public health emergencies, therefore guiding effective economic recovery efforts.
