Abstract

This study aims to identify potential failure modes caused by earthquake hazards at PT KMI Indonesia’s production facilities and to establish disaster mitigation priorities through the integration of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This approach bridges technical risk assessment and organizational preparedness within the metal industry context. Data were collected through interviews, field observations, and AHP questionnaires from 287 respondents. The FMEA results revealed three critical risks: gas leakage, inaudible alarms, and electrical hazard vulnerability. The AHP analysis prioritized regulatory compliance, early warning and monitoring systems, and human resource competency as the main mitigation criteria. The integration of FMEA and AHP proved effective in producing an objective and data-driven hierarchy of mitigation priorities. Practically, the study recommends improving evacuation facilities, establishing trained emergency response teams, and implementing digital dissemination of safety procedures to enhance industrial resilience against disasters.

Abstract

This study presents a systematic literature review that explores the complex relationships between leadership style, work engagement, performance management systems (PMS), and employee productivity. Guided by the PRISMA protocol, a total of 57 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 in Scopus-indexed journals (Q1–Q4) and SINTA-indexed journals (Level 2–4) were analyzed. The findings indicate that transformational leadership consistently exerts the strongest positive influence on work engagement and employee productivity, whereas laissez-faire leadership demonstrates negative effects. Work engagement emerges as a key mediating variable that translates leadership influence into productive work behaviors. PMS functions as an organizational infrastructure that moderates and, in some cases, mediates the leadership–performance relationship, with adaptive and fair systems producing superior outcomes. The integration of leadership, work engagement, and PMS generates a synergistic effect that contributes to sustained and measurable productivity improvements. This review contributes to the literature by offering a comprehensive integrative framework for understanding the interconnected role of leadership, engagement, and PMS, while also providing theoretical insights and practical implications for enhancing organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to review research on workplace ostracism and its impact on employees and analyze gaps that require further research. The methodology used was collecting articles on workplace ostracism published in Scopus between 2020 and 2025 using open access. These articles cover various industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, consumer goods, hospitality, and education, with over 50% of the research conducted in Asian countries, primarily China and Pakistan. The study found that workplace ostracism occurs at various organizational levels and is associated with factors such as performance and job stress. Other factors such as leadership and culture also influence employee behavior. Key findings indicate that workplace ostracism negatively impacts employee psychological aspects, such as burnout, job satisfaction, self-esteem, and well-being. Employees who feel neglected feel unappreciated, which can decrease performance and lead to information avoidance, as well as increase intentions to leave the job. Ostracism also impacts employees' personal relationships, including with family. Therefore, it is important for organizations to identify and prevent ostracism to maintain employee psychological health and organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how content from creators and recommendation algorithms influence Generation Z's purchasing decisions for Facetology skincare products on the TikTok platform. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach involving 102 female respondents aged 15–28 years. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 16, including validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, F-tests, and t-tests. The findings show that simultaneously and partially, creator content and recommendation algorithms have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions, with an Adjusted R² value of 0.538. The highest indicator in the creator content variable was “easy-to-understand language,” which demonstrated Tasya Farasya's ability to use communicative, clear, and relatable language to make it easy for the audience to understand product information and build trust in her recommendations. Meanwhile, in the recommendation algorithm variable, the highest indicator was “flexibility,” which reflected TikTok's ability to tailor content to user preferences. These factors encourage Generation Z to increase their purchasing decisions for recommended skincare products. This study emphasizes the importance of a collaborative strategy between creator credibility and algorithmic intelligence in shaping digital purchasing behavior among young consumers.

Abstract

Traditional predictive models such as linear regression often struggle to capture the nonlinear interactions among operational factors that cause delivery delays in multi-category courier services. This study addresses that gap by developing and comparing machine learning (ML) algorithms to predict delivery delays across different service types at PT Pos Indonesia. The primary objective is to identify the most accurate predictive model and the dominant variables influencing delays across high-speed (Same Day, Next Day) and economical delivery services. A quantitative experimental design was employed using operational data from PT Pos Indonesia, consisting of 10,999 records and 12 variables. Three ML algorithms Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost were trained and evaluated using standardized preprocessing, feature encoding, and stratified data splitting. Results show that Random Forest and XGBoost outperform Logistic Regression, each achieving approximately 65% accuracy with an AUC of 0.73, indicating moderate yet consistent predictive capabilities. Feature importance analysis reveals that Discount_offered, Weight_in_gms, and Prior_purchases are the most influential predictors of delivery timeliness. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions by introducing the first comparative ML framework for delay prediction in a national logistics context. The findings offer actionable insights for optimizing scheduling, load balancing, and promotional strategies, while advancing the integration of AI-based predictive analytics within postal logistics operations.

Abstract

The existence of creativity-based MSMEs has significant potential for creating jobs, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship, increasing regional income, strengthening local cultural identity, and contributing to overall economic growth through the utilization of human resources and creative ideas. The increasing number of MSMEs operating in the creative industry sector inevitably creates increasingly fierce competition. MSMEs must be able to improve their competitiveness and business performance through product innovation, marketing digitalization, and effective market orientation. The purpose of this study is to develop a model for improving the competitiveness and performance of MSMEs in the creative industry sector in Southwest Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, through three main constructs: digital marketing, product innovation, and market orientation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods by systematically compiling data/information obtained from field research in the form of interviews, field notes, and documentation. The data was organized into categories to facilitate analysis. The research informants consisted of creative industry business actors, local government officials, and digital marketing practitioners. The research results show that the creative industry in Southwest Sumba Regency has superior potential, especially in the craft sub-sector (woven fabrics, handicrafts, and jewelry made from beads and metal), which combines local cultural values with commercial aesthetics. However, business actors face challenges in expanding markets, improving product quality, and adopting effective digital marketing strategies. Adopting digital marketing and product innovation, combined with a strong market orientation, can improve the competitiveness and performance of MSMEs in Southwest Sumba Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the specific learning needs of students seeking to enhance the quality of human resources through a combined approach that integrates Nahwu Science with the moral teachings of Tasawwuf. The research objectives are multi-fold: firstly, to examine the systematic structure of topics addressed in Nahwu al-Qulub by Shaykh Imam Qushayri; secondly, to identify the moral values embedded within Tasawwuf as presented in the text; and thirdly, to investigate the integration of Nahwu Science with Tasawwuf's ethical education within Nahwu al-Qulub by Shaykh Imam QushayriThe research employs a qualitative approach, utilising a descriptive analysis method, while adopting a library research (or literature study) design. This approach involves gathering and examining materials pertinent to the discussion's theme and the issues raised, with sources drawn exclusively from literature. The analysis commences post-data classification, a process that transforms raw data into actionable insights, thereby enabling the identification of interconnections between various data points. The findings of this study reveal several key insights. Firstly, the systematic exposition of concepts within Nahwu al-Qulub by Imam al-Qushayri is consistent with the traditional structure of classical Nahwu. The text begins with a discussion of "al-Kalam" and proceeds through an examination of Isim, Fi'il, and Harf terminologies. Nahwu al-Qulub itself appears at a pivotal phase in the development of Nahwu, one marked by maturation and refinement, aligning with the periodisation suggested by scholars such as Syauqi Dhaif and al-Tantawi. Secondly, the study identifies core moral values of Sufism within the work, including an educational perspective that regards human beings holistically, addressing both divine and human dimensions, with the ultimate aim of fostering closeness to the Creator, al-Haqq, and cultivating self-awareness. Lastly, this research unveils an integration of Nahwu science with Sufi ethics, classifying Sufism’s dimensions into three key stages: Takhalli (purification), Tahalli (embellishment), and Tajalli (illumination).
